82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: November 09, 2017, 08:44:39 PM
When is the Skycoin OTC market launching, and what will determine the OTC price?
Will it be the price at Cryptopia? C2CX? daily moving average price?
Is it still possible to buy via Bitmessage...?

I think that we need get some results than mean working sky miner (I want get some ) then we can argue for getting on more exchanges.
When devs will deliver something working it wil be nice to see some action.
With such release then need some media coverage to.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rise of the Alts! on: November 09, 2017, 08:35:49 PM
As far as I analyse about alt coins it all depends on bitcoin stability. When when bitcoin rises I noticed most of the alt coins start dropping and when bitcoin dropping alt coins also dropping but when bitcoin stable alt coins start rising. At present most of the alt coins are at their lowest price So it is the best time to buy alt coins. So my opinion is we can buy more alt coin in the present market to get good profit in future.

I don't like over hype any altocoin today becouse most of them has HUGE gain even with those bleedings,
DGB was 18 before pump now is 140 sat and for real noone knows why.
Only one alt which is worth some attenction is ETH becouse it had many ICOs.
But reast coins have rissen just for pure speculation and today not many people is using anythiing.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many new ICO, how to check if it's scam? on: November 09, 2017, 08:24:44 PM
to be honest it is impossible to be 100% sure if its scam even you know hose people personally it can turned into disaster at end.
To minimalize risk try call to them, ask i email. Contact with their advisors that may lost reputation by joining their party.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most people invest in wrong ICOs to lose money ? on: November 09, 2017, 08:13:48 PM
People like to gamble  Tongue

Because all investments in kryptoland are big "?" and random gamble.
Many skams is pumped because their whales are pumping  giveing some news then DUMPING hard.
In ICO today is 50% chance tha tyou wil lose money best time in investing ICO is over now skams wont go x10 for whitepaper.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do any ICOs refund your money? on: November 09, 2017, 08:04:23 PM
I want to invest in an ICO yet want to invest in something that can refund me in case I need to pull out the money for an emergency. Know any companies that honor that?

I was part of ICO it was called MVPlineup and it was canceled becouse BTC have HUGE fees and it as not possible to run buisness on BTC.
So those guys have given back all money they got from US Smiley that was full refund 1:1 : )

PS: Guy involved in this was from Bitcoin Dark.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO that have raised 75-100M that were successful for investors in the last year on: November 09, 2017, 07:38:21 PM
Do you have any in mind? Name of coin and how much they raised

I tend to believe low market cap for an ICO has most chance of being profitable for ICO investors.

75-100M seems like a lot to me...

Thanks a bunch friends!

If you are looking for pure PnD then mate not brainer pick is low cap restricted ICO than big one like Tezos EOS.
Low cap coins/token you can pump aout of the box while bigger one need time and delivery.
Tezos EOS and others need time to show results and then token may rise.
With higer cash for development is higher chance that it will work nicely
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 vs waves on: November 09, 2017, 07:35:39 PM
Hello,

I am creating a coin/ token and wondered, is there a downside to using waves to create it? Its only slightly easier to create vs an Ethereum based. We picked waves due to their DEX API, what does this community think?

from my experience Waves have terrible exchange system and this is bad. On ETH you pnD any token and it works while  Waves is bugging itself.
I don't know if waves will have so bright future like ETH.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many new ICO, how to check if it's scam? on: November 09, 2017, 07:33:05 PM
So many new ICO, and they all have new idea and tech listed on their webpages,

and even the websites use the same template...

but so many new ICO, how to check if it's scam, or worth to invest...

Man this is how free market works.
People wanted ICO not PRODUCTS so they have been paying 20x for ICOs price.
Now free market give you 20x ICO at ICO price at best.
this system  tries to find ballance
now we had massive BTC pump so more ICOs will come.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 09, 2017, 07:24:57 PM
So the question is if it is possible to access the same wallet/address from the different devices (at least not simultaneously, but in turn), ie use the mobile client on the go and then switch to the desktop one when get back home.
You're gonna corrupt your blackbytes if you do this.

What you need, is a multisig wallet: 2 devices, 1 needed to sign. You can set it up from your existing wallet by adding a new 1-2 wallet, then pair with the other device, transfer a small amount to test, and once it works: transfer everything.

last time i have tried to recover from seed and i don't see my blackbytes . Do I have lost them or what ?
I got some strange messages.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: November 09, 2017, 07:18:51 PM
Hi guys, I've been in the world of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for some time, some relatives and friends ask me to buy gold or bitcoin to save, and I answer:

1. If you want to be safe without worrying about buying gold, because its price is very stable, at 1200 dollars an ounce.
***

Price stability is not case for investment vehicle better is somehting violent like BTC but rissing while Gold is declining.
In future some pople can make Gold from other metals and then what ?

92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: November 09, 2017, 05:28:03 PM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

In bitcoin the weakest point of seciurity is you so you have to be aware  how to proteckt your sellf from hacking.
Imo best option currenty are hardware wallets the only way to steal you BTC is to get you Hardware wallet and hand hack it phisically but even with that is not easy.
So for me this is best security.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: November 09, 2017, 05:20:26 PM
Bitcoin have something unique you can not be stopped.
Your goverment can not steal it from you.
With fiat they can print many as they want and this is impssible with BTC.
And when you want move big capital on BTC noone can stop you while moving big money outside of many countries is impossible.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X Cancelled on: November 09, 2017, 05:17:58 PM
Is this for real? After all this drama they pulled out with just over a week to go?

I wonder what made them change their minds, and I wonder what the implications are

I am also interested in finding out what caused this decision.

*

IMO they just got ball big in BCH and they were bying it cheap to crete drama 2x. they want caital flow into BCH but looks like people are pumping more BTC than BCH and they gave up.
I am disaponted becouse they created such drama such shitshow and now they give up.
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: Boys the time has come - the bubble shall pop on: November 09, 2017, 05:13:20 PM
Went down from 7,700 to 7,200 in one hour and is barely holding. It's time to *Crowd chimes in* "POP THAT BUBBLE"
Low key think it will drop at least 30% but could go as far as 50%, either way after this bubble pops, and we all have to agree it's gotta pop, Bitcoin will still be worth more than it's ever been. Hype.

I think people now want to test 10 000$ Cheesy mark or for memes over 9000$.
For Bitcoin this is not that much it is like +30% and we are on 10000$. So is doable today IMO.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get a static Bitcoin adress ? on: November 09, 2017, 05:11:31 PM
Just to clarify, a Bitcoin address should ideally not be used more than once.  It can be acceptable if you accept regular payments from the same group, but it's always ideal to accept payments to new addresses whenever you're able.

There are a variety of different security and privacy concerns for reusing addresses which you should consider before doing it too often.  You harm others' privacy as well as your own.

Perhaps you could try leaving blockchain.info's settings to automatically generate new addresses and then just manage the old ones when you really have to?

but heaving multiple imputs makes transactions expensive. and this is frustrating when you have to find all active or inactive imputs from time to time .
With some airdrops to claim coins you need to go back in time and is frustrating when you have multiple addresses.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: November 09, 2017, 04:54:04 PM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

Just most like it will shown that in ong term there is no sence to keep and invest in krypto more than you really need.
Probably most speculation play as we have now will end becouse suckers won't be back in massive scale.
System will last but it wont be saving system more  utility
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X NOT Cancelled, the HF might still on on: November 09, 2017, 01:48:33 PM
Did anyone see this? It looks like the celebration might be short lived.

100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading or ICO on: November 09, 2017, 01:16:35 PM
Hi, everyone. I got about $5000 to invest in crypto. Which one is more secure and profitable: trade crypto (yes, I'm a newbie) or invest in ICO?
I've made my own research and investing in several ICO's seems more attractive for me, but want to know your opinions Wink

in last days many ICOs are giving returns and probably some coins ass well so who knows is easier make 2x on popular KYC ICO than trading in kryto environment.
But coins that will give you nice return on money is that much if you will look after them.
