The Werner signing is finally done for Leipzig for a fee of 20 million euros. Leipzig must be very contented with having one of their best players back in the team now. He didn't have good days with Chelsea for a long time and he finally has an opportunity to show his real performance at his old team. I also wonder what Chelsea are thinking after sending Lukaku and Werner both in the same transfer window. However they might not make a big signing for the centre-forward position I assume.

If Kevin Durant wants to leave the team then Nets had better let him go by a nice trade. Being insistent on keeping him here would cause him to be more unhappy and this would be of no use for Nets in the coming season. Irving must be in the same situation now too but we are hearing about Durant the most these days. He has been likely to sign for Suns or Heat but I don't know if they are still interested in a trade for him. Both of those teams would be nice for him imo.

Juventus - Sassuolo is another nice match on the first week of the season. Unlike the bookmakers I think that this match is going to be a really close and competitive one. Sassuolo are known as a very durable team against the biggest teams of this league. This is a new season of course and we don't have any idea about how they will perform this time. My expectation from the result of the match is that Juventus would be victorious by a one-goal difference.

We have a really interesting match in three days: Freiburg - Dortmund. This is the match of the week to me and it is really difficult how it would end. Honestly I think that Freiburg are closer to a victory in this match. Because they seem more prepared than their opponent for this season. Bookmakers are favouring Dortmund of course but I think they can't win this match. I would rather bet on a double chance for Freiburg. Dortmund still need to improve their performance after seeing them against Leverkusen.

Filip Kostic deal is almost done for Juventus indeed. Juventus would make use of a decent left winger now and Kostic is a really good candidate for that. He has performed really impressively at Frankfurt so far. He can contribute strongly to Juventus with his goals and assists both. He shouldn't be considered as old as well because he is 29 years old. I don't know if they would find a better left winger now but this is still a good move right before the season starts.

I just loved Manchester City in their match a lot. Actually I especially mean Erling Haaland. Because he started the season perfectly by scoring two goals. It is awesome to see him adapting to the team this quick and I can't wait to watch him scoring in the other matches as well. Manchester City might have really become a team that are much harder to stop now. They would surely have another great season in the PL but they need the Champions League title especially.
Erling Haaland did have a perfect debut with Manchester City in the first match, Erling Haaland was able to score two goals, Erling Haaland was able to follow in the footsteps of Aguero, I also believe Erling Haaland will become a legend of Manchester City like Aguero, but on his first debut Aguero only became a player. substitute, Aguero came on in the 59th minute but he scored his first goal just 10 minutes after he entered the field, Aguero also managed to score the winner against QPR and Aguero also managed to bring the EPL trophy for the first time to the club Manchester city. When it comes to Aguero, he is truly a legend for Manchester City. Erling Haaland will need to go a long way to reach his level here but this way can be shorter if he continues to show a wonderful performance for a long time. Haaland can do this even younger as it seems. Haaland is the biggest candidate for becoming the top scorer of the season as well. Guardiola must be very happy about this transfer as they didn't have a striker like this for some time. Gabriel Jesus was nice but not as good as Haaland. |

We have not much time left for the start of a new season. There are two opening matches like Milan - Udinese and Sampdoria - Atalanta. I'm very confident about Milan in this match honestly. I know that Milan haven't been very lucky against them in the recent times but I don't expect it to happen in this match as well. As for the other match, Atalanta are clearly the favourite but they sometimes can be really unpredictable. I wonder how strong they will start the season.

This is still possible, but the problem is that the Spanish League authorities are still not willing to accept the registration of these 5 new players from Barcelona which makes this quite difficult for them. How can we see Lewandwoski be the focus when he can't even be registered there.
Now we can only hope that Barcelona solve the problem so that they can play Lewandowski in La Liga.
They are refusing all of their new transfers? This would be no different than a nightmare for Barcelona that's for sure. Especially Lewandowski's registration is the most important thing for the team now. Him only might not be enough too of course. On the other hand Barcelona must have been aware of this already before finalizing these deals. Then they must be confident about registering these players somehow otherwise there is no meaning in making all these transfers. I assume they didn't think of only the Champions League. |

Marseille are about to sign Alexis Sanchez now as he is said to have terminated his contract with Inter. He can still be quite useful for the team he goes to by the way as he is 33 now. I guess he wouldn't retire before playing a few more years. However there is a problem that Marseille have already 4 centre-forwards in the team. By adding Sanchez also I wonder what they are planning to do. Otherwise it might be harder for Sanchez to be a regular player in the lineup unless he makes a big difference.

Leipzig had a very unlucky match by the way. They were very dominant in the second half especially as they had literally 18 goal attempts and 6 of them were on target too. But they still couldn't even score one goal and Stuttgart stole one point from them by a 1-1 result. However I still think that Leipzig have given very nice signals about the new season. Werner is also about to come back to the team so they would be more effective in scoring if he starts playing like the old times.

Chicago Bulls have signed a contract with Goran Dragic. His last team were Brooklyn Nets and his performance there wasn't satisfying at all. He didn't perform at the level he wanted therefore I think that he has made the right choice by deciding to sign for another team. He is 36 years old though therefore I don't have huge expectations. But he can at least play better if he adapts to his new team. He can at least improve his PPG which is important for a guard.

Juventus still seem insistent about signing Memphis Depay. I think that Juventus would really make use of another striker now because they have only Vlahovic and Kean as the main strikers at the team. They had better add another striker and be more prepared for immediate situations. Allegri can prefer two forwards in his tactic as well therefore it is important for them to have another one now. Depay is actually okay about signing for another big team. As a result I believe this transfer is likely to happen.

Frankfurt can be a really interesting opponent even when it comes to Bayern Munich. It is difficult to predict what they can do in this kind of matches. However I see Bayern Munich quite solid recently. Maybe it was a Super Cup match but their performance against Leipzig was worth appreciating a lot. I'm expecting them to maintain this determination today against Frankfurt as well. It is risky to trust them about winning by at least two goals for me but I can add their normal win to my betslip.

Antoine Greizmann haven't lift the Laliga Trophy for a single time after spending nearly 16years in Spain. The Frenchman looks and hopes one day he would lift the Laliga cup but he's so eager because he's one key player in Athletico Madrid which he helped them win numerous cups and the reason he moved to Barcelona was to lift the Laliga title but unfortunately for him, he wasn't able to win it with barça, rather his former team Athletico Madrid were crowned champions of Spain in his absence, but he's one won one big achievement which clear the difference between Ronaldo and Messi which is the World Cup. Antoine Grizmann will still play for Athletico madrid this season.
Indeed he hasn't lifted any La Liga cup so far. It is really difficult to do so with Atletico Madrid now too because Barcelona and Real Madrid are improving much more currently. Atletico Madrid can't do much against their transfer moves. Not making important changes in the team makes things harder for them about winning a title. Their previous season was already problematic and this might be another one. I'm pretty sure Simeone wouldn't change much thing about the team also. |

The Premier League is finally about to be underway this evening! I have really missed this league especially because it a league that has the biggest competition among all leagues in Europe. The opening match is going to be Crystal Palace - Arsenal as you know. Arsenal are quite highly the favourite side to win this. They have improved their lineup so much that they are expected to be much more competitive in this season. Their last match against Crystal Palace here wasn't good but this time I expect Arsenal to win.

Aubameyang still has a contract running until 2025. I don't know if he would really go to Chelsea now. Because he can still be very useful for Barcelona when there is a need for him. Lewandowski's arrival would surely leave Aubameyang in his shadow from now on. But we shouldn't forget that Aubameyang has been very beneficial for the team so far. Xavi might be still hoping to keep him at the team. Chelsea need a striker as soon as possible so they would do their best to sign him.

We are really used to seeing players like Mertens coming to the Super League after getting quite old. However maybe he can still be useful like Gomis for them despite being 35 years old. But I don't know if he is really the striker they need the most now. If I were in their place I would look for signing a much younger and capable striker who can play for long years as well. Saving the day isn't enough for a team like Galatasaray. They need to make long-term plans as well.

Juventus have an interest in Chelsea midfielder Jorginho currently. Arthur is likely to leave the team on loan these days. They wish to fill his place with Jorginho in this case. However Jorginho is an important player for Chelsea now. On one hand he has one year left on his contract as well but Chelsea can still be determined about keeping him for one more season. His value in the market is now 40 million euros. I wonder if Juventus are planning to make a satisfying offer to be able to convince them.

Pogba at this point has two options. Either opt for a surgery, which will put him out of action for two to six months, or undergo therapy that will ensure his return by the end of September. He has made his choice, and will be avoiding the surgery. But I don't know how things will work out in the long run. Pogba has basically gone for a short term fix, for a long term issue. I just hope that the therapy is successful and his (meniscus) injury doesn't get any worse. He shouldn't destroy his career just because he is adamant on participating in Qatar 2022.
I think that this risk is worth being taken for him. Because the World Cup is the biggest tournament in the world. He wouldn't like to miss this as a result. France midfield would be weaker in the absence of him while targeting to win the title. It is really unfortunate that he has got injured very quickly even before the leagues start. He has had serious injuries before too as you know and this situation still goes on. It is heartbreaking to see this kind of talented players to be injury-prone at the same time. |
