^ He always should be the pick for City but for some reason I'm not sure why I ever thought Doku was the better pick. :/ He had such a nice game vs West Ham, it felt like the right move at the time. This week looks easy on paper, but will probably prove anything but easy.
And what's really nice this season is we have the option of choosing no goal scorers, which is fair. We didn't have it during the years prior. Yeah, that one is rarely used but sometimes really comes handy. In the end it proved quite easy week for me, 5/7 correct and another 25$ free bet should be coming my way. If only Edouard and Mbuemo did their job, it could have been the big prize  Who were your picks if you don't mind me asking... Anyway another bad week for me. I don't think I ever picked more than two correct players except this last weekend picking three. :/ I think I'll take my time next time and get them in at the last minute when I get more info. @FortuneJack you have ignored Newcastle and I have a very strong feeling that they’ll not only make it to the top 4 but there’s a huge possibility of them winning the league title too. Lastly I don’t expect Liverpool to be near the top 4 and with their failed transfer window if they make it to the top 8 then it’ll be a miracle for them but if they buy some big star player now then only will they be able to reach the top 4. Right now Brighton and Newcastle are looking better than most Premier League teams, the only reason I'm not picking them top for 4 is I don't know how they'll cope with having Europe and Premier League to deal with, they just don't have experience when it comes to fighting on two fronts. If I were to say who I think the top 4 teams are in the league right now it would be City, Arsenal, Brighton, and Newcastle, but since Chelsea will play once a week (and are likely to recruit some more), and Klopp will most likely neglect Europa, I picked them as my T4 candidates. The one thing I've been pretty confident about for months is that if Ten Hag tries to play further up the pitch and play a more ambitious brand of football this season United will be in trouble and finish outside of the top 4. -ADante |

The first round of Majestic 7 proved quite tricky for our members from what I can see. 100s banked on Mo Salah to score, and even more, put their faith in Marcus Rashford, but alas.
Huge shoutout to those of you who correctly predicted Bobby Reid to score for Fulham against the Toffees.
Which team impressed you the most during Matchday 1? Would love to know everyone's thoughts. Newcastle and Brighton, in particular, looking ready to pick up where they left off and showcase that their season wasn't a one-off or a "fluke". I think we're gonna have a super tight top 4 battle this season.

@FortuneJack thanks for bringing this competition back and any plans to expand it for other leagues especially La Liga? Furthermore Halland started where he left off by scoring two goals hence he should be picked whenever he’s available however for other striker’s we will have to see how well do they start because some player’s can take a while to settle post the break and remember KBD is injured so do make sure to study who’s injured before submitting your picks. He won't score in every single game, but it would be silly not to pick Haaland every time you have the chance, I wouldn't bet against an injured Haaland even. Guess who accidentally left him on the bench for his FPL team..... How has everyone fared so far in the first round of the Majestic 7? Is anyone banking on Rashford tonight? -ADante |
