81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myetherwallet who use this? How much ETH holding? on: November 07, 2017, 03:24:02 PM
Now my balance is ~60 ETH, waiting price up Roll Eyes
So how much eth u have, and what comment about MEW.com? Safety wallet or not?
Thanks
I use it and I can say that this is not totally safe because your money can be stolen when you open mew from other site like emails or some forum but it has a private key that makes it secure like the others.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: November 07, 2017, 01:59:13 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
I never heard that waves will top ethereum or will be the next ethereum, but I know waves has a potential. Waves and Ethereum is comparable because they do many almost the same tasks. But there are times that you may say why waves? why ethereum?  Waves is designed for easy crowdfunding, it's pretty direct when it comes to token operations and fast transactions.  Ethereum has a feature that waves doesnt have like the smart contracts.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty campaigns for Newbies? on: November 05, 2017, 02:18:33 PM
Hello guys,

I was searching for some bounty campaigns that accept newbies like myself. Do you know of any that recently started ( in the last 7 days for example ). It's a mess in the Bounty thread..
Im currently in multibot now, I joined a signature campaign but there is bounty and other campaigns there available for newbies but it has low pay. Try to rank up first for more opportunities and higher pay.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: November 05, 2017, 01:29:02 PM
Who uses this wallet? - https://www.myetherwallet.com/
What say about him?
I use myetherwallet and I would say that it's not completely safe, there may be instances that your money will be stolen, only if you are not careful in opening links.  Overall it is good and simple.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you research the company before participating in a bounty? on: November 05, 2017, 01:22:42 PM
Just wondering if this is something everyone does, and what questions you need answered before you are comfortable participating (and actively promoting) an ICO?
of course, money is included here so i dont want to take risk on untrusted ico. I do research on my own or ask a reliable friend if it's good to participate to. I dont not want my efforts to be useless in a ico that is a scam.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of DogeCoin on: November 05, 2017, 12:54:13 PM
Yesterday one of my friend sent me some dogecoins, so out of curiosity i started digging information about how this coin work and how it is different from others as it is my first interaction with this Crypto-asset.

I found some interesting information regarding how it's origin is based on a popular internet meme and it's community active participation in various charity works and even in helping their fellow mates who lost their dogecoins in a cyberattack through various crowdfunding efforts, which is indeed appreciable.

If we specifically talk about speed of transactions - i have to say dogecoin is indeed fast. But the thing which caught my attention is there is no limit to its suppy, which means it is present in infinite amount.

Till today more than 100 billion dogecoins are in circulation. With as of today Oct-23-2017 , 1 DOGE =   $0.00101075 .
We have been taught about price-supply-demand things in school , in simple terms a price of an asset will depend on demand in market and its suppy - if supply of an asset is more than demand price falls and if supply is less and demand in market is more then price of an asset increases. So we can relate this to the continous BTC price increase as demand for bitcoin is more and supply is limited which increases it's value.
Comming to the fact that dogecoins have no limit of supply i hardly think it can ever become an investment asset or a stable currency ever. I see some people on twitter who are investing in alt coins see it as an long investment on which i completely disagree.

If we want to see doge coin really succeed , here are my views what the developers should seriously take note of:

1. Limit its Supply:

More than 100 billion doge coins are in circulation with market cap of approx. USD 13.5 MIL . 100 billion is a big number and it's always increasing so unless community decide to limit it , i donot think it can attain any significant value in longterm.

2. Ok if we limit it - what will we do with existing coins?:

Solution to above problem is quite simple. We just need to publish a new Crypto-token or currency which will derive it's value from previous currency in circulation. For Ex: Let the new currency be called Super Dogecoin denoted by S-DOGE. As per our convenience we can set it's base value like 1 S-DOGE could be equal to 1000 or 10K or say even 100k DOGEs . So not just it will decrease the numbers of coin but will also hold significant value. And this new currency could also be listed to the exchange if needed.
Thank you.
is dogecoin actually legit? i dont think it's made seriously to have a purpose. It's like litecoin with some minor changes. I know it's a "real" cryptocurrency but I think it's supposed to be just for fun like Jesuscoin.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite 3 altcoins and why? on: November 05, 2017, 12:28:01 PM
BTC, IOTA and Byteball.

BTC simply because is the father of all crypto world, the first and the most powerful rightnow.

IOTA because i think that this can be the future of the crypto.

Byteball because is of the same family of IOTA.
You're right btc is the father of all cryptocurrencies but btc is not an altcoin like what is asked. Imo my best altcoins in order are bitshares, waves, and ethereum.
bitshares because the currency are digital asset tokens that get rid of price unstability. waves for speed, security, and transparency . ethereum for faster block time, also kickstarter isnt needed  when you have ethereum.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the advantage of Bitcoin from ETH? on: November 03, 2017, 03:01:57 PM
bitcoin came first than the other cryptocurrency so it is more popular.  Actually ethereum is a block chain that  supports btc, it doesnt compete with btc.  Also they have different purposes. They are set to have different intentions rather than competing with each other
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jesus Coin? on: November 02, 2017, 11:27:06 PM
I ran across this the other day, clearly it is a scam, but they sure spent a lot of time putting together a very nice site and it seems to have raised some money as well. Anyone know anything specific about this or is it entirely a joke?
yeah, I googled it and clearly it was all joke. looking from the name itself, sounds like theyre making fun of Jesus and not worth believing at all.   yes, the concept is good lol but I think they are not serious about the project. sadly, ICO is becoming a joke now.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum so special? on: November 02, 2017, 06:01:07 AM
Ethereum is so valuable. It's a rising star that may outpace bitcoin in the future. It also has good features that bitcoin don't have.  Ethereum has a record of transaction that can be created faster than bitcoin. It's second to bitcoin and it may grow more than the bitcoin.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the perfect Cryptocurrency? on: November 01, 2017, 05:57:25 AM
I would love to hear from the community what is the perfect cryptocurrency in their opinion. In terms of scam free, value potential and sustainability.

What are your thoughts?
as of now, i dont think there is "perfect" cryptocurrency that exist, all have their good and bad sides.  There's no perfect but there is best and imo bitcoin is the best. I choose litecoin when it comes to altcoins. for me it's good to invest in litecoin.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to spend bitcoins in real world anonymously ? on: October 30, 2017, 01:38:52 PM
many are using it illegaly, I heard in the news that it is used in buying illegal drugs. They didn't use cash but bitcoin in their transactions.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Litecoin or Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 02:29:48 AM
my vote is bitcoin, it's the king.  But I have a little concern, there are times that litecoin is better choice than bitcoin.  confirmation time is much faster than bitcoin, also lower transaction fees. My vote still bitcoin
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: October 30, 2017, 01:24:31 AM
Are you picky with ICOs?
yeah I would be picky because we're talking about money here, many ICOs there are scam so make sure that the ICO is trusted. Join only those who are trusted and worthy. I consider also if I will earn more money.

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you hold your coins? on: October 29, 2017, 04:28:23 PM
So i'm new to cryptocurrency, actually just started 2 days ago, was reading about cryptocurrency, and stumbled upon Neblio and decided to go for it.

Now i'm holding about 600$ worth of Neblio on Cryptopia, which i'm fairly certain it will reach at least 2x, but aiming at x4 early next year to be honest.

Anyway, i want to sit on the Neblio for a while, but i don't want to have it hostage on an Exchange, so what are the best and safer solutions, Desktop and Online to hold he currency?
i personally use myetherwallet but i recommend you to use desktop wallet like electrum, its very easy to use and understand. It's also very popular and good for new bitcoin users.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs Ripple on: October 29, 2017, 01:23:18 PM
I heard Waves will be evolution of what Ripple attempted to be. Well Waves has some similarities with Ripple but seems better and less centralised. What is your take on it?
waves price is getting higher and you can easily make your own tokens quickly.
