81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum the future of cryptocurrencies. on: October 11, 2018, 06:13:50 PM
ICOs have ruined ETH, they played a major part in its rise to fame pushing the price up, I think what we see now is ETH coming back to a level it is more comfortable.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin bring an end to Paypal? on: October 11, 2018, 06:11:29 PM
In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?
PayPal is far too embedded into everyday life that it will take a long time before anything replaces it, it would need something catastrophic to happen to PayPal before bitcoin got a look in.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% Im sure no one here cannot tolerate not visiting Portfolio for monitoring on: October 11, 2018, 06:18:48 AM
I think you are right, I can not go a whole day without checking Blockfolio at least a couple of times which is good going as I used to be crazy and checked it far too much.

Especially now with the way the market is there is no need to check as often.
84  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not successful trading. Lost $2k on: October 11, 2018, 05:59:48 AM
Hello, guys!

I tried to trade crypto a bit, but after loosing around $2k decided that it would probably be better if I give my money to someone who really knows that he is doing...

And I found a "well-known" trader on Youtube who said "just give me API keys from your binance account and watch for your profit". I will need to pay a commission from my profits to him for managing my account on monthly basis.

And here is my questions:
1. Is it a common practice to give professionals manage your account on exchanges via API?
2. What are usual conditions for that cooperation?
3. How can I check that his REAL profitability equals DECLARED profitability?
I don't think this is the best idea, giving anyone access to your api even if you disable the ability to withdraw is not advisable.  The loss you have had is the same story most other crypto users can identify with, it is how your u learn.

It's like those people selling books on how to get rich, if it really works why the hell are they having to sell books to make money.

I would rather lose my money than have someone else lose it for me.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: October 10, 2018, 05:13:36 PM
It's been a while since I bought into an ICO, the last one was RCC Reality flash and that has been in development ever since, the decent ones will take time but there are so many scams about it is hard to see through all the mud.

People will always invest in them in the hope of finding that golden nugget.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: (AIRDROP) Lux Ant Digital Worth $100,000 on: October 09, 2018, 09:19:04 PM
Lol it is October now by the way, August was a good while ago.
87  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in provably cheating on: October 09, 2018, 09:07:30 PM
I would suggest reaching out to them and inform them of your findings and their response will tell you if they are being sly or if it is a genuine bug.  They have so far seemed legitimate and one of the longest faucets around, I hope it's a bug they're unaware of.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 great coins to invest now on: October 09, 2018, 08:23:52 PM
Here are two other coins ADK & ARO seeing as we are playing this game 😁 and I think there are lots of things happening with these two that should peak people's  interest.
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top Most 5 profitable alt coins or tokens on: October 09, 2018, 05:17:23 PM
It is very hard to know when and which coins will do well.  I would add ADK to your list as they have a lot going on right now and has made me happy in the past.

Also ARO are about to get listed on Cryptopia and is only 10% the price it was before it had exchange issues, this could be one to watch.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did we get what we asked for - less Bitcoin volatility? on: October 09, 2018, 06:53:22 AM
I know, it is hard time imagine just a short while ago checking your portfolio was exciting but now it has been stables for what seems to  be a long long time.

There are still altcoins for those wanting volatility but even altcoins seem to have stagnated.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buterin is preparing to leave Ethereum. on: October 08, 2018, 09:16:56 PM
There are others involved with ETH although he would no longer be the face of it I am sure he will stay involved somewhat behind the scenes just like Charlie Lee and Litecoin.

Where is the source of this announcement?
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum vanish? on: October 08, 2018, 05:03:17 PM
I know that this year is quite odd when it comes to crypto curriences. My main concern is Ethereuem. I know that in almost year ago the max price was 1.200$. So i am really cheering for comeback on the some discent values..
ETH was very much boosted by the huge amount of ICOs we saw taking place, it was a frenzy and I believe that is what pushed it as high as it went.

Not to say it will not get back to that level but I wouldn't bank on my t anytime soon.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tomorrow is now. on: October 08, 2018, 04:54:54 PM
I think we are going to have to wait a good few years until bitcoin becomes fully mainstream, we are still in the early days, last December was just a taste of what it could do.

Patience is key in this game.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We trust in crypto! on: September 25, 2018, 04:38:13 PM
I took a little break from here for a while hoping that when I came back we would have seen bitcoin at an ath and I would be quite wealthy.

Sadly this is.not the case and I am missing the forum and cannot afford to wait around forever.

In response to the OP, I think we have a little while yet but soon we will hopefully be rewarded for holding for so long.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook now joining btc? on: August 07, 2018, 05:42:21 PM
I think facebook is going to become a thing of the past pretty soon, now they are talking about integrating bank information about their users .
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: August 02, 2018, 06:08:44 PM
It's a Very Struggling time for Cryptocurrencies. The Market Goes down approx 10 to 15 Percent. Bitcoin Drop down $7k, On the other Hand, Ethereum goes down $400.
Kind of wish I never sold my ETH when it reached $40, something I tend to do a lot, it's hard to have patience in this game but the patient ones get the rewards.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the market will recover and get back on Green?? on: August 02, 2018, 06:06:32 PM
I thought this year was going to be the year but just as it seems to be turning it goes back the other way, coins I thought would soar have been stuck in stalemate.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe this? on: July 27, 2018, 04:05:46 PM
Ever since i became aware of crypto i have noticed that after bitcoin, the next gem in the space is ethereum. As a matter of fact, ethereum can favourably compete with bitcoin, but owing to the fact that bitcoin was invented long time ago before ethereum and that it presently has more adoption than ethereum, it might seem insurmountable for now.
I don't think ETH is as great as everyone is makng it out to be, there are many other platforms out there that have similar tech but not the awareness that ETH has as it was the first major alternative to bitcoin.

It has had it's problems along the way as well with the DAO and the rollback of the network so is quite centralised which is not favourable to many, it is though one of the top 5 stable coins out there and good for the long term investor.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: July 26, 2018, 05:54:27 AM
The market has been down for too long. Do you feel like quitting cryto because you ve lost much?
For me, am a die hard fan of crypto. I will be a coward if i run away. I will stay till the green light shows. What about you?
The last few months have been especially tough, pretty much everything was down, it looks a little bit better recently though so maybe we are out of the long dark tunnel but quitting, nah I don't think anyone can quit because there are too many what ifs.

Imagine looking back in ten years having missed out because it got a bit tough.
