NANO making a nice comeback again, I think QTUM will follow in a day or so. BNB already back

I joined the forum at the beginning of January and thread has popped up twice since then. I have no idea what's going on, but it has made me laugh both times so far. Keep the dream alive! I think maybe this thread should be the NFT that accompanies the coin; that should make it worth millions.

He was a dude i admired, he bought a castle with btc, then seems he was a degenerate and a scammer, was fairly disappointing, also, he now dead.

Not to make light of his passing, but I suppose his estate may not have known what to think about this item and the coin is now likely lost or sold at some county auction for a few bucks. Irony?

oh this was the guy that passed,  sad then, yes thats Irony... seemed he liked to have some fun with that coin Smiley
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will energy consumption be Bitcoins downfall ? on: June 03, 2021, 03:16:31 PM
I guess miners will go green someday. They have to adapt. It's just an issue we need to solve.

Wasting solar energy that could go to power homes, schools and infrastructure is NOT the
answer to a simple avoidable problem. The problem is people think wasting energy gives Bitcoin its value. This thinking must change. People give Bitcoin its power NOT power consumption. Bitcoin Mining is an arms race and no one wins except the power companies.

you get it
84  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal cryptocurrency trading volume beyond expectations on: June 03, 2021, 03:14:23 PM
PayPal made it extremely easy to buy and sell a few cryptos without having to open another account somewhere and go through all that series of proof of Identity headache. It literally takes seconds and their account holders were already using the platform for many transactions.

All weak hands have already left the building  Cool

N00bs with weakhands that sold in May and walked away will be FOMO buying back soon in June then we’ll go to the moon.

I think it was more fund managers exiting than noobs for that amount of money to poor out.  They have been buying back though.. They play the doom and gloom game too using their social media accounts to capitalize on it.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: June 03, 2021, 11:37:41 AM
Tax is good for crypto as that legitimizes it as an asset. If the good ole USA see's it as another form of revenue then chances are they wont buck the crypto trend but rather adopt it.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano really reach 20$+ near end of year? on: June 03, 2021, 11:21:35 AM
I've been seeing many price speculations on ADA. Some say that its impossible due to market cap and some say it has so much potential to do it. What would be the sensible valuation you think it could be near end and why?

I have it maxed out at $3 that would give it a market cap of $95B making it the third largest crypto right behind ETH. And thats assuming another Trillion dollars comes into the market which is currently at $1.73T

92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's going on with Binance and KNC KyberNetwork $5.95 USDT on: June 03, 2021, 10:49:45 AM
A bit weird KNC ATH on Binance is only $4.36 [1] but you said has sold it for $5.95

Could you specific what's the reason you can't receive the USDT? Because it should received automatically when your order has been fill up even not 100%. Does it's visual bug only?

[1] https://www.binance.com/en/trade/KNC_USDT?type=spot

Thanks for replies, here is the sell trade as you can see it was in USDT...  before the only option at BinanceUS was KNC/USD so I had been accumulating with USD only

still could of been a glitch that still hasnt worked out but that USDT amount did show up in account after sale.  I just happened to see a huge % gain on a gainer colom at another site lol.

I also accumulated NANO in USD only as there was no option for USDT

Just as people moved from gasoline powered cars to electric will investors also move from bitcoin to ecofriendly alts?

Seems that has already been occurring.  New crypto investors don't care about decentralization or security.  They just want to see their number go up.  We are literally smack in the middle of the Greater Fool Theory.  We've seen 1 rug pull so far, but I think that was just a precursor.  The rug pull we'll see come December will leave people with their jaws on the ground.  On the plus side, a $30K Bitcoin will be viewed as a complete collapse, giving those of us with level heads the opportunity to do this all over again in 2025, if Bitcoin survives it's community that long.

I watch the BTC market share pretty close every time there is a big swing, BTC holds in there tough 40 to 43%. I still find it interesting there isn't one (top 100) crypto I know of that can stand alone on its own merit when BTC takes a dive.. It just disrupts the world of crypto

40-43% still is a big chunk of money loss. everybody will just sell and run when the price plummets it's been going on for over 10 years already, those who hold are the ones hopeful that bulls will quickly resume but it has yet not happened in history because it always takes time to see the bottom. if the price goes $28k, a lot of us will still be selling. the wisest wins because they are going to buy back stacking sats.

i was thinking we have been fighting global warming since 90s nothing has changed still. now shifting to electric. US has no source of gasoline anymore so they all want to shift when the middle east has tons.

no not a loss that is Market Share, BTC's overall capture of the $1.7T crypto market or whatever it happens to be at the time. That's actually pretty good for BTC in a show of strength.

96  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ANACS no longer grading physical cryptos? on: June 02, 2021, 09:19:21 PM
I'm guessing they finally realized that they were grading and certifying crypto coins as being legitimate without any knowledge of the blockchain or whether or not people would take that as their certification that the coins were indeed loaded as claimed.  If someone slipped an unloaded coin through and got it certified then sold it as loaded to someone else, I could see that leading to a very costly backlash scenario for them...  I wondered when this horrible business model would finally be exposed.  Now I'm just curious what sort of complaint they received, how much it cost them, and if lawsuits were involved or it was settled privately.  On the plus side, their gradings were highly inconsistent anyway, so this is no real loss for the community.  I'd even argue we are better off, as buyers won't be bamboozled into paying inflated prices for coins that were sent in repeatedly until they received a high grade.

exactly, I had read somewhere back about six months ago where some coins got through the grading process but turned out to be counterfeits. I'm sure this could and may have led to a lawsuit. Maybe another service will put together a team one day that are crypto physical coin experts.

In a few days I'll be having my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The Pfizer variety. I know, 5G, Bill Gates, PlanDemic and all that shit. But I always liked to experiment with myself.

Got second Pfizer shot a couple of days ago... all fine till now..  Cool

Gives ya a little peace of mind if nothing else Smiley   I went ahead and got the J & J a few weeks back and like they said on the 8th day you would feel it.  Felt like I had mild Flu for three days but when it was over felt like a million bucks.  First flu shot I ever got
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / What's going on with Binance and KNC KyberNetwork $5.95 USDT on: June 02, 2021, 09:00:45 PM
I was able to sell some KNC I had bought in USD weeks ago for $1.40 or so and sell in USDT today for $5.95

USDT had not been available for whatever reason
