81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: August 08, 2018, 02:50:31 AM
Predictably, people began to be more careful about investing in ICOs in 2018. The cryptocurrency price fall has strongly affected this, and now it's much harder to get the profit.
Since legalities were on the risk now, there is plenty of news arises that make affects the market, some ICO didn't have even what it needs to defend or make the project success, some were just a copied of previous ICO that didn't get the support from its user.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When a project don't hit their softcap , they don't distribute bounty tokens? on: August 08, 2018, 02:47:27 AM
They don't even distribute the tokens to the investors and hence would not come in the market.
Even if they distributed the bounty hunters with token, it would be worth nothing.
So it's better not to distribute bounty tokens if you are not issuing your token at all.
Since the token will be no use, then distributing it will definitely be not on the option, it will only be caused them to more lose in transaction fees as well in time and effort. Some bounty hunters didn't realize it since they only want to get their token even it doesn't have value or they are not updated on ICO status.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: June 03, 2018, 11:59:15 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.

It all probably depends on the type of risk appetite you have. If you are looking for huge gains with huge rewards, then i would suggest doing ICO research ( takes a lot of patience and research because lots of ICOs out there are complete scams). If you are looking long-term steady growth, simply invest in Bitcoin. You can't go wrong with bitcoin.
Bitcoin is still a good investment but if a newbie like what happened last year who starts in time the price pumps then dump it might be a frustration. Better study first the market and see its potentials to not regret anything at all.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find good ICOs? on: June 03, 2018, 11:58:10 PM
Hello guys please I will like us to share our views on how to find good ICOs and If you have a special website or link that have been tested and trusted  where we can get good recommendations about genuine ICOs please kindly share it with us!!!
If you want to find a good ICO you need to self research because even they answer your question here your the only one that can decide if you want to join that ICO. For me I find ICO that have a good product and presentation of theit white paper or roadmap.
Researching at your own can help but better make some discussions with some pro or groups to get some idea too. Finding some confident in that project will help us to decide to join or not
85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: June 03, 2018, 11:56:59 PM
It is a combination of luck and skills, I believe. Because not all can do day-trade. It requires a skill for you to understand the charts and know when to buy and to sell. Though I may say it's luck because if it hits your desired profit. Overall, trading is a skill. It doesn't rely on just luck.
It's more of skills, to be able to know the right time for it, we mist study it's graph as well be updated on what it can have or used with. Luck is necessary to those who just testing it.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is weird on: June 03, 2018, 11:55:26 PM
crypto is weird in the sense that it gave the opportunity for inexperienced people to dabble with trading assets, people are weird!! and irrational and emotional. I think the key to success in the crypto investment business -and as time goes buy this is more confirmed to me- is to control one's emotions and to make decisions rationally. that simple yet so hard at the same time
It is weird at first but when we see or study it's real use and importance we will say rgat its a must to everyone to know it since crypto can change how we see transactions and banking system can be a lot better than we thought it can be.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH on: June 03, 2018, 11:52:12 PM
There are times when we need to visit the whitepaper to realise what it was all
invented for and to have patience.
If you are looking at the core of this platform then it must be used as a peer to peer currency and not as a store of value and people must not care about the store of value and if that happens there is no fake news and other manipulation, but things have changed a lot and now it is mainly a store of value because there are many obstacles to scale, we have a solution in papers and until it is implemented we cannot call it as a scaling solution and that is a fact we have to accept, price will grow if it is used as a currency and not just as a store of value.
Depending on what we prefer, it can be a store value since its an investment and can be a peer to peer currency, this what makes crypto currency interesting since it have many beneficial use.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the problem of trust in projects? on: June 03, 2018, 11:49:59 PM
Although there have been many ICOs in recent months that have scam and hurt many parties. We are hard to stop it. But do not hesitate to be a good ICO and have great goals. There are still many honest ICO there. So do not think that all the ICO's are negative. Keep thinking positively. That's just my opinion.
There will always people who will take advantage on some good things , we should only know what were doing and whom were doing our work with, trust is a must in every projects.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: June 03, 2018, 11:47:24 PM
Nothing is safe. Everything we own can be hacked. Even a computer program has its flaws. But then we can decrease the chance of getting hacked. Just put a high-quality anti-virus on your laptop. Avoid going to unsecured sites to avoid keyloggers or viruses that will destroy your files. Every private key you have, print it out for backup purposes.
Just avoid registering in some sites, be sure that its not a phishing sites and be alwats attentive on where you join with. In terms of ICO, we need to check its legitimacy as well their updates.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: June 03, 2018, 11:45:11 PM
Being the mainstream of cryptoworld means bitcoin's popularity is known to the majority of people on the planet. I think bitcoin will have a bright future despite all the crisis it went through this year because i believe bitcoin has just started to launched its flight last year going to the moon.
Crypto's future is still bright ahead. Many more developments and advancement in block chain will attracts market growths.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price December 2018 on: June 03, 2018, 11:40:41 PM
Bitcoin price is always on a bullish trend when the month of december comes.  If you go back on the past years of bitcoin  the month of december where bitcoin price is up.
It will increase since bitcoin price were getting low these past months but what were hoping is to have another ATH that might be impossible these year but still hope for it, will eventually see it again.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: June 03, 2018, 02:27:57 PM
I think that investments in Cardano look more risky. But this risk can be justified. Cardano is still very far from the realization of the conceived.
Yeah. Just like tron, they are piece of trash and not worthy to invest. But you can actually have profit if you do short trade on that shit coin since many traders are still gambling on it because of its good trading volume daily.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS/ETH short term on: June 03, 2018, 02:17:31 PM
Buying EOS for a short term is a great idea. In the near future, this coin can give a serious profit.
It's true considering that any moment, EOS mainnet will be live and many company will be used EOS blockchain. As of now. There is a lot of airdrop scheduled for all EOS token holders that's why it's the best to do short trade while it's bullish.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: June 03, 2018, 02:12:14 PM
I think as the market and ecosystem gets mature and global adoption, the levels of volatility will reduce. But at the moment, we and going to live with it.

Even though there will be a global adoption occur. It's impossible for a decentralized cryptocurrency to become less volatile since no one can control it and the price can be easily manipulated based on news.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Private Sale? on: June 03, 2018, 02:07:17 PM
Private sales are a wonderful process in which people who are never known to the world take part, but they very often decide big. part of the costs that are needed to develop the project, so I think that they are necessary.

In my own understanding. Private sale is a tool to trick investor. Do you notice that all private result on sold out of tokens without proof of purchase. They use it to attract more investor to invest since they know that there are a lot  investors already participated on private sale and the risk is very low for the project to turn scam.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easy to earn Merits? on: June 03, 2018, 02:02:03 PM
I think that earning merits is something like a luck if your post is being recognized by the moderator.  In my case,  I will continue what I believe in doing good in my postings for it will be soon recognized someday and just don't rush too much to get into the next rank for it will come soon.

Everyone can give a merit and not only a moderator. And it's not just luck if you receive it. Posting long paragraph is what common people here know that a good and constructive post that's they are waiting for merits on it. Constructive post has a sense, very informative and unique. Only few users in this forum are posting on this quality.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: May 27, 2018, 11:37:51 PM
I don't think is a good idea

It's a good idea BTW since ETH price already reach its stable price and no more major price change to be expected. It can be dump again anytime once those whales that pump it until this current price decided to take their profit. Don't regret on selling especially when you are already in profit
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Advertising on: May 27, 2018, 11:31:42 PM

99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: May 27, 2018, 11:28:11 PM
I have been investing in cryptocurrency for 5 months . I am buying some icos and holding coins. I started with 5000 usd. And sometimes my balance went up to 30k and down to 12k . I feel very uncomfortable when my balance is dropped.
So i want to know is there any strategy to protect your balance before the dump?
Anyone can help please.
Thank you so much.
Just convert to tether Everytime same old FUD are starting to pop up since crypto media is really easy to manipulate. You will notice that trading volume of BTC is decreasing and many graph analysis are posted in twitter.  Cheesy
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I invest as a newbee on: May 27, 2018, 11:25:10 PM
Checkout potential tokens, with real vision and a roadmap. You can easily generate more than 2x on good tokens, but the risk is even more.Almost every project turns out to be a scam, so only go for the good ones.Don't make your decision on the base of pre-sales but on the white paper & vision of that project.
An ideal project would be IOST, I am expecting it to go big before it goes mainstream.Good luck!

As he said and most important to pay attention is he stated the word "NEWBEE". Even though it's wrong spelling but still it's a newbie and clearly means that he knows nothing especially on reviewing project that's why he directly asking for specific business to invest which I highly doubt that someone can give him a solid answer.
