Its like a phone book. If your address is already on your profile, it might as well be recorded in a book.
Everyone should save a copy of this "phone book" regularly. Click on "print" which will give you a clean single page version that you can save.

What the need to print 51 pages of thread's posts? To lend an hand to deforestation?
I cannot see any real need to print any of this posts since all of them are made safe by other users quotes and if you need to find a specific BTC address or user you could easily use forum search button.

Clicking on "print" will not actually print but will give a single page view of the whole thread that can be saved on the computer.

Still...what the purpose of having such data saved offline on your disks when you can access it while surfing the forum? To me looks like wasting HDD's storage space. I cannot see a real advantage to make a duplicated copy of this thread for offline storage.

The net MCZ mined daily seemed to have dropped back to pre-Android-Upgrade level:

26729 MCZ/153.8 hours = 4176 MCZ daily, probably indicating difficulty in signing-in and getting Androids to work as well as discontinuing Closed-Android Beta which must have been mining very lucratively.  Cheesy

More Mangocoinz mining expansion, please.  Cheesy

Sure...actually I cannot install the newer mining app due to the 1GB available free space requirement. I may have to remove personal productivity apps; so, I'm giving up my partecipation in this project due to being struck in a dilemma between having to remove personal productivity apps needed for work & study or buying another smartphone, that I cannot financially afford, only to mine Mangocoinz. I'm still trying to find a way to free the last 200MB on my Samsung S4 but I cannot see a succesful end to such an effort.
We don't need more mining power....actually we need a lighter mining app to allow both old miners as well as a new ones to partecipate in the Mangocoinz project.

Same as me...will i have to give up to mine mangocoinz on the new app version...still the old app is the better than the new one...I miss beta version 0.5b

+1. I guess the doubling of MCZ/BTC exchange rate in the last days (roughly a week) is due to many old miners being cut off from the Mangocoinz project due to the huge requirements of the last release.

My ref link deleted by moderator. But he has not deleted other ref links. He makes discrimination?

If you want to share your referral link you may need to put in appropriate ways & places to avoid engaging in referral link spamming. E.g. you could try to put it in your profile URL, like me or hilariousandco.

If the petition has the power to jail the owner and get back our money than i would support.
But it has not such power.

it is a digital signed form but not enough to bring such a wealthy company/person down.

Probably, if petition signatories could be identified, such a petition would be enough to allow police to start an investigation to look into the alleged crimes. A petition itself cannot bring anyone to jail nor force it to repay someone.

Hey everybody,

We've just uploaded the new version of MangoCoinz (v0.7.5a) to Google Play, and it will be available to download in a few hours.
The new update fixes some issue that some users have encountered, and we ask for feedback if the problems that you had were fixed.

Best regards, Srele from MangoCoinz.

So far I cannot install the new release of the app...so much heavier memory requirements than the older one. I'll look into deleting any unnecessary app on my Samsung S4.  Sad
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: what is your favorite gambling place? on: June 27, 2015, 02:33:14 PM
Primedice mostly, although I have some CLAMs which I claimed and invested at Just-Dice as well.

Not sure if it counts since they're more of a faucet but every couple of weeks or so, I go on Freebitco.in and play around with their free rolls. They have a hi-lo game too which works in a similar way to dice games but since it has a house edge of 5%, I find it's not really worth playing and in the rare occasions where I do decide to play, I always end up losing all of my satoshis. Cheesy

The 1st time I heard about a faucet was when a friend told me about Freebitco.in. It was my first experience with Martingales & BTC...but now my use of Freebitco.in is just limited to a few satoshi drops to test new dice sites popping around. I swiftly became tired of just losing all my hard earned faucet BTC money trying to multiply it with such a boring site. Actually, I play mostly at dadice.com, a provably fair dice site with a low 1% house edge, because I fell in love with their Pilot Mode autobetting - it allow players a good degree of control on your play, even allowing us to set the end of betting streak after a win - their scalable faucet up to 12500 satoshi (0.00012500BTC) and the speed of Deposits & Cashouts. Da Dice also has Jackpots and a lively chat to talk to other online users (and often trying to catch tips gifted by chat mods). If you want to give them a try you could even using CLAMs there, due to their partnership with ShapeShift. You could join Da Dice just by clicking on the link in my signature or on the advertised links in my profile.

Ex-Coinbase Compliance Exec: Basic Questions Still Hold Back Bitcoin

Quote
Digital gold, decentralized ledger, global currency – it's not easy to explain bitcoin in any setting, let alone to regulators or law enforcement officials.

If the task is any easier today, imagine attempting it in 2013. That was the challenge facing Coinbase's inaugural chief compliance officer (CCO) Martine Niejadlik. A former senior director at eBay and PayPal and senior manager of fraud prevention at Amazon, Niejadlik admits even she had trouble coming to terms with the tech.

"Frankly, the first time [CEO] Brian Armstrong called me to tell me about Coinbase and bitcoin I thought he was nuts," she recalls. "It took me some time, quite a bit of it, to understand why the technology could be very disruptive."

Bitcoin Opportunity Corp Backs Mexican Exchange Bitso

Quote
Bitso has closed a seed funding round led by the Barry Silbert-backed investment fund Bitcoin Opportunity Corp and including undisclosed angel investors.

Launched in April 2014, Bitso recently acquired competitor Unisend Mexico as part of a bid to strengthen its market presence. Today, the company primarily offers an order-book exchange and Ripple gateway as well as a merchant processing product.

However, in statements, Silbert suggested that he sees the company's greatest asset as its position to help facilitate remittances to and from Mexico.

A presto  Cheesy

Lascia perdere il mining di BTC, in Italia non conviene più (troppe fee di energia elettrica e troppo costosi gli ASICs). Al limite valuta se ti conviene minare qualche altcoin....da rivendere contro BTC.

P.S. Benvenuto a bordo e...buon BTC!

FATF: Regulate Virtual Currency Exchanges to Counter Crime Risks

Quote
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has recommended closer monitoring of digital currency exchanges and gateways to counter money laundering and terrorism financing.

FATF published its 'Guidance for a risk-based approach to virtual currencies' at a plenary meeting held this week in Brisbane.

The 48-page document acknowledges that digital currencies carry several economic benefits such as decreased transaction costs, financial inclusion for those lacking access to banking services and the facilitation of microtransactions.

Kid-Friendly Minecraft Server Launches Bitcoin Economy

Quote
A multi-player server on the wildly popular video game Minecraft has introduced bitcoin to its world as a way of teaching children about digital currency.

While in-game currencies exist in several different minecraft worlds, using bitcoin means that players can take their money out of the game and use it in the real world too.

The server, PlayMC, features an in-game currency called 'bits' which the company has set at 100,000,000th of a bitcoin (commonly known as a 'satoshi'). The unit was chosen for its ease-of-use, as it represents a whole unit and allows players to be rewarded seemingly on a larger scale.
