81  Other / Politics & Society / Re: marriage is everybody problems! on: June 12, 2023, 11:57:19 AM
just like business, when the business goes bad, it is everybody else problem, everybody, every taxpayer gotta bailout the bad business that goes broke, everyone would pay the taxes.

we all hope the husband would fix and help the marriage on his own. that is a wiseful thinking. i saw many married men have this very funny opinion, they always talk about their life suck, and foreveralone guy is better. It is clear to me now, he can't tix his marriage problem alone, when he got married, it is everybody else problems, it is the entire nations problems, it is internationally problem, everybody else gotta bailout the marriage!

How is it everybody's problem to bail out a failed business when it is a private enterprise. This is not true unless it is a business that is owned by government. Few times we see government offering bailout to private business as palliatives during hard times like what happened in my country during coronavirus in 2020. In marriage, it is more complicated than business. There are alot of married couples who can not fix their problems by themselves and they seek outside intervention. There is nothing bad in this. But they should meet marriage counsellors for help, not just any person on the streets.

84  Economy / Scam Accusations / Is Happyminer real? on: May 29, 2023, 09:15:16 AM

Two weeks ago, some one talked to me about this mining site called the Happyminer and how I can make passive income from setting it up on my phone. This is the website www.happyminer.us It looks good and the person who told me about it is someone with a deep knowledge about cryptocurrency. My confusion is that alot of people in this forum have said mining sites are not good and are mostly scam sites but this site am given looks good. Because of that I do not know how to conclude this if it is real or fake. Can someone help me out. I do not want to go on a journey to waste my time with it. I need your help on it. Has anyone used this site before? Is it real?

And please moderators can move this topic if this board is the wrong place for it.

87  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 14-May-23] on: May 26, 2023, 07:56:20 AM
There's something going on with Bettercallraul campaign and Royse decided to halt the campaign indefinitely. The team made it look that they've been seized just as how the known CM has been seized through their website.

[...]
Please remove the signature, the campaign is on hold until I have an update from the team. [...]
Regards,

Royse777

And the problem is not resolved yet. The campaign should be removed from the table or put in red to show it has unresolved issue.

90  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: It would have been worse without Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general. on: May 18, 2023, 09:05:57 AM
This government knows what control means, and it is in keeping the masses poor, that they retain power.

APC don show this country too much hardship. Na that control we go face if that sick Tinubu and his mean Shettima enter office. The same thing weh make them cause cash scarcity before and during the election go still make them try am again. Now them fit pronounce another ban on bitcoin and na why I deh look some people here weh deh support APC. E go touch everybody when government ban bitcoin trade again. We fit still remember how the thing do us for body that time. This old Nigeria politicians no sabi anything about bitcoin and no go see the financial independence it creates as a positive. Na real wahala we go see now if we  no take time.

Again that list weh them write names of people weh them ban na fake. The US no make am public because e go contradict human rights. Those people go find out when them go airport to fly.
92  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Use a good noncustodial wallet on: May 18, 2023, 06:00:08 AM
Trustwallet is not an open source wallet, not supporting RBF and not generating multiple addresses. It has only one bitcoin address. Not supporting CPFP and not supporting coin control. Even just address freeze, it is not supporting it.

We use Trust Wallet more because it has other coins in addition to bitcoin. It is a crypto wallet while the other ones you recommended look more of only bitcoin wallet. You get any other crypto wallets weh be open source? Abeg make you help us drop am here. I also need to reduce my over dependence on Trust wallet.

Now a new journey begins, and hopefully, 5 years later I would be able to write another boring story like this one.

Your story is not boring. Your story gives me confidence to keep doing my best and that one day I will be better than I am today. Congratulations for your achievement. Another 5 years will be better for you than it is now. Congratulations again.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins on: May 04, 2023, 04:54:26 AM
I got lots of them in my wallet, I'm just leaving them in my wallet since moving them needs fees to complete the transaction so rather than spending lots of my money for the fee I just leave it alone in my wallet. Until now I can't find the solution for dead coins in my wallet

And you are still expecting a miracle to happen to bring them back to life? If the project is abandoned it is always difficult to come back because the team would have broken up. I once got a token that was good but one of the team member sold off all his tokens and left. That caused a dump and it affected the token. It eventually killed it despite how the rest team members tried to revive it. Those who are still holding this token waiting for it to come back will remain in shock waiting because it is dead and dead.
96  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: May 03, 2023, 05:01:42 PM

Americans like to complain over little things. A little mistake and someone has made it look like a national disaster. You have to come to Africa where the real senile old men rule to appreciate your president.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I may sound really stupid right now, but it's what I noticed on: May 01, 2023, 07:40:15 AM
Why is it that bad news always comes in a bear market and when we are in a bull market, all bad news about Bitcoin vanished? Are they doing this on purpose? It's always the bear market, after halving everything will disappear and some bans will be lifted, and so on...

Are we been played? Are these people toying with us, knowing that crypto will work but let's scare the hell out of them and take advantage of the fear? I can't come up with anything that makes more sense than this.

Bad news also happen during bull market but they are quickly eaten up because the people do not care about it when they believe that the market is in a bull. It is the same when good news comes out during the bear market but people are scared to buy during the period. A few people buying during bear season will hardly create any impact to change the direction just like a few people selling during a bull market will note make any impact also. Whenever this things happen we can not say that there are people toying with us in crypto. The market is a very big one and can not be easily toyed with.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: May 01, 2023, 06:44:08 AM

Both are very important in life to record success. But knowledge comes first. There are those who will never experience anything related to their business before they started but they have the knowledge of the business and know how to run it. We can learn from the sad experiences of others to avoid getting hit by the same sad occurrences. We do not have to experience it by ourselves before we learn. This is why I said that knowledge is a step ahead of experience. We can also channel this to bitcoin learning.

I was fumbling with the trust setting after reading so much about it and wanted to test how it works. I tried a few names but left it. Did not remember I left it without returning it to default setting. Sorry about it. I feel bad it happened because I never planned that. Am adjusting it now. There is even another valuable member I left there. What a blunder.
