I think Deeponion should't been called scam , it's a free air drop. The team asks you for nothing , but give you free Onions , you loose nothing here.

They ask you for free advertising.

A note to everyone: still no reply from Gizzard. Will keep waiting until Tuesday to move forward.

Another note: I consider startsts's cryptohub.online as the defacto standard for buying/selling CrocodileCash. I could care less about Yobit.

Eventually, CrocodileCash will have a dedicated exchange for itself (hopefully startsts will be onboard for this), in order to make it easy to buy/sell CROC, and very noob friendly.

Hi All,

The cheap coins, they are running out and it seems that someone is accumulating, I think we will soon be able to see the price for 10000-20000 sat without any problems. Roll Eyes

With that price I will buy a village in Buenos Aires  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Fuck man hahaha.

I guess there is good incentive to help out to push CrocodileCash forward. I only have ~30,000 CROC from the bounty payment. But if we get a fund account going that'd be great. We can do multi-sig or something.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: September 29, 2017, 08:15:44 PM
Do you peoples remember these sentences?

2+ million Darkcoin/DASH were instamined in the first 48 hours30 hours of launch. (1.5 million in the first 8 hours) Dev tries to make everyone believe it was an accident.
After the initial 2+ million coin instamine, they start using private GPU miners while convincing everyone else it's still a CPU only coin
Link is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=995710.0

Text from 2015, and will be much better if I ignore that stupid information...
Who ignore that crap now is rich, I sold my dash long time ago because of that "help".
I dont wan't to repeat same error, so please leave deeponion alone.
Gogo deeponion!

Haha...So you are advocating this behavior. I think what you want is pretty obvious, no need to even mention it.

Onion is transparent and trustworthy till now.

Well no, they have been opaque for a long time now. But it's nice to see you agree.

If you follow closely there are several same people on this thread fighting 3 months to proove that DO is scam with very negative energy and no real arguments, more like manipulation of some information. What that tells you? I,ll quote my deeponion friend from other thread:

All of those who criticized onion may have just resorted to destroying it because of these reasons:
1. they were not qualified in the airdrop.
2. were already qualified before but got banned due to their own mistakes.
3. discrediting onion in order to promote their own coins
.
they may accuse onion anything they want...
but it is still up to us to believe with this community...
And i say i believe and will support it...
Cheesy

Scam accusations are slowly dying and DO is just getting started. Big success ahead!

GO GO GO GO GO DO!!! Grin

The answer to your 3 statements: no.

I have observed "scam accusations" have actually been increasing. I have not once called DeepOnion a scam but it sure is a con of some sort.

If you believe DeepOnion is not a scam, why do you even comment in this thread? What do you have to gain? Smiley
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: September 29, 2017, 04:21:20 PM
Potcoin and Peercoin...Look at their past values, look at their current volume. All there needs to be is 1 good piece of news to make money. Both have niche markets where they dominate.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| CrocodileCash | PoW/DPOS/PoS Hybrid | Snap Them Up Fast | Android Wallet | on: September 29, 2017, 01:47:29 PM
I will contact Gizzard to see if he's still around via PM.

It would be logical too, seeing a new team of dev is being build  that Gizzard give 30% of the coins he have been staking from day 1 to the dev found. ( there was never a statement saying he would put he's 150k coins on ice, so he had a head start in stacking )

we all know who would have be bigger wallet, so 30% sound rasonable
as heratys111  said the found would be to pay for hosting & development.
the found wallet address would be public so anyone can see it & keep track of the founds Smiley.

That would be nice but I don't expect it.

Yeah a public funding address would be good.

heratys111 I'm aware of WhoisGuard.

links on op updated, deeponion.network explorer didn't work any longer.

Guys if you wanna know what's happening to the DeepOnion Price.

It's pretty much the same as https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/torcoin-tor/

Over time, of course, it will go to $0.0x and $0.00x

No value, it's just a 'dev' enrichment process, that's all it is

Block explorer is working. In fact they have two.
I get why some people think DO is a scam, but most of the development has been happening with the forum, and in some ways the community building is really quite impressive. So far the development team has lived up to everything they've put on the roadmap, and all of the funds are transparent, developer addresses all that. People saying that devs have 100's of scam accounts are just trolling, there are only 250 people on the airdrop.

It is kind of an oppressive regime, but they run a tight ship in that regard.   If Development doesn't come forward in Q4 like on the roadmap then that will be the end for sure.

Scam though? If it is it is quite elaborate, and if it is, it's more of a sadistic trap than a scam.  People work hard for DO, if developers pull through then it will be an awesome coin. If they don't it will be a very sad community, but maybe some one could just fork the project, and fork the community and make a real working network!

Time will tell, for now there is no proof of scam, and i've looked around a lot.

There has been no development. What kind of lies are you trying to sell? Here are the changes since I last analysed their codebase:

1. Checkpoints updated (check)
2. Minor fixes?? It's a single line change. Who knows how this affects PoW, which could mean more coins mined.

And that's it.

Don't try digging DeepOnion out of its grave.

Oh yeah, their "DeepSend" feature is late. STILL waiting to see it! hahaha.

I hope to see new team of devs that will take this project to the next level. I strongly  believe  that croc cash can be so great even beyond our imagination

We are working on it. PM'd Gizzard a few hours ago.

Just checked some domains out.

Legit, crocodile.cash is available...for $60/year.

I will be honest, I don't want to throw $60 away. But if someone is feeling generous...Please go buy that domain and tell us.

EDIT:

odile.cash is available too for $6/year...Much better.

We can do something like:

croc.odile.cash

Not ideal but saves us some money, haha.

crocodileca.sh is $45/year

cr.ocodileca.sh is cheap too.

Anyway I dont want to be the one registering the domain to remain anonymous, but I can manage it once someone does buy it and we can use custom nameservers to manage subdomains.

I hold a lot of CROC  but I don't know what can I do for the project

What you're doing now is fine - maintaining your market, faucet and miner.

What could be cool actually is an all-in-one service. Make CrocodileCash as easy as possible to use.

market.crocodilecash.org
faucet.crocodilecash.org
miner.crocodilecash.org
games.crocodilecash.org
services.crocodilecash.org
jobs.crocodilecash.org
marketing.crocodilecash.org

and so on.

Our target audience would be newcomers to cryptocurrency.

Oh & I forgot to mention CROC's Rule ! Grin

seems he run away  Grin
https://twitter.com/CrocodileCash

Or he wanted to create a different one?

That is OK. Gizzard does not have to lead this. Anyone can.

I could lead I guess, but it  would be basically building around CrocodileCash, not touching the source at all, unless if REALLY necessary.

I would like if startsts joined me but he is ultra busy too.

Maybe you can also get Bumba on the dev team... What do you say Bumba?  Grin

I'd be willing to put some Croc in a wallet for a dev fund so it can eventually be sustainable.

OMG, that twitter page was gone! I wonder what will happen to this project if the DEVS are not committed enough to do his job?

The dev gave the project a very good start. There are no "devs", there was just him. He even said himself it was a shitcoin project. But a lot of us have used this to our advantage:

1. CrocodileCash is absolutely a coin with no premine now.
2. It is very solid in terms of mining and staking.
3. Direction is taken by the community, not the developer.

This puts CrocodileCash in a VERY good position. You guys want to make some fuckin' money? Time to decide what you want to do. Please read my last few posts in this thread to understand completely what I'm saying.

CrocodileCash can be the next Dogecoin, except you know...actually be useful and not lose value ultra fast.

But a very weak one) Current price is shit, need 500 sat!

You can see 5000 sat if people start putting in effort to support the coin.

(I'm now just repeating myself a zillion times - fuck it!)

This entails:

1. Writing software around CrocodileCash. Even if it's the stupidest shit - write it.
2. Marketing images - even if they are total shit. Shit is better than nothing.
3. Doing unexpected things with CrocodileCash - maybe put CrocodileCash coins in Geocaches; launch a tiny ballon with a CrocodileCash private key inside to a wallet; anything to get attention.
4. I want to see my CrocodileCash activate a door lock. I want to see my CrocodileCash used to turn off an alarm. I want to see people writing about it.

Participate, reader.

I could easily see higher than 5000 sat, because this coin is hard as fuck to get. Which is a good thing.
