Greek customs service is asking me for an invoice.
Where can I get one?

All orderd form ROCKMIENR directly can get invoice if they need.
However, ordered from reseller or other ways should get invoice from where they buy.
82  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 21, 2014, 04:13:46 AM
do you ship in china? or any South East Asia?

We ship to all around the world except some far-off places out of way or other issues, take Ukraine for example,
we paid $250 per RK-BOX to that place by DHL even on 50% discount.
83  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 21, 2014, 03:51:11 AM
Even the miners listed on Rockminers R100 website (rockhash.com) dont show any run times over 14hrs.
Best I've seen with mine was 16hrs but 1-4hrs is more common.

This stability issue seems to be affecting RK,R3 for sure and probably R4..

Reboot is not big problem, most important thing is hashrate and hashrate!!
Reboot happened for temperature adaptive and only need seconds.

My Rockminer web GUI is reporting 479 Gh/s avg. but the pool side avg. is down around ~450 Gh/s @ FREQ 320 and current fw, running on R-Pi

Reject and pools may cut down little hashrate.

Well its a bit of a Rube Goldberg device but I managed to swap out the fan on my RK (BTW if you look up the operating specs of the model number and find it listed as a 150 CFM that is WRONG, it appears to actually be the 210 CFM model) I replaced it with a fan of similar size that moves 154 CFM. That was not nearly enough to keep this beast cool (primary prob was blade on bottom over heating, not enough clearance there to put a fan directly on the heat-sink as I did with the other three blades) so I added 80 mm 74 cfm fans to each of the three blades that are accessible then to cool the bottom blade I took the orig fan added a speed controller, lowed the speed by about 30% - 40%  and placed it just behind the unit to cool the bottom blade. Using only slightly more wattage than the orig fan used at full speed I now have a rig that has a decibel reading of 34 rather than the 62 of the orig setup and the blades stay at a constant 38C for the top three blades and 41 C for the bottom blade. I tested the setup by moving it out of the controlled room (23.5 C)  to a room with ambient temp of 29 degrees C for a few hours and blades stayed below 46 C (43,44,46 and 44). With the latest 1.3.0 pi image I am getting a direct hash reading of 521 GHs with an 8.8% reject rate and at the poolside (I have tried a few already) I am getting 473 GHs. This is with the freq set to 350 (I tried 320 and box runs cooler and reject rate drops to 5.9% but hash rate falls to 470 direct and 423 poolside).
Looking at new frame designs to reconfig this thing. At first I thought to go with a setup similar to the R3 but now am leaning towards simply taking all four blades apart and putting them on a wire plate with fans top and bottom. It looks like I could reduce noise and thermal conditions quite a bit by doing so. Will post pics in a week or so after the project.

MANY Thanks for your DIY of RK-BOX, other customers who are based of technique can learn your experience.
Better cooling higher profit.

Yes,R4, better heat, two fans.people can put it vertically.

MultiMiner recognizes the RK-Box miner just fine! Now it's a matter of setting the FREQ once I move my R-Box miners to another PC...unless I decide to set the FREQ by stating the COM # in the arguments line.

Currently I am getting 80 Gh/s per blade on my Rocket miner (FREQ 290) and 32 Gh/s per R-Box.

It seems that you should use the zadig_v2.0.1.161.exe tho replace driver.

Can you explain how the Adaptive frequency function of your software works? What is the mininum freq, what is the maxinum freq range of the software sent out with the RK units?

On yor R3 update 0.93 we have a selection of 300,320 & 350! when one of those is selected does the Adaptive frequency function stop working?
Also the fan selection full or auto, does temperature drive the fan 0 to 100%? What is the temperature range? for example does 0%=25 deg C and 40 deg C = 100%?

Upgrade the latest RockWeb,there is a freq option at "Pools" page, try to select 320M or 300M.
Thanks Trends
Freq range: 200M~400M. You can modify the pools.php file(in view folder) to use other freqs.

fan option:

    full:100% speed

    auto(just for R4):
        if(temp> 50deg C)   speed=100%   ;else speed=70%

Thanks, where did you get that version of CGMiner? I can't remember where I got it, but the one I download from the main site seems to be different.

UPDATE: Think I found it: https://github.com/rockminerinc/cgminer-for-R-BOX/blob/master/cgminer-win0.3.1.zip

Yeah that is the one mate. It seems to work better than the proper cgminer for me at least.

WHEN IS THE 10-15% REJECT RATE ON THE RK-BOXES GOING TO BE ADDRESSED???

Also this 10-15% issue. Is it a case of the cgminer not being properly configured to work with these chips? Can it be fixed with software patch...

P2Pool compatibility?  Possible?  Yes? If so, any idea why BFGMiner/CGMiner all get banned shortly after their start with the RK-BOK?  No?  If not, any word on compatibility in the works?  Anybody?

P2Pool is not supported now.

Ok, so I'm still having my miners crash out. I did have 2 PSUs die, so I replaced them and I was hoping that that was the issue but it does not look like it will be that easy. I re-flashed my sd card, I'm using a known good USB hub, but I'm still having issues. The 6 R-Box miners are the only mining devices running.

Here are some screen shots. In the first one you can see that they were working fine until I got my new PSUs in and hooked up the 2 that I suspect are bad.
http://imgur.com/uY4i5HZ

Then see that not one failed and does not report in the system check. (shortly more will go off line)
http://imgur.com/BhF3dQV

On the devices page it shows so many devices that I don't have. The number keeps growing.

Edit: It didn't like the image links

Make sure your hub is ok. And uprade the latest rockweb:https://github.com/rockminerinc/rockminerinc.github.io/blob/master/mining_handbook_en.md#upgrad-rockweb

So if you wanted to cool the individual blades, a 0.25A 120mm or better will do.  A single 0.53A 120mm fan would be icy-cool, where a nice 0.2A 120mm will do a good job as well.  Tried with 2x 80mm fans from old power supplies (0.16A and 0.2A) and they were not quite fast enough to cool it, but two 0.3 or 0.4A 80mm might have worked.

A single 0.07A 120mm wouldn't do it, but a single 0.16A 120mm was actually not too bad.  I wish we had a bit more variety here, but it is clear they will go with a single 120mm as long as it spins decently.

We also tried a couple expirements:

Replacing the single 120mm 1.3A (stock, loud) fan with two 120mm 0.53A (quiet, still 110cfm though) fans on either side.  You only get one plate to mount a fan on but if you had two, and set them up in a push-pull layout to pull the air through... Not quite enough cooling power, stock the system gets 51 or 52 degrees and it gets over 55-56 with the 2x fan push-pull.  Also tried vertically aligning it so the air pushes upwards and sucking from the bottom and it got about the same result.

Also tried flipping the stock fan around, to push through the heatsink instead of pull through, and the results were pretty much the same if you didn't do that.  Maybe 1 degree hotter.

We received a demo R3 unit today, with our first shipment to arrive tomorrow.

Would love to see a picture of the demo!

Thank you very much for helping us improving our products.
For making mining stable on higher hashrate , people can trying BIGER fans to blow in farms, or try to set RK-BOX vertically with some space on the bottom.
One more thing, people can use one RPI run ONE RK/R3-BOX, hashrate will go up,and its worthy for RPI cost.
Some people who have cooling solutions also prefer to order PCB boards.

#1: Reference to Raspberry Pi
This will depend on who you purchased the Rocket Box or R-Box from.  If you happened to purchased our products via bulk discount such as the resellers, they were given options to purchase the miner with or without Raspberry Pi.

When you purchase Rocket Miner products from our website at http://www.shop.rockminer.com  you will receive 1 Rasberry Pi per every 2 Rocket Box Miner purchased and 1 Rasberry Pi per every 10 R-Box you purchased.
If you purchased 1 Rocket Miner on one check out process, then placed another order for the 2nd Rocket Box for 1 item, you will not qualify for the free Raspberry pie. (2 Rocket Box or 10 R-Box have to be purchased at a time)
When you purchase Rocket Box from any retail outlet other than http://www.shop.rockminer.com , the product could be the same Rocket Miner or R-Box, however, the sales terms may not be the same as our online store.  (We noticed some resellers are selling Rocket Box on their webs, but Raspberry Pi and the Pi is an extra accessory to the miner for extra charge.  As a customer, please do diligence before you purchase our product outside our website at http://www.shop.rockminer.com )

This is wrong.

My agent was Alex Lam and he gave me NO options. He also did NOT told me that there will be NO Raspberry Pi for resellers.
So i told him and i am waiting for my Rasperry Pi´s or a refund for that.

I think there was misunderstanding,Alex not told resellers directly about RPI,  lots of resellers whom asked Alex directly knew that.
For this,we will compensate on reasonable rate only.
Customers bought from our store should all got RPI and SD card,if whom did not get it,pls email Alex.

Update:

Thank you for addressing all of your concerns here.  & Thank you So Much for waiting, Let me answer these one by one!!

#3:Cgminer/Drivers/USB/Hardware Design/Performance Improvement Suggestions
We do read each message and all suggestion from the members here.  We are reviewing each item carefully and we are constantly working on better cgminer and driver performance.  Hardware designs is another thing we are constantly working on, too.  It’s not just how pretty it will look, but cost performance, possible delays associated with the pretty case design, packaging restrictions, physical damage control factor and etc…  At the moment, we have the working miners that can hash at almost 500GH/S, so we decided to release them to the market so that customers can enjoy the hashing power now.  We are still making our miners better and better.  Please stay tuned and you’ll see more news coming from us.  When it is ready, we will announce more updated versions for you.

#4: "sandwich" the PCB between two heatsinks
This is something we decided to do to enhance the chip cooling.  The colder the chips are, better hashing speed it would achieve.  Yes, if we use less materials, less cost, however, the cost performance to produce the miner is not the only thing we consider when we designed our product.  Our ultimate goal is to produce a high performance miner.  If you have some better realistic suggestions, please let us know!!  We are here to listen!!!

#5: Can I run Rocket Box or R-Box on Windows Computer or Linux Based Computer?
Yes!  You just need to run the cgminer.  Raspberry Pi is an optional item and you can mine Bitcoin with the Rocket Box or R-Box without using the Raspberry Pi.  You can just run cgminer on your computer, and the computer will detect the same way on windows as they would on linux.  All four (4) "blades" plug into the included 4-port USB hub and then back to the Raspberry Pi, so you can plug that hub into your PC and see the blades that way, or you can plug in one blade at a time, they work independently.
We will try to make the guide as soon as we can

#6: LED LED LED
We will look into the LED but more people love them than not.  We can’t keep everyone happy at the same time.

#7:  Shipping Date
Again, if you purchased the products from our website store at http://www.shop.rockminer.com, the estimated shipping date is usually right on or within +- a few days.  The bulk purchase batches may had the different shipping date or projections based on when they placed the order and what price range they selected.  When you purchase miners from other businesses, please contact them for any shipping issues. (As you can see, some customers who purchased from our web store http://www.shop.rockminer.com) confirmed and posted comments online that they received miners without issues and all the promised accessories.  We can directly contact customers who placed orders on our website but we can’t contact others who purchased the miners from other outlet.  Bulk Buyers were advised of the shipping date and our upgrade effort to increase the total hashing speed higher than originally advertised.

#8: Duplicated Share Questions….
This does not mean, you are losing the hash rate.  All it does is create more work processing for the pool.  Duplicate is well simply a duplicate.  Cgminer doesn’t even bother  tracking them in detail.  The miner is transmitting the same work item, however, the valid work is the stat that affect hash rate.  Even though this does not affect the hash rate, we made the new control card to address this issue and other improvements were made to increase the hash rate.  When it is in production quality, we will let you know and it will start to ship out with the new miners.  (This is an improvements we are making and not the defects)

99  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 03, 2014, 05:34:14 PM
was told my unit shipped TODAY.

to be clear, i ordered this on the 18th, with a promised 25th ship date. It shipped 7 days late, or an estimated 0.09BTC per unit (7 days revenue at current difficulty and 460GH).

still looking forwards to receiving it, but this wasn't very timely of a release

Sorry for delay, we will give customers discount for who suffer our delay, waiting for it.
To be honest ,we tested and improved product before shipping ,we try to send people things exactly as we said, which means higher and stable Hashrate.
100  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 03, 2014, 05:13:25 PM
Thanks, I've got two pi's ready to go, the miners will be here tomorrow, just need the Rocket Box pi image. Can't believe they shipped without software.

We will put SD card in BOX, don't worry.
We didn't do that, because we think supply image file is ok, and people can buy SD card very easy.
