Latency increases stales if very high

My experiences are, Baikals tend to hang and crash if temp is over 55°C. Depending on Algo.

Got mine now.
Assembly quality really poor. Three hasboards of three different miners were put in not straight. They were bent and a capacitor broke. I removed that hasboard so that the miner works with one hashboard less.
Otherwise like the BK-X.

you mean the fixed frequency firmware, right? Or can wen now adjust frequency in the autotune firmware?

I am getting 0HW errors at 63-66°C. The temperatures came with the new firmware. The unit (Z1+) is at 925MHz by default. Would you recommend tuning it down?

Biggest problem for me is the high rejection rate.

Could you please add fan speed control? I dont need them to run at 100%. Make it possible to scale it down to 50%.
And please do something about the stale shares...

I take that back. Suddenly stales all over the place and dropping hashrates... How often do you restart the miner? Every x hours? I can set my smartplug to do that.

Is there any way to tone down the fan a bit?
Otherwise, with the new firmware, I still get stall shares on nicehash. In general 6.8GH hashrate on average.

Be careful though on the power intensive algos. You will draw more current from one connector. If you use your PSU cable without splitter, that should be fine on low power algos. But if you e.g. mine X11 and, even worse, connect one splitter from a 6pin PSU cable to two boards, this wont be a good idea.

And just remember again: Ratinds: 8pin connector 150w, 6pin connector 75w.

Because it felt a bit messy after patching 3 times over the modded FW, I resetted my S9 and reflashed them (and resetted again) with stock autotune + recent LPM to check on LPM. Actually, I dont see any difference, although I mine on Nicehash asicboost and its also activated in firmware. You would expect like 10-20% power saving, right? So like instead of 1300-1400w, you would like to see like 1200w. Thats not the case. Or did anybody else have other results?

Anyone with a little knowledge should have seen that this would happen within days and should not have calculated with the big initial Groestl profits.

Latest firmware should fix hashratedrops, like Bitmain says.

Guys, jsut for you to know: Shipping is withing 10 (!!!) days after payment received from baikal. Thats bad....

My guess: After selling a lot of G28 and the profit of groestl drops, they will release groestl for X10.
Imagine they would have done this now or 1-2 weeks ago. Then the X10 would have diminished the groestl profit and the G28 would not have this high profit rating on several sites. This is of course only for the less informed buyer a thing. But I think a lot of buyers just see the numbers and dont check network hashrates and stuff. If you buy, calculate with the Qubit/Quark/Skein/X11gost profits.

Any progress on overclocking the BK-X? I mean so far, as I read, it did not work.

150 G28 equal the network hashrate of Groestl. So you can do the math.
