81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do I still have a chance to get profit? on: August 11, 2021, 07:19:48 PM
It seems your entry website is no longer functioning. I'm very curious person when it comes to investing, I have never invested in project that hasn't been listed by the way.
My question, why would you even invest in project that's having domain money, it sound and looks typical scam that even a non crypto person could easily see but you went ahead and invested. You are even still convinced that they are still legit because they still reply messages. Wake up from that sleep.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, $600 million Lost on: August 11, 2021, 07:08:59 PM
DeFi is still new to everyone including the earlier projects who introduced decentralized finance. Look at yearn finance for example, it was exploited twice and funds till today are yet to be fully discovered even though it was later patch up.
Most of the new projects that are coming up are so hyped that we sometimes forget to do investigations and necessary before pouring money into them, everyone don't want to miss out. It's sad and embarrassing when somehow anonymously take away your savings that's why it's good to invest with due diligence.

I don't know how authentic its, but it seems the hacker has returned 260 million so far.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why be allowed to create tokens with the same names? on: August 11, 2021, 06:59:29 PM
Sometimes I laughed when investors and others crying that crypto regulation is too tight but what happens to idiot who just sit behind their house doors and do things that can easily sweep people's money. How dare you create token and name it Elon tech, isn't that vision less and pointless?
If government finally put their eyes on crypto environment, it will put a stop to most of this shitcoins as many will fear going to prison. We need good project with something to hope into.

86  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is key to the future of Twitter, Jack Dorsey says on: August 10, 2021, 09:41:39 PM
I read some articles some time ago if jack dorskey became one of the people who support crypto. It can be seen now that every crypto project always uses Twitter as a media campaign. I see as if twitter allows crypto to enter on their social media and twitter supports it.

That's because twitter has a lots of influencials and successful individuals who are business tycoon and open minded people. They don't like any other apps that's because twitter is leading for now and that's perhaps the reason why everyone is always in that app.
Elon musk ones doesn't like bitcoin but today, he and SpaceX hold bitcoin, not just that but also a man of meme coins.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: August 10, 2021, 09:29:12 PM
Buffett said, never depend on single income, make investment to create a second source.
Investment is very important, and now more and more young people like to invest in cryptocurrency. Why are they so optimistic about the crypto market and how do they analyze and profit from it?

Okay, let me tell you what just happened this evening. I just sold $30 worth of Ether in p2p Binance and I was ashamed of my self how price of Ethereum has 11x when I bought was holding some before covid-19 spread across the globe. It's just a year difference between last year and now, if I'm still holding into that, I would be so happy but lack of knowledge and inexperience made me to sell my bags at lost. It still remains my worse and biggest mistake so far that anytime I check price of coins I was holding, I feel like crying.
Hold some coins, it wouldn't do you no harm.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2021, 09:20:57 PM
Yes they can follow and they should follow because nothing good will come out if they don't do anything about it. I mean you're country is missing out of the money that crypto has in terms of taxation. Although I can see why they don't want to do that, not enough studies yet to prove the benefits of making bitcoin a legal tender besides watching what's going to happen to El Salvador, they're the experiment on this one.
Government are very inquisitive when it comes to asset they can't control, this is why they dislike when opposition party tackle their actions, bitcoin will always be something of nothing to them but as money in air just as Donald trump said some months ago on his tweet.
El Salvador is a country with less population with small GDP generated yearly, I think they are adopting that as aeans of making extra cash into their countr for development.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 10, 2021, 09:16:16 PM
I couldn't put the full title in the subject line due to character restrictions, but here is the full question:
If bitcoin was fully adopted into everyday life, why would it ever be used for day-to-day transactions if the general consensus was that the price would always appreciate?

After reading several posts on this forum many people seem to think that Bitcoin will always go up. If this were to be the case, why would people spend Bitcoin at all? In this theoretical time, wouldn't it just be a poor financial decision to do?

Or is it thought that in this future where there is widespread adoption the price would stop being so volatile and for the most part stabilize?
Nothing goes up forever, even the law of gravity has prove it and the same ideology will always be applied to our daily life.
We are all investing to secure a good future and we don't want our $1 to depreciate in value due to growth of inflation we are experiencing. If inflation growth continues with this geometry, it will be a disaster for everyone. This is why everyone is investing in bitcoin and hoping it continues to grow in value.
Now, people invest with different strategies, some are normal traders who after getting gain, they sell off while some prefer to hold for a very long time.

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: never invest in defi projects under the name Safe or Moon on: August 07, 2021, 07:31:55 PM
How can you sure if those are shitcoins?. You already not research their projects.. Judging the name of a coin is not right, you must research the project that is important to look not just the names so you will not get scam.

There is nothing there to research, by their doc/whitepaper, you will agree with me that they are shitcoin. How do just create something new, that's still struggling from financial aid and support and you just start shouting and blabbering that it will replace a grown market. It's silly.
I will not invest in meme coin, I would rather buy $20 worth of btc and keep than waste it on zero future coin with 10 decimal price with aim to $1. That's funny you know.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coins? on: August 07, 2021, 07:27:32 PM
It was a joke that went too far. And now it stays where it belong in $0.2-$0.3. It's pretty pointless but it has a pretty funny community. Well, what could you expect from a meme coin?

The community aren't funny, they are connected and well holders. The wat coin was heavily shill during Elon musk intro late last year, if bitcoin could do the same, it growth is going to be a bomb last. When China and other hating country make single line comment, they shake out and sold.
I don't like doge actually, but I love how strong the community is despite the hate and bad comment from others, the volume traded is among top coins on market cap.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: August 07, 2021, 07:23:35 PM
Have you heard of projects like pay to earn, they are trending topics now, because of the success of Axie, there are three projects now worth investing and holding if you are not going to play, in the future, it will increase the price by tenfold or more, these projects are Binamon Dpet and ofc course Axie do check them out.

Do you really think people are there because the platform is booming because gaming purpose or because its mere trend as quick tactics to make cool cash just the same way yearn finance start some race years bac and other DeFi projects follow suits including the good and bad ones.
I might be wrong but with what I have seen so far with NFT, the investors are trying to make it trend but they are only trying hard to make it over the internet but many aren't really interested.

95  Economy / Services / Re: 5000$ REWARD FOR FINDING OWNER OF BTC ADRESS on: August 07, 2021, 12:00:52 PM
<…> I had no idea that after one confirmation he was able to cancel this transaction.
I could already view on my wallet that I had this funds available so I lost attention.
It wasn’t confirmed. You probably saw a pending to confirm TX, and asumed it was confirmed.

It looks like he generated a TX for 3,79 BTC, sent from 1E3WStENAFUHj8rPpX6FTpS4KwHKZVFK3m to bc1q63nu0dh3ak6saku7xfdts55g6q6jsg9vwzlvl9, on 2021-07-19 18:29, using a fee of 1.005 sat/B:

But then used a Replace by Fee to resend the same amount, on 2021-07-19 18:36
,to 16ZbnaPXxwVkWsHeAxcRtnCBccr35tuWAc instead, paying 201.047 sat/B to ensure it was picked-up quick, thus nullifying the first TX:

I just learnt something today, does replacing a transaction by fee to a new address actually possible?
One has to be really careful when dealing from outsiders.  Shocked
96  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: August 06, 2021, 07:09:21 PM
If I can get my hands on all, I will grab them all and become the king of crypto, my generation will be poor but I fear they might all dump it on me when they found out that. Lol.  Grin
The truth, grab as much as more Sats you can get your hands own and hold them for long time, you will enjoy the patient and endurance you have managed.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Will some companies like Amazon really 'store' Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2021, 11:06:14 PM
They've slammed the rumor already so I don't think that they are going to store bitcoins. But if they do, I think that they can probably do it anyways, bitcoin storage doesn't require that much sophistication so I am sure that there's a possibility that in the future that they will consider storing or even making the system part of their platform.

Everything about bitcoin is changing and the holders characteristics is changing. I'm very bullish about their hold in future, its of course certain because this company are here because of the profit they can get.
Who knows if Bezoz may also have interest in holding bitcoin as well as no one every expected Elon musk to come on board even when cz was always tag and called him on Twitter.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: August 04, 2021, 11:00:45 PM
Yes, after getting to know cryptocurrency I made money online, at first I followed cloud mining in 2014-2017 but I got lost because many scams, after that I made money online by investing crypto like ICO, and bought on an exchange and then held for short or long term.

Making money online has been easy, thanks to Cryptocurrency existence but it's really not easy to make it here in this market and freelancing skills.
If one isn't experienced, you may not only make zero $$ at the end of the day but waste your precious time promoting and marketing scams of projects.
I have also lost money as a result of some mistakes but the experience so far has improved my way of approaching projects. I don't know the last time is was scam but I was recently physically rug pull in my place of residence. Lost so many, I have been trying to recover
