It is your call. I really hope that you might turn out to be extra-ordinarily lucky, and might be able to gamble back your investment without much trouble. This put a smile on my face and made any of my losses not really matter because i came to terms with them and will not chase my losses if you do as the guy above it will not end up good. You will chase and lose more and more until you have nothing left to chase with that is what happens the majority of the time and someone hoping different for you does not matter. Your best bet is to work and earn the money back to pay debts etc i lost about the same on one experience (own fault) and earned it back threw work if i would have gambled i would lose everything as 95% do, good luck finding it back to reality.. Discuss how much you have lost and how.
Oh the pain that i feel when i think about it lol! I have lost around 25btc for several reasons, I’ve lost at least 10btc on gambling! I have had my computer crash without a back up in my early days in BTC Another 12 BTC I have been scammed by altcoins and in the digital goods 'my fault not using escrow' I have earned about that back from trading and getting lucky on a few alt coins but still not nice remembering you could have that extra if you would have used your brain. That reminds me of my original bitcoin investment and how i lost it. I had an old Dell duocore laptop i used to cold storage my bitcoins. i have two laptops at the time, the one i still have and the one i had then. i had a laptop baggy foreach. identical bags, with a front pouch. in one of the pouches, i kept a usb drive with a text file of all the private keys for my cold storage addresses. just in case that something happened to my cold storage laptop. I was storing approximately 325 btc on this cold storage computer. i bought at less than 3 dollars a coin, so thats not a huge investment. Now here's what happened: A supposed friend showed up early one morning and asked if he could borrow my computer. i said sure, just take it to the living room and surf, but i'm going back to sleep. when i woke up, my pc was sitting on my desk, but my cold storage laptop was gone along with its carrying case. When they caught the guy, he was high on crak, having traded my laptop for about 25 dollars worth of crack. he never rolled on his dealer, and to this day i wonder what happened to my bitcoins and my laptop. If i would have had that pc when bitcoin hit its high of $1150 a coin, i would be a fairly wealthy man right now. Later on the guy apologized to me "You had two laptops bro, i figured you wouldn't miss the old one much" was his excuse. That's an insane story... Not even lying... I mean... wow. That's why I don't store those amounts of coins on real computers, but rather in paper wallets that are distributed safely in different places  Don't have that much, anyways, though... Oh wow! What are the chances of that so sorry to hear that makes my loss seem irrelevant, sad times indeed! The crappy thing you just know that the dealer or whoever he sold it to had no idea that the coins was on there so they are lost forever. I bet that hurt when the price when to 1000+ i would be tempted to take him hostage and make him get it back for $500+ but gather it was long gone by then  Did you manage to build up some coin again before the bubble? |

I have been scammed by altcoins and in the digital goods 'my fault not using escrow' I have earned about that back from trading and getting lucky on a few alt coins but still not nice remembering you could have that extra if you would have used your brain. |

Has the community ever gotten together and save a coin before? What about these guys that might come in and fix it? This coin may as well just be left to join the others in the crypto junk yard, 10,000%stake no dev and very small amount of community members means this coin is not going past another month and will be at 1 satoshi by then i am sure. It is a shame because this coin did have some hope before someone turned up to the party pretending to be a hero. |

So far, i have gambled less than 1 BTC (total wagered so far) And, mostly i'm gambling for fun only Luckily, i'm still on profit (maybe because i'm small gambler  ) This is good and it makes sure you don't lose everything like some people do because they think they will get rich from it when they lose self control. Gambling can indeed be fun if you have the control i had been like that until last week then out of the blue i end up gambling over a bitcoin in one day which all started because of a 0.1btc loss. Normally i would walk away but i chased my losses and ended up losing 10x more lol Needless to say i am finished with it for awhile. OP i with that loss i have only gambled about 4btc in over a year and most of that i had fun it was just last week where the problem started. |

So you have been going a year and you are up 6bitcoin after all them games am i getting this right? That is not good records and that if i am honest is a total waste of time. The guys whose thread you crashed has 8+bitcoin wins after a few games so really don't do things like that anymore, especially when someone like me gives you a chance and clicks the link they come to this  |

What will happen to your Bitcoins when you die, will they be lost forever?
I feel that this is something that is overlooked by most Bitcoin users.
Do any of you have a system in place to allow loved-ones to access your funds when you pass on? What is the best way to do this? please share your wisdom in this thread.
I will be honest a little while ago i got very ill and had this concern so i taught my partner how to use bitcoin and open the wallet transfer to localbitcoin and make a deal, luckily i trust her with everything of me so i don't need to worry about her ripping me off and also i am still here so alls well that ends well. I think multisignature wallets could be good to set up so out of 3 you/partner/child 2 will work to release the funds. This should be worked on but BitHalo is s very good start for this scenario. |

I use google authenticator and will continue doing so for as long as it is safe and as easy to use as it is, never needed support i save my key so if anything ever happens to my phone i can still get on the site to change the 2fa. Super quick and easy to use i have not needed to look else where because in my honest opinion it is the best and you shouldn't try fix something that isn't broke. #1

I think it's unreal to sell Sr. Member account even for 0.4 BTC. I created an auction for selling my Sr. Member account with start price only 0.2 and nobody has been interested in it.
I've seen senior accounts sell for ~0.4 btc so it's not unreasonable to expect that amount, just depends on the amount of sig campaigns, btc price etc Seems to be a lot of members selling their accounts at the moment so it's probably not the best time to be selling them. What you have likely seen is a 'high rank' senior account sell for that maybe 420+activity not a 280 activity that has only a just above spammy post history, you run the risk of an account like that being banned when it finally joins a campaign and then if you have another account that to, if not and you don't realise it has been banned and then post you will get ban evasion or possible perma ban. Also the account is now known so never are you getting more than 0.2btc i would close the thread if you would not consider that. I think it's unreal to sell Sr. Member account even for 0.4 BTC. Trading right now is free BTCGetting BTC for days and days  adacadabra and what? Is that on Bter? If that is you are crazy ya should never put coin on there again that site is beyond bad and is waiting for another occurrence like what happened recently. That exchange should just closed down or sell up to trusted people who can give people a little faith back in it. I have made some funds gambling but that is bad news in the long run and i don't always make profit but i have today and i will have a break this week end and not push my luck. |
