Hello,
Coinexchange manipulates the market, so you can't make arbitrage. You cannot receive Moon coins in the exchange wallet.
Is this ok?!

Quote
"Deposit MOON | Mooncoin
Warning: This currency is currently in maintenance mode. It is advised not to send deposits until the wallet is active."

wel that is possible, they say its in maintenance mode ;-)

they are proberly waiting for changes in mooncoin i think

Maybe because of the bug with the low-fee-transactions, that was just solved by Vassilis, so they have to recompile a new version of the wallet and do some tests before reopening deposits ... ?

Hi, new here to MoonCoin. Could someone kindly please explain the basics to the coin and why its worth investing into? Much appreciated.

The basics of the coin are stability, like the Moon. Mooincoin is like its name giver: it is here to be a faithful companion for humanity. Without the Moon, humanity would not exist.

Mooncoin is here since 2013, so it is a coin with a history. It is a fast coin; with a blocktime of 90 seconds and three blocks to be confirmed completely. It has a supply of 384 bln, so it provides at least one coin for everyone on Earth.  Smiley

A great idea was to change the logos on the site, in this coin, it attracts.
If you still need advice. A great and fun video.! To create similar videos, but with a smooth sound, it seems to me that the views will increase.
Another idea that similar (message # 3694) statements need to be collected on the site or in the blog and in social networks. This not only informs, but also teaches people and several other positive moments... This can be called (universal koin fashion).
All opponents on the coin, I have not read the last 10-15 pages and at the moment, unfortunately, I can not take a closer part in the development process. Judging by the investments, the work is full of enthusiasm (and quality), which always raises the mood!
Brothers and Sisters Thank you, Thank you, Thank you... Happy New Year!!! I wish twice more in the coming year - in all! Smiley

The first (yellow) logo is still the best. But the nice thing is, that the new wallet lets users choose their flavour.  Smiley

See here for a current list of P2Pool-nodes: http://5.45.105.66/

You can join any node and change between them without losing your shares.

FYI: For miners with lower hashrates, it might be better to mine on a node with a smaller overall hashrate, because most probably you will get more shares through to the node and hence the network. All shares of all miners of the different nodes will be summed up and everyone gets their payment-share according to their contributed hashrate over time. Just check the payout-page of one of the nodes: the payouts are shown on all of them for all miners mining on the different nodes in the P2Pool-network.

I just fixed today the pool mining section and the transaction issues..

we passed "key" block #1180751 with 73(?!?!?!!??!) transactions! Few more tests and tomorrow i will inform all the pools to make an update!

I must thank public @mebagger, @coinflow, @GBLASS and @Laidback!
you guys spent your time with me and your resources!

Thank you for your contribution to the Mooncoin community!

Hi Vassilis,

just saw in the blockchain, that block 1180751 included all the stuck transactions.

Great! It was found by P2Pool.  Smiley

And now checked again the issue-thread on Rav3nPL's P2Pool-GitHub. Good info. For everyone who wants to know more about this: https://github.com/Rav3nPL/p2pool-rav/issues/105

So the "Expected time to block"-issue is fixed with the new wallet-code?
Thanks for your good work.

For those who have stucked transactions:

You could try to use -zapwallettxes as an option on the startup of the wallet.
For security, backup your wallet first.

See here on how to apply zapwallettxes on Windows:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/zapwallettxes/
https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/45988/how-do-you-apply-zapwallettxes-on-windows

Only replace bitcoin with mooncoin in the paths of those instructions. And don't forget to remove the option after you applied it, so that the wallet gets restarted in the normal way, the next time.

And again: backup your wallet.dat, before applying this. It should do no harm, but better safe than sorry.

Please report back, if you tried this, on how it worked.

Edit:
Of course this only works, if you were the sender of the transaction. If you are waiting on a tx from another sender, e.g. an exchange, then you should contact them to solve it by applying this to their wallet.

The coins are back in the wallet but if i send them again, the new transaction is still unconfirmed. "0/unconfirmed, in memory pool, broadcast through 6 node(s)"

What fee do you choose?

1 moon/kilobyte, 0.1 tx fee

Should be OK.
Let's wait what Vassilis has to say about it.

Have you tried zapwalletxes and waiting a longer time after resending the coins, because the old tx would have to be cleared from the mempool of all nodes on the network first, otherwise the resend could possibly be interpreted as a doublespend and be denied altogether by other peers.

I sent after 5 min. Should i try zapwallettxes again and wait for more?

Try to wait for a day or more, and see again. Try getrawmempool in the console and check, whether the old tx-number is still there.

So yours is in it too.

Have you tried this?

Are there currently any plans to add mooncoin to more exchanges?
Perhaps yobit is an option?
https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/

as of now mooncoin does not have any plans to any exchanges, but if the community grows the way it is doing right now it's not a dream what you are talking about Tongue. you already in the telegram group? @mooncoineco join it, invite your friends, there is a good chunk of mooncoin lovers there who can tell you much about mooncoin Smiley share the group with your social media also. awareness brings people together.

Are you new to Mooncoin? Or is that telgram-group simply uninformed?
Mooncoin always has plans to get to more exchanges. But, the exchanges decide to add or not. So if you want to see Mooncoin on more exchanges you should write to them, as only if they receive enough requests, they may eventually add MOON. And to stay on these exchanges, MOON needs to constantly have a minimum volume. The low volume on C-CEX at that time was the reason, they delisted MOON. So any new exchanges alone are not the key. Btw. www.bleutrade.com is a solid exchange and has worked together with Mooncoin for years now.
I'm new to mooncoin yes. but... what you say is what i really meant. because there are no new announcements about mooncoin joining new exchanges and that is what i thought u meant. because i know that exchanges is the last step to get on exchange. Do you know what exchanges are possible for mooncoin in the future, and i'll be sure of writing them a good letter.

The most important would be Bittrex and Poloniex, because they'd bring the real volume. But for now, Mooncoin still is an "insider's tip".  Smiley

My mooncoins are stuck in a transaction to coinexchange. Can i do something?

What is the tx-id?

af3f072f2291a0ad0be9926e34f1a007df933f6be3c3b3269fcf3079406516ba

When did you send it? Which wallet-version and how high was the fee, you set?

23 Dec/0.13.9/0.00045

OK, it seems it is one of the low-fee transactions, that is stuck.
See this posting and the ones before and after:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733963.msg26989531#msg26989531

Your tx is in the list.
Vassilis is working to solve the problem.

hi guys
is it worth buying moon? because this coin always flops after a while, as previously its been used as pump and dump?
are devs active now? sorry to trouble you with a silly question.

Why don't you simply read the last pages? All of your questions will be answered.

Edit:
Regarding pump and dump: You cannot prevent people from buying when everyone buys, that is called FOMO: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FOMO

Since Mooncoin_Foundation did not update the first posting (probably he's on holiday and in the meantime Vassilis reviewed the code and posted new versions), here the links to the latest version of wallet:

A Mac-wallet is in the making, according to Vassilis.

I guess the pool is down for now:

[2017-12-28 13:33:38] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
[2017-12-28 13:33:38] Lost 2 shares due to stratum disconnect on pool 0
[2017-12-28 13:33:39] Pool 0 stratum+tcp://91.235.254.37:9664 not responding!
[2017-12-28 13:33:48] Waiting for work to be available from pools.

Hopefully only short term.

No problem at the moment. See http://91.235.254.37:9664/static/
545 MH/sec. working on that node.

Maybe it was only a temporary outage, because Rav3nPL is doing tests or your local network not working reliably?
