81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is it when the year will be over there are always talk about the price on: August 27, 2020, 08:55:22 AM
I have seen a lot of threads created about predictions and hype about the price of Bitcoin before the end of the year, why people are doing this there seems to be so many hype and predictions, is this people or holders wants to sell their bags.
Maybe yes? Who knows? But I doubt they would specially when market isn't in good condition for somebody to sell their bags on. Well, predictions by the end of the year on the other hand seems pretty normal. And yeah, you already answer it, it is for the hype itself though. But it is not that bad in my opinion, as it will generate more people to join this industry  Grin.
Do you have your own prediction?
Nah. I'm not fond of prediction stuff or anythin', as it won't matter at the end of the day.
82  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paano natin i angat ang local at makatulong. on: August 27, 2020, 05:07:15 AM
You can't guarantee consistency, if wala naman talaga maidi-discuss masyado rito then wala talaga  Grin. Mahirap rin kasi kung mag-o-open ka lang ng topic for the sake of being active pero you couldn't make neither head nor tail from the subject itself, then parang wala rin. Nagiging active lang talaga 'tong board if may pumutok na issue, news, updates and whatnot.

And yep, pansin ko rin, 'di naman tayo totally dry tulad nung iba, and better na rin since kahit papaano mayroon mga ganap, better than totally having nothing. As for the language? Depende rin naman siguro, I prefer using taglish as I can express myself better using it, but it doesn't make me any less of a Filipino naman siguro. Besides, this board is meant for diverse opinion 'bout bitcoin with fellow Filipino user or pwede rin naman sa iba kaya minsan may dumadayo na foreign dito expressing their thoughts gamit ang Ingles.

Anyway, well laid out, kabayan. I'd like to give you merit sana kaso I don't have anything left to give   Undecided.

Paul George is unstoppable this time, he is afraid of going to China next season. that's why we see him played today like he used to. And, the Mavericks has made a couple of franchise records today as well.
?? Why would PG be going to China next year?  He has 2 massive cap restricting years on his contract and he is a key cog in the clippers team.  If for some wierd reason he was cut every other team would be lining up to sign him.  Some bad games doesn't mean he will get exhiled from the nba..
Yeah, I'm confused too, what that guy be doing in China anyway Huh 'Cause I believe, he played better today, for that, he needs to pull himself back together since he seemed a bit off on his previous games. And he really needs to play well though, otherwise the Mavericks might beat them.

Anyway, what do you guys think 'bout this?

(I took a screenshot from this clip)
Source: nba espn

I know there was a heat between these two. But was it deliberate, and do he need to go such length just to win the series? Is Luka that unstoppable?
Believe me, after few days, weeks or months may mga mag-pa-pop up na mga related advertisements having the same schemes kagaya niyan. And actually, napa-search ako sa fb just to look how prevalent such issue here. And my query leads me to DOF warning, though the matter at hand has a different name, pero it is similar naman sa bitcoin code thingy na 'yan. So, please take some time to report 'yang case at mga lalabas pa soon na mga issues sa mga authorities though 'di man ma-wiped out at least mabawasan  Wink.

85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: August 25, 2020, 06:11:57 PM
Number 35 is kinda great, I mean his run towards those million dollar winnings is far more interesting story, than those people who win in just one shot. And although, that downfall of him is kind of quick, I still don't feel bad 'bout him, dunno why exactly though  Grin, maybe am that amazed on his journey. Besides, that man (Archie Karas), isn't type of guy who goes crazy, insane or whatever gestures a typical man usually went to when the odds goes against them.

By the way, nice interesting facts!!
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: August 25, 2020, 11:38:09 AM

Also, are they still into gambling or they have left it and what do they do now? Would be nice to know their current positions as well like how they lead their life’s after those losses.
Maybe those people who are still capable of gambling like Michael Jordan, and Kerry Pecker. But I'm pretty they are not going anywhere near this field anymore, considering the mess they had with it. Besides, those numbers ain't just a typical loss, to begin with. And it is not something that could be recover easily  Grin.

How's their life? Not sure 'bout those who are still alive though, maybe some were still leadin' a good life like Jordan despite their issue but certainly, majority on the list hits rock bottom. I tried to search about Watanabe's life now, and according to this, he's suffering from health issues and now seeking for some financial help for his medical fees (that he could pay without any trouble at all, before). Fortunately, he received some various help.
87  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Loophole? on: August 24, 2020, 03:30:41 PM
while on a website that lets you watch a movie for free an ad pop up on the side of my screen with the president's face on it I clicked to check it out and to my "surprise" it's an article about bitcoin. It's very ambitious of them to use the president as a front for their scam. the article even said that the president is urging it citizen to learn about bitcoin "lifestyle"
-
Of all people talaga, 'no? Pero kung sabagay, not too surprising na 'yong mga ganito, it is just that, ganiyan na kasagad 'yong pagkasabik nila makabiktima ng mga 'di gaanong aware with these ventures. Good thing pala nakita mo 'to, 'di pwedeng diyan-diyan na lang 'yan at marami rin pinoy mahilig maglibot sa mga free movies na site, 'di malabong ma-intrigued sila sa ganiyan. So, anyway, ni-report mo na ba 'to?

These are the sites yata kung saan mo pwede ilapag 'yan  Huh.

88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Oscar De La Hoya vs Amir Khan? on: August 23, 2020, 04:26:47 PM
-
Oscar De La Hoya is following Myke Tyson and he announced possible return to boxing
-
Gonna stick with this then, since it was not yet certain. It is obviously just a money game, or whatever scheme they're upto. It is just kinda obvious that Amir Khan is on the edge here. 14 years age gap? And on top of that he's already 11 years retired from this sport. He is just fooling himself in this match then. But whatever, he knew himself better, he might be needing the benefit he'll get from returning to the ring again so badly Huh. Who knows?
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 23, 2020, 11:13:30 AM

It's from January Smiley

Tim MacMahon: Source: MRI on Luka Doncic’s sprained left ankle revealed “nothing alarming.” He is expected to be a gametime decision for Sunday afternoon’s Game 4 vs. Clippers.

Source: https://hoopshype.com/storyline/luka-doncic-injury/
Yep, I did checked it for myself as well just to be sure  Grin. Haven't seen the other games lately so, I'm kinda nervous when I saw such news here. 'Cause am rooting for Mavericks in this match up.

Here's the proof from the given link itself:

Source: /reports-luka-doncic-miss-2-weeks

To give a bit of light 'bout his update, here's what I got.
Quote
"We're unsure of the exact severity of Luka's ankle. One of the good things is, it's the good ankle, not the one that he's sprained a few times in the lat couple of years," Carlisle said.
Source: /nba/news/luka-doncic-injury-update

I just hope for him to be well already. He's a great piece on his team, obviously. And one more thing (that is for certain here...), they got a chance to win the series against Clippers.
90  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Competition]Free NBA 2020 Season Prediction Competition (Prize 0.010 BTC) on: August 22, 2020, 03:04:05 PM
I just have one little correction lang between Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder hehe. Bali 'yong score prediction ko is "4-1" not 4-2 in favor of Rockets.

I'll just quote my entry na lang, thanks.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Houston Rockets = (1 - 4)

Just wait for the other competition, I might start a competition for the 2nd round playoffs prediction. Stay Tune.  Smiley
Abangan namin to brad.
Oh, nice...

I see then. I just couldn't find the deal lang kasi parang fully legalize na rin 'yong feels natin dito  Grin. Pero yep, couldn't deny that possibility either. As per merchant? As far as those fees goes, I agree with @mk4.

Na sa mga user na lang talaga if they'll take time to look around the internet and read every necessary stuff na mayroon sa industry na 'to.

What are the significant differences ba if ma-fully/totally legalize 'tong cryptocurrency sa bansa natin ngayon? I mean we seem very fine naman on using it, just like anybody else. No biggie problems, threats on getting bitcoin ban and whatnot. And parang hindi rin naman agad-agad mag-bu-boom 'yong dami ng mga gumagamit dito if may sudden shift sa mga ganiyan bagay   Grin. Well anyway, it is still good to hear such news though.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Warren Buffett will change his mind about bitcoin? on: August 21, 2020, 09:43:20 AM
Would he change his mind? Nah, and I don't think he would (judging from his previous stand). But I'd be glad if he would.
"His pride is far more valuable to him"
This says a lot about him. Besides, maybe his ideology with financial/investing stuff doesn't suit on how bitcoin works. Kinda bad for him for letting this thing slip though, but yeah... he's already rich, so it won't even matter, after all.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 20, 2020, 01:32:05 PM
That Dallas Mavericks win was big, it was very convincing and I thought if KP wasn't ejected in game 1, the series could be 2-0 now.
-
Yeah, and props to their bench players, they did stepped up, and that was a huge factor on their win. Anyway, I wonder why Boban only played for a limited minutes? That guy had some insane stats for a 10 minutes playtime 13pts and 9rebs? He could've accomplished better numbers there, if he will be given more minutes to play  Sad.

If these underdogs (Blazers, Mavs, Magic) maintain their composure. We might be able to see unexpected teams to win the series on the next round  Grin.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 20, 2020, 10:56:36 AM
I understand the concern but such incident is a responsibility of the parent alone. KYC on the other hand, as being said might going to hinder/doubt potential gamblers to start playin'. Besides, even if several gambling platforms has such requirements, they really won't even know who were betting behind the screen. I mean, the given news might even happen online -- it would the parents who would submit the requirements then they'll just let their children to gamble. So it don't make any sense imo, after all.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Second COVID-19 wave is comming...Infinite loop? on: August 20, 2020, 06:47:54 AM
That can easily be observed among people even in cities where the number of infected cases is still climbing fast. However, the governments cannot just ignore the fact that rising infection causes hospitals to overflow with patients and that it forces a lot of economic activities to stop thereby resulting to rising unemployment and growing poverty incidence. So while we cannot be walking on eggshells all the time, the governments have to somehow instill to the public mind that there is still an unseen monster out there.
I wonder how or would it be even make a sense? People are becoming fed up with those warnings (the picture you have, best portrays the idea). Well they aren't taking the threat this virus can do any longer. Like the lack of social distancing inside the train one month ago, read here, people not wearing mask when in public places, gatherings, and whatnot. Not sure if they're forgetting or they are just I-don't-care-as-I-need-to-work-to-get-money type of guy or whatever reasons they have. Yeah... reminders were there but I don't think that it will be enough to discipline them. I'm not sure anymore though, even a strict a protocol tend to be violated easily  Sad. Getting those vaccines ready as soon as possible, were the only hope we have now.
97  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcoin Revolution Scam on: August 20, 2020, 03:45:54 AM
Yeah, and expect mo na 'yan.

Pero it surprised me kasi may similar content akong nakita from a different web naman.
Like this one: http://bitcoinrevolutionunitedkingdomreview.com/jessica-soho-bitcoin-revolution-review/

Anyway, I already reported these sites as per OP given link para sure. 'Di man maubos atleast nabawasan.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 19, 2020, 10:32:19 AM
Not just that.
Lakers is also missing a big piece in their roster.
Avery Bradley. He can contribute a something in the offense but his greatest strength is defense.
Think about Alex Caruso, now upgrade that.  Grin

But, they will need to fill that hole.
Someone that will not take off his eyes from Lillard. 34 points is huge. Alex will need to step it up.
Yeah, but still props to Alex Caruso, he did well, those steals he had were pretty good too. It is just that Liliard had some ridiculous range, that guy is insane. He could damn shoot after getting literally past an inch from screen. Tell you what, am getting nervous if he got the ball though, I just can't help but imagine that he can shoot right away after getting past to the logo.

As for the Lakers, they should've utilize Dion Waiters or JR Smith instead of KCP or even Danny Green they played very rough, and seemed struggling behind the 3pt line. If they only made those buckets or even half of their total fg, they probably get the W here   Sad.

Anyway, here are the standing of each team right now:

Actually, Lebron made a tweet that it is really a bogus. I believe that if KCP did not ejected in the game, I'm sure that they will win even though Clippers are currently playing good especially their stars which is Paul and Kawhi. Many fans do not like the outcome because of what happened in the earlier game.
I look about it on twitter, and yeah you are right. I even stumble upon Doc River's opinion about the issue.

Here's what I got:
https://youtu.be/--GqmL7caWQ

He just say "he don't like" Porzingis being out of the game. That call was very a game changing, although Mavs did managed to get up close to Clippers. But it ain't no regular season though, so such ejection was pretty crucial, specially Porzingis was one of the key player along side with Doncic. But whatever, there's nothing they can do about it now, unfortunately.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: August 18, 2020, 11:30:06 AM
Find out all the answers in our blog post: What are VR casino games.

What’s your opinion? Are VR games something that you would like to have in the cryptocurrency casinos as well?
Well interesting. I read your blog. I'd say, those equipments were pretty expensive, and I couldn't find any plausible reason for small timer to buy it. And yeah, a bit troublesome specially when you're doin' something else besides gambling, I mean I prefer the feeling of -- not totally locked out with such helmet and just free to do something. Might be interesting for some, but as other says, it is not quite practical. But don't get me  wrong, this is still good for new experiences  Cheesy.
