If you love STR and want it to skyrocket, please take the time to vote on public roadmap of stellar. There are many new great things are being developed :
- Refactor Facebook giveaway
- Facebook security heuristics and implementation
- Wallet v2 with Time-based One Time Password

Vote here : https://github.com/stellar/stellar-client#public-roadmap

It's your turn now to change the future of STR.

Here is the latest update from Joyce / SDF :

Howdy all. Hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween!

We posted this in our last blog post but wanted to make sure everyone knows that you can now vote on roadmap items. We wanted a clear and public feedback loop so integrated it with our Trello - so go for it:)

https://github.com/s...#public-roadmap

There is also a "Community Contribution" board there for things non-developers can do to help contribute. Thanks!

thx for the link

Wallet Vé is the most important IMHO

Now lets pass this bitshares shady coin, the bitcoin copycat and the XRP semi-scam !

Payment received, many thanks !
counting for next week
post count 656

PS: is it allowed to post on other languages sub-forum ? (and of course not count those posts in the total)

I'd say it is allowed, since it's not forbidden. Why would you not count such posts in total? If they're constructive - they should count.

Ok I thought it was forbidden but it's in another sig campagin I've previously done. Thx for the answer

92  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: November 11, 2014, 03:49:46 PM
I've searched without succes an answer to my question :

If my phone is stolen, how fast an attacker can crack my PIN and spend my coins ? Is there a fastest way for an attacker to grab my seed (or the private key of non HD addresses)

Could the bip 39 mnemonic backup be imported in electrum, or a web wallet to quickly salvage to coins before the thief gets access to them ?

94  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Justcoin · Secure Bitcoin Exchange from Norway (BTC/EUR/USD) on: November 11, 2014, 10:00:55 AM
I tried to connect and saw my account suspended. Could someone else confirm this is the case for everyone or did I just received a specail treatment becasue I was asking questions and not ball licking them like the BTC sheep crowd ?

They only let half the withdrawals pass through, the other half got royally buttfucked. In my country, legal prosecution does not include this sort of things, so i'm basically screwed for my 600$. I'm trying to see if there are any other people, there are some but they don't really care since all their money was "free" (stellar giveaway), I gathered all of my money from there too, so that's why I myself aren't that much hasty about this, but it still was MY money they took away.

I bought the STR they took me. There is no such thing as free money. As soon as it has market value, it's not free anymore.

I'm still waiting for an answer of this scumbags... looks like they took away with the cash !
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: November 11, 2014, 08:59:34 AM
Where can we buy Storj except Polo?
We are talking with some other exchanges. We expect to have 1-2 more soonish.

https://bittrex.com is a good choice, many guys use this exchange and fell well.

bittrex avoid all bitcoin 2.0 assets.

What is the reasoning behind Bittrex avoiding the "assets"?
http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/

Transaction fees also are relatively high and they are worried that they will be making very little profit if users were to withdraw small amounts in great numbers. For example if someone has 10,000 SJCX on an exchange and starts withdrawing them 1 SJCX at the time the Tx fees cost could spiral pretty high. A way around that would be to set higher withdraw fees on the exchange itself.

I believe more exchanges will come sooner or later. It's just a question of time and them realizing the utility of SJCX and its possible popularity when our apps are released. There may be also some technical concerns with the implementation of XCP assets on their platforms. I didn't see PoloniEx having issues adding SJCX or XCP and they are doing a pretty good job. Counterparty/Counterwallet APIs are available on GitHub and I believe they are keen on helping out exchanges with implementation too.

This makes no sense. You could easily force min withdrawals amount on those assets. Meanwhile, it looks like XCP and coutnerparty assets have nice trading volume on poloniex since several weeks, so it must be profitable for busoni.
96  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 4 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX on: November 11, 2014, 08:42:26 AM
So I have asked Havelock to go to Cryptx and ask to update us on the reinvestment funds...

That was the answer: "At the moment there are no SCRYPT equipment on the market effecient enough to purchase .  They continue to look at all options."

What do you guys think?

I think it's accurate.

The mining market has been a loser's market for quite a while, we might need to wait some time to get into the profit zone again.

I think profit zone with CryptX is in an alternate reality. Good luck with getting the reinvest "fund" back without the help of legal authorities, which I'll call as soon as I have assembled different proofs.

97  Other / Meta / Re: ICOs are the toxic waste of this community. Let's get them banned! on: November 11, 2014, 08:38:49 AM
I blame investors, not people who're behind those scams.
It's all about greed. There have been more than 100 scams in 1 year but people still don't see that even those "PODs" are useless.
Anyone can get a fake ID and fake bills on deep web.

We should educate people how to keep their money, instead of being scammed.

Yeah, the problem is also that if look at IPO like it was a ponzi, you can actaully profit from it during a short time after the end of the IPO. there is often (but less often now as many have been burned over the months) a small perdio of time where the price of the coin or the asset gains between 10% and 50%

Great site, do you manage to be profitable with only 0,1% house edge ?
We thought that when winrate is 54% , house edge will 0.1%.  But , as you know, winrate of the latest transaction is 55~58%. So our house edge is  minus now.
So we are thinking how we will do.
Thank  you

Ok, I hope your new strategy will not include running with users founds Wink
