That being said θα κάνω ευχαρίστως mining τις πρώτες μέρες απλά για να dumpάρω όποτε εποκτήσει όποια αξία.

Νομίζω αυτό τα λέει όλα. Μην κάνετε όνειρα. Το 99.9% των alt coins είναι μόνο για pre-mine και για pump and dump.
Με λίγη τύχη το edrachma θα μπορούσε να γίνει το επόμενο doge ή quark δηλαδή αλλά τίποτα παραπάνω.

I have tried to warn stunna here
because i think that he's a decent guy that just wants to promote his business without causing to much trouble in the forum.

Unfortunately he didn't listen and now the only ones that keep carrying his signature are spammers with
2-digits activity and 4-digits post count  Embarrassed
83  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.4BTC/month just by posting! - Advertise for PrimeDice.com! *Updated on: December 22, 2013, 05:59:47 AM
There is no such a thing as diminishing returns in gambling advertising.

Gambling is all about whales. Even if you attract 99 players to your site, if you can't lure that one whale then you have pretty much failed.

Yes, there is diminishing returns... If you have 1 person advertising you'll have less reach than 2 people, and so forth, but by the time you get to 10,000 people (hyperbole to prove this point) the 10,000th person will not attract as many people as the 1st person did. There's a reason that companies like Apple while they do flood the market with ads, they don't do it to the point where every single webpage, TV advert and newspaper ad is entirely Apple; it simply isn't cost effective.

Typical spam reply for 0.0002 btc. Thats what i was talking about stunna.

Payment amount has been lowered decently due to extremely high demand, sorry for any inconvenience.

People that carry stunna's signature are treated already like retards and/or get insta-ignored.
I 'm not willing to take that risk for dust.

At least there should have been some concern about sr and hero members and those of us that are promoting the site for months already without getting ignored or accused for trolling/spamming.
I think that soon only people without avatars will be participating in the promotion  Lips sealed

I 'm sorry to say that but i 'm off  Cry

  • You may not advertise any other sites/threads. This includes non-paid for advertisements. You may include other non advertising related. Eg. a quote, your Bitcoin address etc.

Why the new stricter rules? I have a link to a thread i started and it's about a potential scammer in my local community.
It is serious and i don't want to remove it but i also want to enroll for a 4th month to your promo. Can there be some exceptions?
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: lol @ "buying and holding is the best strategy" on: December 17, 2013, 07:41:43 AM
Some people are gonna get fucked so badly in the coming days/weeks.

lol @ daytraders stuck behind a computer all day panicing over the same thing that happens every week for 1 LTC gains. buying & holding doesnt get you fuct, only buying and selling at a loss does.

Actually day traders live for days like this one and they are the only ones that don't panic. Don't judge buy the fud they spread to forums etc to leverage their positions...

Why the "Totally untraceable" comment? What's the context for that?

Maybe by that point in time they got something like zerocoin fully integrated into the bitcoin blockchain =P

I 'm asking if the context is that bitcoin is used by criminals because of features like anonymity
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will she go? on: December 17, 2013, 07:27:39 AM
If the news are true then chinese exchanges will eventually close and the price will crash to pre china levels. Just imagine the headlines if that happens  Roll Eyes

Yeah, those headlines in April were devastating for Bitcoin future too  Grin

The headlines in april were the very first healines in bitcoin's history. Noone had invested money back then anyway.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese feeding frenzy on: December 17, 2013, 07:20:24 AM
Chinos think themselves so 'patient' LOL

What people don't know about is that east asia in general has a lot of gambling problem. HEAVY gambling problem. It's one of the dirty secrets in those societies.

One of the classic scenario for an individual in deep shit within east asian societies is borrowing money from triads/yakuza/mafia types to fund their one-hit-wonder gambling bets. Horse races, scratchers, lottos, sporting bets, etc.

Lot of those fucks lost shit load of money betting on their 1100 dollar bit coins. They better have not borrowed money from their family to pay for them.

Too late...

When the price drops the chinese are gambling addicts that buy bitcoins to gamble.
When it goes up the chinese are hoarders that love gold etc...  Roll Eyes

92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Everything is in the RED on: December 17, 2013, 07:02:42 AM
It's because of bad news keep coming from china and today especially because of an unconfirmed rumor that china banned deposits from banks and payment processors to exchanges. Holidays doesn't help though  Tongue
93  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 2.5BTC with pokerstars $$$ on: December 17, 2013, 07:00:59 AM
I 'm afraid to sell through pokerstars because i think i will gamble everything before withdrawing. That and the violation of their tos of course
94  Other / Off-topic / Re: This Just In: Chinese President Rumored to be replacing Yuan with Bitcoin on: December 17, 2013, 06:58:32 AM
I have a secret source who has a friend who knows the President of China.

He is rumored to have said, during a secret circlejerk, that they will be making Bitcoin the official currency of China.

Yes but you don't have your news on the front page of coindesk...
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next bitcoin boom phase will be driven by ANTARCTICA on: December 17, 2013, 06:57:53 AM
It's more possible to be driven by antarctica than india...  Tongue
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why didn't you sell? on: December 17, 2013, 06:45:06 AM
So did you guys sell this time?  Roll Eyes

I think you should wait a little more before start yelling "i told you so".

Why wait?

I don't get it....

Wait for the rumor to confirm at least... And so far it isn't confirmed.
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 06:43:44 AM
Can you deposit money to btcchina?

Yes you can - via direct bank transfer.

Ok then why btcchina doesn't make an announcement so we can finally get some sleep  Tongue
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea now talking positively about bitcoin on: December 17, 2013, 06:40:06 AM
Still i 'll wait from an official announcement from psy  Cool
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for Today's Crash: China Bans Bitcoin Payment Processors on: December 17, 2013, 06:36:55 AM
I'm in China and speak Chinese:

  • The BTC website is still accepting payments from my bank
  • I called them and they told me that withdrawals are still happening and I can withdraw FIAT.  My guess is that they are cash rich as people putting money in there and withdrawing it overseas.
  • Great arbitrage ops at the moment

Call them again and ask them to make an announcement in the front page and clarify the situtation.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 51% attack problem, are there any solutions to it? on: December 17, 2013, 06:32:04 AM
A government has many tools to attack bitcoin if they want. A 51% attack isn't one of those  Roll Eyes

I am well aware that it is not the first recourse. But most of those other methods will not completely eliminate it, especially if facing hyper inflation. It would be illegal but it would thrive just like alcohol or drug under various prohibitions.
If such a situation occurs where the currency has already been deemed illegal and is purely an underground thing in a "communist utopia" the a 51% attack might be resorted to simply because there is no defense against it.

One thing that's for sure if they try to pull of such a stunt is that they 'll realize how annoying pre orders are  Tongue
