81  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BPMC Launch BF1 USB miner - probably the fastest USB miner in the World on: September 22, 2013, 10:17:59 AM
Why do people continue to ignore the fact that 100+% ROI is not the ultimate goal for thousands of hobbyist miners?!

You speak about those guys complaining every day about bad luck and which pool can give them the biggest reward ? Cheesy
82  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon chips refund not received - Lawsuit action proposal on: September 15, 2013, 12:00:34 PM
i bet no one will sue them ... just talk as usual

No need to sue them. Just let IC3 know what's going on and they will take it from there.

Edit: It doesn't matter where you're from. They also care if you're a foreigner.
83  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox doesn't pay on: September 14, 2013, 03:14:08 PM
I never had to wait more than 3 days to get money from them. Looks like there's a secret pipeline from Japan to Switzerland. But no withdrawls lately.
84  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 16 x ZTEX 1.15y Bitcoinminer, working 1 year without any problems- EU only on: September 12, 2013, 04:54:20 AM
ztex are good boards, but they only do 850 Mhz, im afraid your price is not good for mining, maybe for someone who wants to use the FPGA for something else

Now: 115 Euros each.

keep going lower nobody is going to buy at that price its too high

The price is ok. But I agree that the bitcoin mining times of this boards are over. You have to use the fpga for something else.

10 days is a long time in mining...

Depends how long you're in the game.
86  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [19 TH/s] BitMinter.com [ASIC support: var diff, Stratum, GBT, rollntime] on: August 18, 2013, 08:20:43 AM
Hey doc...I'm having some problems with bitminter...I tried to setup a stratum server using stratum mining proxy (ran it using bitminters connection settings) and it never worked.  So I decided to change everything back and disable it.  Now my mining software states that Im mining from you at 80 MH/s but the site shows zero.  I havent gotten any bitcent in a few days and the payouts from bitminter seem to indicate that almost zero hashrate is comming back to you guys.

Im unable to use your java client because it fails to detect my fpgas correctly.  I've had to resort to using MPBM with your connection setings.  as of now I'm getting 103 MH/S but I should be able to easily pull a good 500 from you with the current load on my hardware.  Do you know why it would act lower than it should?  I used your pool exclusively but now I'm going to have to look at rollovers to ensure my hashing power is utilized.

Just seeking out any ideas.  I've done a software reset within my mining software but I will physically restart my computer which is hosting the software...do you have any advice or suggestions.

What's the problem with the stratum proxy ? Run it with "mining_proxy.exe -o eu1.bitminter.com -sp 3333 -gp 8332" then you just have to point the fpgas to http://127.0.0.1:8332 and all should be fine. You can use MPBM, cgminer or BTCMiner from Ztex if you use his boards.

Thanks god I made my share a long time ago Wink You don't have to care about bad luck, evil versions of the best miner and other crap.
88  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: laughted at me when I said ASIC companies are manipulating you on: August 12, 2013, 01:56:00 PM
P4man said 2 years ago that no one except the vendors and some early adopters would make a profit out of ASIC.

It seemed like an odd change to me, so I just assumed it was taking the wrong value from somewhere. Thanks for pointing it out.

You are not alone with that. I can't really see the point of changing that but it's cons decision.
90  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.3.2 on: August 11, 2013, 07:41:55 PM
3.3.2 was showing funny results for A:X. Looks like it was adding the first nr of the Diff Shocked

Code:
[2013-08-11 21:37:04] Accepted fec59856 Diff 129/128 GPU 0 pool 0
[2013-08-11 21:38:20] Accepted 00cb02e5 Diff 242/128 GPU 0 pool 0

I switched back to 3.3.1

Edit: Looks like you made that on purpose Cheesy Don't really like it

BFL 2nd-gen pre-order model....wait for it:

https://www.eliomotors.com/make-a-reservation/

If it had 4 wheels I would buy one.
92  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: August 09, 2013, 07:53:45 PM
They have the units in stock, just check their site. It does not mention pre-ordering anywhere.

Grin that explains the impressive pictures.
93  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: DGM - what is wrong with that method? on: August 09, 2013, 07:29:16 PM
'Pool-hopper' and 'hop-proof' are terms used to fear monger miners into staying away from Prop. Its unfortunate that most can't see past that.

Yeah and while the fools were mining prop you hopped their pool ? Tongue

someone linked me the reddit trouble shooting guide for the bitminter client... I got to step two, clearing the jave cache and cleared the cache for the browser also... this meant I lost the link to the trouble shooter and unfortunately my problem was not solved by steps one or two... could you see if it could be linked on the home page somewhere? even in here it's probably linked somewhere but trying to find it is impossible... I googled "bitminter troubleshooter reddit" and came up with NO reddit pages

Try the chat. Ask for DrHaribo.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC mining CGminer NEED SOME HELP on: August 06, 2013, 10:14:16 PM
Type something like this in the command prompt if the CGminer folder is on your desktop:

Desktop\cgminer-3.3.1-windows\cgminer --scrypt -o stratum.give-me-ltc.com:3334 -u XXX -p XXX --thread-concurrency 8192  -g 1 -w 256 -I 12 (for my 5850s and 6670)
Desktop\cgminer-3.3.1-windows\cgminer --scrypt -o stratum.give-me-ltc.com:3334 -u XXX -p XXX --thread-concurrency 8192  -g 2 -w 256 -I 12 (for the 7970)
