181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make money with Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2015, 12:28:19 PM
Altcoins are usually not what I would call an investment, but the short-term trading can be exciting and very profitable.

Could explain a investment to me then please because i am confused  Huh

I see an investment as investing x amount of money into anything where by i expect to get a return and i ie i invest into a 'altcoin' in the hope i can grow my bankroll.

I invested into the new/old coin and made a return so my investment was a good one   Roll Eyes
182  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do we destroy ISIS an co? on: March 07, 2015, 12:25:19 PM
Cut the money source.
If they don't have money, they can't grow strong.

Thats a very hard thing to do, as they have anonymous donators, along with that, they always get way through, by asking for ransom from the government.

Dude the only places you see asking to donate to them scumbags are scambags trying to scam, not Isis these guys take country's and then run them in a cruel way yes but they do run them. They are in the middle east taking oil fields an i have seen somewhere making 3 million a day just from oil do you really think donators make a difference? Not sure you have seen one kidnap asking for ransom you have only seen kidnap =head off no money involved because they have enough until people stop buying oil which they obviously will not so them are the same people with blood on their hand black and red blood..
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have USD 2000 to invest. Should I buy Bitcoins or gold? on: March 07, 2015, 12:21:09 PM
I have USD 2000 to invest. Should I buy Bitcoins or gold?

what you  prefer can hold upto 1 year

It is all risk reward isint it? Bitcoin to me would be the biggest risk for obvious reasons where gold would be a good time to buy ith a smaller risk because it is physical and has held its value for hundreds of years, Bitcoin is also at a low but with a much greater chance of maximum profit for risk involved, the question is do you want a high risk possible high return or do you want something safe and a possible low return, it is what it i my friend only you decide this.
184  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ‘Selfie Trend’ Officially Declared a 'mental disorder' on: March 07, 2015, 12:15:31 PM
The thing is not many confess to have a mental disorder to begin with anyway lol but also if like me there are alot of people in bitcoin who dislikes social media and gave that crap up awhile ago, this fro what i witnessed is a majority of females who do this (no offense chicks) but it is. There is a cure for it just stop using social media for a few weeks job done.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can anyone confirm who's BTC address this is on: March 07, 2015, 12:11:08 PM
was going through the block chain and found a odd address with around 80 thousand dollars in transactions daily was just wondering if anyone knows if this is an exchange or something...
1KYXrw4Ftkmomfs4iyVXUSqQeRX75Unoi8

Is $80,000 really such a massive amount to send and receive imo no it is not it is not peanuts by all means but could quite easily be just a normal trader sending his coins to the exchange to trade everyday because we do not leave them on exchanges for long do we? Well those who value their coin do not lol So not sure anyone is going to know unless it is their address Smiley
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make money with Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2015, 11:58:15 PM
Do you invest? Or do you mine? Or do you trade? Or do you just hold your bitcoins?

I invested roughly half my btc investment into altcoins and now i have managed to gain back the original half invested into altcoins, so for the last few months i have been freerolling even with a few coins taking a dump on me  Shocked Grin

There are obviously more ways to make more but i have yet to gain the adventurist mentality and risk it for a biscuit, i might go into loaning soon have been thinking about that recently.

Good luck with your future plans
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCPoint Creates 10,000 Bitcoin-Enabled ATMs Using Spanish Bank Network on: March 06, 2015, 11:41:15 PM
BTC at normal ATMs. 1-2 years ago some of us expected this to happen, now it is real  Smiley

This is awesome news the connections made between BTCpoint and the Spanish banks is leading the way now we just need to increase it worldwide in the coming years which i have no doubts about it will.

Just a 1% fee as well you cannot moan at that can ya? Loving the idea and actually a little surprised the banks are seeing the potential and working with instead of against  Huh

I guess they are where ever there is money to be made lol
188  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptovpn.me Signature Campaign | What you do online is your business. on: March 06, 2015, 11:29:38 PM
Are you going to use escrow to guarantee that everyone will get their payment if they make he required number of posts? Without it I don't think you will be able to get man people to join no matter how much you pay

He has been on for the hours since i post and has either missed the post 'unlikely' or ignored so i have to ask why would he ignore perfectly valid questions/worries for those who join.

He now has a respected member asking and painting the picture so i hope he sorts it out before anyone signs up  Undecided

If you follow threw with what is being asked you will more than likely have a successful campaign so happy days.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Kind Reminder: on: March 06, 2015, 11:15:18 PM
Bitcoin is only an experiment, please don't invest more than you can afford to lose.

The thing is if people understood this and actually listened to it instead of greed then they would be much more happy and less focused on price, also there would be a lot less angry people trolling around because they would not have lost more than they could afford to lose. That is a reminder some needed nice one OP
190  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [HOT] Multiply Your Bitcoin After 25 Confirmations on: March 06, 2015, 10:19:50 PM

191  Economy / Speculation / Re: To become a whale... on: March 06, 2015, 07:33:20 PM
...how many bitcoins do you need to possess? Just curious what people's thoughts are.
If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

That is a good one.

On a sidenote 5000-10000 btc makes you definietly a serious player Smiley

From all the answers that's the good one, really?

The thing is it does not answer the question so how is that a good one exactly?

OP never asks how many because he wants to be one,(Just curious what people's thoughts are.) is what was said..
192  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptovpn.me Signature Campaign | What you do online is your business. on: March 06, 2015, 07:23:38 PM
For being a month i would really advise people to ask for escrow that is a long working period to trust a new account. OP will you show your btc wallet with a signed message and accept escrow?

193  Economy / Speculation / Re: To become a whale... on: March 06, 2015, 07:09:01 PM
...how many bitcoins do you need to possess? Just curious what people's thoughts are.

To become a BTC whale it would be hard to guess but i would go with 10,000 - 50,000 that is a lot of dollar to have rapped up in a volatile investment. imo of course.

But.. If you want to be a whale with alt coins that can be done for much less like just 100 btc will move most coins..
194  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: SELL FOR 2.000 $ - 10 BTC - ONLY SERIOUS BUYER on: March 06, 2015, 06:51:14 PM
I have a Fresh BlockChain Wallet with 10 BTC and i am looking to sell all of them. I send the BTC first to a verified or serious buyer.
First part as been said many times. They will NOT send first or use escrow. It's posted to avoid negative feedback right away making it easier to get people who don't know better to send first.

Thanks for the heads up, I did think along them lines so i commented to hopefully let anyone who would have fell for it see before losing out. at least no one gets scammed and it does not look like he will pull this off this time. cheers  Smiley
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 06, 2015, 02:09:58 PM
Going all in could indeed prove to be a rewarding strategy, and the great German philosophers such as Nietzsche, Kant, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle would perhaps agree.

No going all in would not be a good idea at the moment, it would have a month ago at early 200's but not now the most rewarding strategy now is to wait for the drop 'patience' and then hold until another little bubble, we are not going over 300 so where is the reward..
196  Economy / Economics / Re: pump and dump on: March 06, 2015, 01:53:54 PM
I love a good pump dump as many others do but at the same time people can get hurt in them if they dont know what their doing. Most pump dumps cause nothing but problems or end up killing the coin off.

I am a lover of the old pumps we all should be as it has made the price of bitcoin where it is today, people should never invest more than they can afford to lose that is the number one rule and if they stuck with that they would not get hurt per say obviously would not be nice but that's the game they chose to play so unlucky lol. The only pumps that cause problems are those done by really greedy groups who have no intention of pumping that coin again 'most' pumps leave the coin in better shape than they started i know the ones i have been involved in have. Good luck my little pumpers  Cheesy
197  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit-x wants a phone number to sign-up? on: March 06, 2015, 01:20:31 PM
If I use a real phone number are they automatically going to call?
Is there a phone "verification" every time you withdraw funds?

// sorry if it's a duplicate topic, didn't see a thread title match....

EDIT:
It has to be a cell phone, what If I don't want/have one?

I have been with them for a few months and have received no calls or 'unsolicited' texts from them it is just used as your 2fa and to sign in to your account.
Already been answered i missed  Undecided

If you do not have a sell phone or want to use i am sure i have read that they are going to allow email verification in the near future but i really do not see a problem with an exchange having my number they are legit.
198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino Affiliate Programs on: March 06, 2015, 12:23:15 PM
You got a red trust because you asked for a loan with no collateral in a post of a guy giving loans with no collateral?

Nope why not read his trust?

A snap shot of part of it,

(I shit you not... this is over affiliate pay that he is now not paying. Roughly a bitcent or some crazy low shit.)

Seems legit,

Let me join let me join  Grin

It says: newbie asking for loan with no collateral

??

I see what you mean because you never aimed that question at anyone, pocket replied to you and stupidly i assumed you was talking to him but now i see you was speaking to the OP and yes what the trust rating say are usually true. Newbies should not ask for loans with no collateral for obvious reasons so the guy who gave him the trust was to help others not get scammed etc
199  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: SELL FOR 2.000 $ - 10 BTC - ONLY SERIOUS BUYER on: March 06, 2015, 12:14:36 PM
Show proof of the address with 50 BTC by signing a message.

This ^^ and add to your post you will accept escrow or you will send first to trusted members and keep to it!

I could bet you will not sign a message and you get tagged red within an hour or two..

EDIT. OP updated and reduce the 50btc that was advertised (Typo) and added trusted.

200  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you play this game? on: March 06, 2015, 12:09:11 PM
To be honest, i think the game is boring & unrealistic
Red, yellow & green light have different time how long they light up

But, if each color have different multiplier.
I think this game will be more interesting

The idea of the game does look boring and unrealistic but the thing is with a true gambler they really do not care lol

I have friends who will flick a coin for £100's or the one who throws a coin closes to the wall wins  Shocked Grin

It is true and you are right about the multiplier that would give the gambler the thrill they seek and you would get players = Op do not let anyone put you off just listen and improve!

Good luck
