81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to promote an ICO on: August 10, 2018, 02:48:09 PM
‘Bounty campaign’ is good to activating your user base with incentives and driving referrals. As the advice from Wave says specifically for ICOs “this activity allows to motivate the users of your product for various promotional activities for your project in exchange for a reward in tokens”. In simple terms the bounty can be rewards in tokens for adding a custom signature on Bitcointalk,
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: August 07, 2018, 04:14:01 PM
The further increase comes from the "Bitcoin Shop as a Value" crowd. This group of enthusiasts bought and held bitcoin and it will not be sold at any current price. More and more Bitcoin fans are entering into this group and they are driving up the growth demand. In a world where people want Bitcoin worth $ 1 million, this kind of activity - logical or irrational - quite popular.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: August 07, 2018, 07:54:45 AM
Next big this can be Eos,it hosting environment for dapps. Decentralized applications. It’s n open source smart contract platform upon which dapps can be built on. Like Ethereum but better. It’s like an operating system running on a multicore processor. Unlike Ethereum on a single core processor. Will get to that in more detail. It has the ability to run multiple dapps at simultaneously.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: August 06, 2018, 12:27:58 PM
Yes it will be best with This year, Ethereum has decided to improve its technology with new protocols in place to take it to the next level. Ethereum is planning for the long-term with critical technology being put into place everyday. The organization has begun using Casper technology to upgrade its system as well.Casper will increase the earnings of altcoin on Ethereum to a great degree. It will also add new Proof-of-Stake (POS) algorithms to the ordinary POW that is on the network already. Casper allows solo blocks to be verified through the PoS algorithm. This means that every 100 blocks added to the chain will have to validate automatically.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchange to use? on: August 06, 2018, 08:39:35 AM
Bittrex is the go-to alternative if you used to trade on Poloniex. The exchange has a super staff that seems to always be available and has a pretty clean track record: no suspicious DDoS attacks, no suspicious downtime, nothing. I use it to trade my Steem to BTC whenever I can, and honestly have nothing negative to say about it. It’s design may not please everyone, but it doesn’t bother me.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: August 06, 2018, 07:10:24 AM
There are pros and cons to each of these investment types.ICO investments come with a potentially higher return on investment, but they also come with higher risks. One factor to consider when researching an ICO is how the ICO's pre-sale goes. An ICO pre-sale can indicate how a token might perform and whether there is a demand for it.do your own research first.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does crypto mean to you on: August 05, 2018, 05:52:14 PM
It mean Becoming financially free. Financial freedom is freedom that comes from not having to worry about working for a living. For most that means that you get a steady income irrespective of what you do. It is also good to notice that it isn't beneficial to talk about financial freedom in its strictest term (no work at all), you might still have to manage your wealth, but that is a very minimal effort. That is how I see investing into cryptocurrencies.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down Altcoin down on: July 31, 2018, 01:55:17 PM
Bitcoin is obviously the LEADER in all crypto currency.. So if seems like investors / buyers are losing faith in it.. it means that for all crypto.. its happens in stocks as well.. Say for example.. The Solar Energy sector... If the major leader in that sector releases earning and they arent looking good.. DESPITE OTHERS NOT RELEASING EARNING YET... they too will have a red day.. It's losing faith in a sector... It will take some time before there is a huge differentiation between coins.. because in the end they (almost all) come back to BITCOIN.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: July 31, 2018, 06:58:56 AM
Cryptocurrencies surpass fiat currencies at some point in the future. One important consideration is that cryptocurrencies cannot be manipulated quite as easily as fiat currency, largely due to their decentralized and unregulated status. Beyond that, cryptocurrencies could better support the concept of a universal basic income than fiat currencies would. As a matter of fact, some programs have already experimented with the use of cryptocurrencies as means of distributing a universal basic income.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Quadrant Protocol - A blueprint for mapping decentralized data on: July 31, 2018, 04:34:57 AM
I'm surprised that it was only in 10 years that I thought of combining the information flow and blockchain into one system. As for me, this is an ideal co-creation of two technologies that are created for each other. I wish the development of this project, and I express deep hope for the full implementation of the project conceived by the team!
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - ICO] CGCX: First Hybrid Crypto Platform In Singapore on: July 29, 2018, 12:32:36 PM
CGCX is a hybrid exchange of a new generation that can solve a huge number of problems while opening up innovative opportunities. In addition, the exchange was established in Singapore, which already indicates its success and reasonableness. Therefore, we can say with certainty that the project is doomed to success.

94  Economy / Economics / Re: How is Bitcoin different from Etherium? on: July 29, 2018, 01:56:54 AM
While both Bitcoin and Ethereum are powered by the principle of distributed ledgers and cryptography, the two differ in many technical ways. For example, the programming language used by Ethereum is Turning complete whereas Bitcoin is in a stack based language. Other differences include block time (Ethereum transaction is confirmed in seconds compared to minutes for Bitcoin) and their basic builds (Ethereum uses ethash while Bitcoin uses secure hash algorithm, SHA-256). (See also: Risks and Rewards of Investing in Bitcoin.) However, from a general point of view, Bitcoin and Ethereum differ in purpose. While Bitcoin is created as an alternative to regular money and is thus a medium of payment transaction and store of value, Ethereum is developed as a platform which facilitates peer-to-peer contracts and applications via its own currency vehicle. While Bitcoin and Ether are both digital currencies, the primary purpose of Ether is not to establish itself as a payment alternative (unlike Bitcoin) but to facilitate and monetize the working of Ethereum to enable developers to build and run distributed applications.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Orvium - Open and Transparent Science Powered By Blockchain on: July 28, 2018, 03:12:28 PM
In my opinion, such a platform is needed not only for scientific progress. Such a database, which will become available around the world, will strengthen the international relations of scientific institutions, will enhance cooperation and achieve a higher standard of living through the use of innovative developments. At the moment, the situation is somewhat different, which is only an endless debate about the copyright to a particular discovery, development. With decentralized platforms, the question disappears - the technology of the block system will not allow any illegal data to be illegally changed or to assign someone else's work.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-ICO] [MVP] Buddy | Decentralized Development Automation Platform on: July 28, 2018, 11:43:55 AM
Buddy is one of the block projects that have everything you need to succeed in the market, given its two-way solution, which is a set of products and functions. The launch and deployment of a working prototype confirms the potential of the idea, attracting major partners and some customers. The team seems to be strong enough to solve the task. We can conclude that Buddy is set to win. For some investors, it may seem like an ideal long-term project. But even with experienced professionals, a startup is not without risk. Given that the chosen industry is very competitive, and there are dozens of rivals, there is a threat that the described business model will fail.good luck team
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ECT] Eloncity - Power the World for FREE on: July 25, 2018, 06:02:41 AM
The project plan behind ELONCITY looks super exciting. Their visualization of powering the globe for free is great innovative, but also comes with many challenges. Therefore ELONCITY is in my own opinion quite a long phrase project, which will take a number of years for universal adoption. But with the group behind the CEO and founder Andy Le, I highly think that they'll be capable to revolutionize the power industry.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MEDIA PROTOCOL- THE PROTOCOL FOR THE AUDIENCE ECONOMY on: July 23, 2018, 01:49:57 PM
The current content market does not properly value quality and this means creators have to go after popular topics or things that will draw big audiences. Uniqueness and creativity cannot survive here because often such topics draw small audiences. With Media Protocol, even a single member of the audience matters because anyone will the ability to easily reward.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: July 23, 2018, 09:04:03 AM
To begin with, even when the value is based on the idea of the currency or the stock, in the stock market you actually invest in the company, in the cryptocurrency market you invest in the technology or the currency, however you want to see it, but you never really get to own any part of the company, even if the business of the company affects the price of the currency. This also affects the total evaluation of the cryptocurrency market, there is none. No one really knows what the total market capitalization for cryptocurrencies is. The cryptocurrency market also acts ten times faster (I don't know how true this statement is, but it is my guess, as I've said before). This affects everything. Prices go up faster, prices go down faster, prices change at larger magnitudes.Market manipulation is something that doesn't really exist in the stock market, however, in the cryptocurrency market it definitely does. Is it a bad thing? Well, it depends if you get caught in between or not. To some extent it might be beneficial for the wider adoption, since it gets more people involved. Finally, because new competitors can enter so easily in the cryptocurrency market, old currencies die much faster than old businesses die in the stock market. There is no reason for hundreds of cryptocurrencies to exist, where as there are reasons for hundreds of businesses to exist.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO VS TRADING on: July 22, 2018, 01:48:17 PM
theere are advantages and disadvantages in borth in ico Safer investment comparing to trading of u do research correctly.
