81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an outstanding name for token\coin bring success? on: February 26, 2018, 09:56:40 PM
Recently espied the project named spacetrump and also a token named penis Shocked Therefore I'd like to get some comments - can some extraordinary (or just plain weird) name for token\coin affect its popularity and further success, what do you think?
Morelikey not a big factor to a coin's success, but it still good to have a decent and eye catcher name because most of the investors wont invest to your coin if the name itself sounds scammy like SPONSY that is ine campaign soinds fonzi, but it is really depends on the whole project, the name might be a little factor but it wont affect the whole development, even if the market has good name but poor developers there will be no chance for these coins to achieve success.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: February 25, 2018, 07:34:13 PM
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards

EDIT:

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

That couldnt be fixed, because the cryptocurrencies are volatile, that is why you cannot say it is $1k ,and it is depends on the bounty quality if the project wont achieve success you arent going to have your stakes, most of the time they wont pay you because the the ICO has failed and it could waste your time,on the other hand if the campaign achieved success you will be rewarded good.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins on: February 25, 2018, 07:31:53 PM
I dont want to be rude, but asking random people which is which is bad habbit because different people will have different point of views, the best thing you can to do is to do your own research, read whitepapers of each coins so you would know which coins would give you a lot of money in the future, its your money not ours and someone might suggest you a shitcoin so you need to know it by yourself.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth rising while BTC falling **** on: February 25, 2018, 07:29:21 PM
ETHEREUM is now rising again at a full speed. while Bitcoin fell 1.500 USD in just less than 48 hours.
What is the reason why Bitcoin fell and why Ethreum is gaining its value again?

i do have some Ethereum and i will keep holding this till it reaches the 1.000 USD again! how about you?
Because most of the people started to realize that ethereum has more stable price movements than bitcoin, that is why most of the investors are putting their money to ethereum insted, bitcoin's drama has a lot of manipulations from these big players that is why these investors wants to have a safe haven which in this case ethereum.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will be a millionare by the end of the year on: February 23, 2018, 06:51:18 PM
One wrong move and you are done,i dont recommend putting all your money in just one project because if that project has failed its a game over for you.If you are really a good trader you know that its a risky move to put all your funds in just one coin, there will be some time that your luck wont work tell me what will you do when you lose 90% of your portfolio? how would you recover from that ?
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do advisers in ICO really do? on: February 23, 2018, 06:46:59 PM
Advisors as far as i know are the people who are deciding which are the best thing that the team should do,strategy makers, financial managements, and development managements are the most common things they are doing, they can be called as the BRAIN of the whole project, they will decide how the whole team will develop, and they are the main key for the ICO's success.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum Classic's existance necessary? on: February 21, 2018, 06:51:50 PM
Personally, I struggle to see what is new that Ethereum Classic offers?

What sets it apart from the other more technologically advanced coins out there that are being worked on from ground up; such as Cardano, EOS, etc. and those already with actual real-world adoption such as Stellar Lumens, or Litecoin?

Will Ethereum Classic be as scalable? Or will it have the same issues as Ethereum once the network becomes just as busy?
ETC or ethereum classic is the original coin of ethereum network, people are misinformed that ETC is a forked coin of ethereum which is in fact the opposite.I dont really see any big difference with the ethereum classic to the ethereum because they are created in the same code which is the ethereum's code created by Vitalik,if ETC wont resolve the shortcomings of ethereum it will just end just like what ethereum's network today.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: February 21, 2018, 06:47:39 PM
I am familiar with people who also participate in generosity companies. Some of them do not rush to sell received Tokines, others on the contrary, immediately after the issue of tokens the exchange is sold. My friend advised me to send them to EtherDelta. When receiving tokens, place orders for the sale of x2 - x10 (depending on the project) and just wait until they are purchased.
What do you do with the received tokens?
I am a patient man,so i would be holding most of the tokens that i have received from the bounties i participated in,because i believe that these tokens would have much value in the future which really depends on the developer team if they are doing good to follow their roadmap surely a time will come that these tokens would be worth as much as gold.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin? on: February 20, 2018, 05:09:26 PM
if you want suggetion i think NXT, now prices per coins is very cheap, but in the future nxt have potential to growing up again in this year.
You are suggesting NXT because you have bought it at very high price and now you can't sell it without loosing some money. I don't see bright future for NXT and I don't think investing in nxt is good decision.
Instead of asking random people which coin to invest you can start reading every single whitepaper of these coins in the coinmarketcap so you would have a good idea which is good to hold for long term, investments needs a lot of things to conisider it isnt that buying at the dip and selling at the peak, consider the upcoming news and developments of the coin too.
Get used to it, people are always asking financial advises in wrong place. Most people will suggest coin which they own because they want to sell it at higher price.
I know right, people will only tell this boy to buy the coins which they are trapped so they can get out when they have the chance, personally i do believe in my own point of view that is why i am reading 2-3 whitepapers everyday, taking note the imporant imformations in each coin because i dont want to miss any good coin that can give me a lot of money in the future, researching would be the best thing to do if you want o achieve success in your investments.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto day trading is more stressful than I thought! on: February 19, 2018, 06:50:23 PM
If you know what you are doing you wont be stressed,i am doing marginal trading and it requires a lot of patience. You need to have years of technical analysis so you could achieve success in trading technical analysis can be learned in just few months but the experience and the instinct you need might be hard to achieve.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much real money did you seriously make with Altcoins? on: February 19, 2018, 06:47:08 PM
I am talking flat currency!! Real money in your bank account that you can/could use....not coins!!...to pay debts, buy a car...One specific example
1- What was the coin
2- How much did you invest
3- How much real money did you transfer in your bank account
I have purchased ethereum when it was $11 and neo when it was less than a dollar,i only invested $10k 2years ago them i hold these bags for about 1.5years and i could say it changed my life, from nothing i have millions of dollars today,i opened small businesses in my town that can support my monthly bills, and i do full time trading today which gave me 10-15% daily average gain,i have also mining rigs which gives me some passive extra income while i am asleep, doing a full time here in cryptocurrency is better than working 8hrs a day with the companies which gives you little a to nothing which isnt worth.

10-15% daily gains? Yeah... Right... After only a year you would be the richest man on earth. And furthermore with that mount of volume you have some serious liquidity issues.
LOL dont be a fool,it is very possible i am doing margin trading and 100% is very possible in just a couple of hours, you should do a lot of research a lot of people are making thousands of dollars in just few minutes, you can signup to bitmex if you want to try maginal trading.People who doesnt know anything would have the same impression like yours. 92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ripple bad/corrupt? on: February 18, 2018, 08:52:09 PM
People hate the banking system and centralization that is why most of the people choose cryptocurrencies, that is why XRP is being hated so much because the bankers who created XRP adopted the banking system to XRP's structural system,so it will be more centralized than any coin in the market plus the supply is pre mined not unlike other coins that you need to mine using rigs.,centralization was the main problem but XRP has been kissing the banker's ass that is why most of the people wont and will never support this coin.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram ICO is real or fake? on: February 18, 2018, 08:49:10 PM
Hi guys, You can there is a website ton.fund which is rugging ICO for telegram GRAM token (as claimed by the website) User don't have to create an account it can be done through telegram username so it appears like real ICO.
BUT
there is not much info on the internet about it. There are articles stating that its a scam also no authentic info from telegram. Please let me know your opinion on this.

Its just a rumour from the past which was created by these speculations but morelikely telegram wont do any ICO,because if they will surely they will announce it to the public which hasnt happened so this rumour will remain as rumour until the official statement of TELEGRAM has released which is undoubtly going to happen.

Telegram is doing an ICO in real life.

But there are also many scammers who are trying to say they are Telegram and spreading fakes. Stay away from anything that is not official because they will scam you.
Can you support your claim if you have any proofs that telegram has doing an ICO?  Grin
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin: 7 Facts to Know Before the Split on: February 16, 2018, 02:20:56 PM
Not scam?
This surely a scam Charlie Lee the founder of Litecoin twitted there will be no litecoin fork from his team, and anyone who claim that they are litecoin's fork are scams, stay away and research carefully.Follow Charlie Lee on twitter and you will know the truth these people are only using LTC's name for them to scam a lot of people.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: February 15, 2018, 06:09:05 PM
I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
You need to do a lot of research in how to pick good ICOs ove these bunch of scammy ICOs,if you know how to pick these potential ICOs im sure picking bounties would me much easier than for you,not all good campaigns will pay your bounties and not all small bounties wont pay you,you need to research the founder's and developers background.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: February 15, 2018, 05:58:37 PM
If you are confident with the project that it can grow potentially to the fullest in the future, the best thing to do is to hold until the develoepers has fully developed the coins, which may take a couple of months or even a year so then the price of your tokens would be huge x100 or more would be possible so i suggest every bounty hunters to hold these bounties for longer.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am now back at a net profit!!! :D Woopie! [My final portfolio] on: February 14, 2018, 05:48:01 PM
After having finalized my portfolio, selling all my BTC into the following coins just before the whole cryptomarket (that have been trading side-ways for awhile) have turned bullish again:

Primarily
1) NEO
2) Stellar (XLM)
3) LiteCoin (LTC)
4) OmiseGo (OMG)
5) Cardano (ADA)

Secondnary
1) EOS
2) QTUM
3) Waves
3) Ether (ETH)
4) TRON (TRX)
5) Monero (XRM)
6) VeChain (VEN)
7) AirSwap (AST)

Tertiary (< 200USD investments)
Ripple (XRP), Lisk (LSK), Ark, ICON, Quantstamp (QSP), DigiByte (DGB), Gulden (NLG), SysCoin (SYS), BlackCoin (BLK) ... etc etc.. just in case any of these explodes due to speculative reasons.

------

For those who have bought significantly during the dip, what is your portfolio atm? Please share them here. Smiley

I bought bitcoin, ethereum, neo, omg and ada from the dip and after the market has recovered i immediately sold the coins which i bought from the dip giving me an instant 150% of my portfolio.Buying at the dip is thes best thing to do when a bloodbath happens because the altcoins are very cheap than their normal prices.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MY FIRST BOUNTY EXPERIENCE! on: February 14, 2018, 05:41:48 PM
This is trash!...you are right there is no rule restricting participants of posting in a single discussion board for the whole week?i have checked the posts of the hero participant and it seems that he is posting low quality posts you have better posts than this one,the best thing to do is to find a better campaign which the above users advise you to do,check the campaign manager credibility so you wont encounter any of these shit managers in the future.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: February 13, 2018, 04:49:51 PM
I'm sorry for all the ones looking for speculations, this is not the purpose of the thread. I want to hear from the community about which coins will be making a difference in our world over the next few years.
Stop asking random people which is which,do your own homework researching would be the best thing to do because your investment is your responsibility. If we know which coin would be good in the future why would tell anyone about it?and we are not a fortune teller at all.Investments needs a lot of time to be spent on researching so you wont be wasting your money into worthless projects or coins.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: February 13, 2018, 04:43:10 PM
I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##
It is really depends on your needs, you are right if the boutny hunters needs to have some cash to support his needs probably the best thing to do is to cashout when the stakes are distributed already. On the other hand if you are good in waiting the best thing to do is to hold your tokens and wait for a couple of months because surely these tokens would have more value in the future.
