81  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: September 09, 2020, 06:25:06 AM
Recently I was checking many crypto projects again
Of course even in few months in crypto might be many changes

I'm thinking about next material on "Crypto Grants", there are a lot of them now

Can you say more about that " Crypto Grants"? It's the first time for me to hear
about that. I think changes are the only constant, everything around us is evolving
and it's good to be aware of the changes around, if we can know what kind of
changes we can expect we can better prepare ourselves for those changes and
sometimes we can have benefits from them. I will do my own research about
this, and I hope you will share more about this.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: September 08, 2020, 04:24:29 PM
speculators are too high at year end $ 10K, only a few months to end if ETH hits $ 10K then what is BTC price lol  Grin Grin
This is very natural mate, when the market is bullish people make dreams,
but the dreams look stupid, even famous speculators dream like that lol  Grin

And reality knocks on the door with this sudden drop! We can leave in the dreams, but when we wake up we need
to make decisions and to stick with them if we are true believers. Nobody sane can think that Ethereum can rise
that much, and if someone dreamed about that I hope this drop didn't crush your dreams.
Every successful story needs time for developing, I am with Ethereum until the end. And I believe in high prices,
but I am aware that I will need to wait few more years before I see what I want.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Kickico KICK coin a good investment? on: September 08, 2020, 01:53:27 PM
Does anyone know when they plan to unlock the tokens they airdropped? They are sitting in my wallet for a long time, the
price is changing from time to time, but I can't move those tokens. What is the purpose of this I don't know, but as soon as
they unlock them I plan to sell them, because this locking is not a good thing for business, why to invest in something
that can be locked in any given time by developers? Where is the logic here?
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it now when ethereum is down? on: September 08, 2020, 12:07:13 PM
What happened is that we had a nice ride to the higher prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum and many other alt-coins, and we know
that after that we can expect a drop! I think the most obvious reason is that people like to sell on top, and when many people sell
on top, the prices decline. Shorting is a good strategy and many people here use it.
The prices will go up again, the same people that sold on top are waiting the dip and opportunity to buy again. If you wish to be
a trader and earn like this you need to learn more about the crypto-market.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Our chance to reset on: September 08, 2020, 09:43:26 AM
It's easy to say everything what you have said but the reality is, it is very difficult. It is easy to say do not go out and stop working outside but the truth is people will starve, it's painful to see your family who have nothing to eat and just wait for the help of others. There is already a vaccine and it will be released to the public soon so everything will be fine, as long as it is not available yet let's just be careful to ourselves.

The cure you are right about this, it's easy to say, but the reality is different, and in reality it's harder to apply all the said things
just like that. I assume that this reset that OP talks about is possible for some countries, or individuals, but it's not something that
can be applied on all the countries and all the people.
I would like to see this world doing better than now, but in reality we need to take care for ourselves and our families, and all
the changes we wish to this world we need to start applying them on ourselves first.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: September 08, 2020, 07:58:55 AM
The greed is the ultimate of all which has switched many people off, if you notice what most project managers emphasize in their Instructions is that you must not have more than one account. That's greed. Even some whales that struggle to make heavy gain and drag market down is one of those things
Another thing is Ignorance, those scammers and hackers are very wise and smart, some will send a message to your email to hack your account and one may not even detect. You need extra smartness to get them.

Tidovee the greed is ultimate reason why people get scammed. For emails, you have spam folder, hackers can't get you if
you don't open that email, and I don't open all emails, especially not the ones that have sensationalistic lines about huge
profit and big earning. And all comes down to that, big promises are the bait, you will not get scammed if you don't bite the bait.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: September 08, 2020, 06:52:09 AM
I like their idea to limit the gambling bets for those who couldn't really afford it but couldn't also stop on gambling but the question here is it is really effective?
People would still find a way to cheat it we already see so many KYC policy that has been cheated by so many people so I think this could also be cheated too.
And if this kind of policy would be implemented then I think plenty of people would also make a business out of it making some accounts for the gamblers to buy so that they could continue to gamble.

Legal casinos can limit gambling bets, and they will do that if there is a law about it, they will respect it and follow the rules,
better that than inspection to come and close them. But there will be underground casinos, privacy casinos, they will not ask
any questions, you can spend your money and nobody will ask you about your limits, where you got money from.
Gotumoot even you say how there will be new business opportunity for people to create accounts for other people, so they
can gamble.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Sushi Dump CZ reply with Highly risk especially on Defi project ?? Agree ? on: September 07, 2020, 06:47:17 PM
We know DeFi is risky, Vitalik from Ethereum is talking about that for month and more. I don't know why CZ tweets about this,
maybe he feels guilty because he listed some DeFi projects without taking money from them!? He is earning from fees, and
as long as there's some trading he is earning his profit. He doesn't care about the people, all he cares is his business and his
profit! It's CEX, I don't expect anything else from them.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: September 07, 2020, 05:09:08 PM
Take my advice. Go for a honest gambling site even if they charge a little bit extra. I have done online gambling for more than a decade now, and from what I have seen you need to be suspicious of those websites which try to recruit you using unviable offers. For example, some gambling site may advertise that they don't take any house advantage. But what you'll do, if they vanish all of a sudden, taking your hard earned money with them?

Vishnu.Reang I will take your advice and I understand what you wish to say. It's better to be safe and deal with 1% house edge, then to
risk your entire deposit in case the casino owner decide to run away, with bags full of our money.
I think that casino with 0% house edge sounds like a scam, I never tried one, and I don't know how that site can operate legally,
pay for stuff and all bills they have if they don't have a source of income. When you think about it, there must be something hidden
on their side, I do not want to investigate that with my own money.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coin in 2020? on: September 07, 2020, 02:59:50 PM
Bitcoin or Etherum is my choice
Other coins are too fluctuating
I second this. BTC and Ethereum are the only two cryptos I actually invest my money in.

I have most of my investments in these two. But I think there's a lot of free space for other alt-coins to make some success
in the future, that will reflect on their price. Investing in alt-coins is risky, but it can be more profitable.
Agree with both of you, Bitcoin and Ethereum will stay the best coins for 2020. Just few more months of this year, it will
be interesting to see statistic of this year, what coins made huge progress, who were the biggest failure in crypto-market.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: September 07, 2020, 11:39:05 AM
The problem with these pump and dump coins is that you need to sell them right at the peak. If you delay your decision by a few days, then you will end up with a loss. This happened to me in 2018, when I was trading with DeepOnion. At one point, the exchange rates shot up to as much as BTC0.0011. But I was greedy and waited for more. The prices crashed very heavily (by more than 99%) and I ended up with a loss. I still have some of this coin in my wallets.

That's a crash, 99%! I agree with you, if anyone has some coin that rises a lot should sell and take profit, being greedy in
these situations is risky, and can lead to heavy losses.
When I see this picture with this 30000% rise I know something is wrong and I will not even check the project and what
is wrong there, I will just skip it and forget what I saw.

Even I have Deep Onion. Back in 2017-18, they had a very popular bounty signature campaign, which gave out huge rewards. By the time the campaign ended, I had around 5,000 coins, which were worth around BTC5. But rather than converting to BTC, I held on to most of these coins. I sold them later, but I received only around BTC0.15. And this remains one of my biggest regrets with cryptocurrency.

Vishnu.Reang I understand why this is the biggest regret for you, from 5 BTC worth of coins to 0.15 BTC, it's a lot! I never had some
coin that had 1 BTC value, not even close. I participated in bounties in that time, and I had good success with some bounties, but
clearly it was success for my standards.
It's like it's better to hold on Bitcoins in any given moment, than to risk with new projects and new coins. As Bryant.coleman said, sell
on peak, delaying decision to sell can be a big loss.

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Going to "DEAD....!" Need Discussion..... on: September 07, 2020, 04:57:23 AM
I think the price of bitcoin is not increasing because many countries has banned it so new investor is not coming in the market so I think that's the reason why the price of bitcoin is hovering between $6000-13000 but I think after ending covid-19 the price of bitcoin can increase exponentially

Don't be misled by the headline and this topic, we had so many of them and Bitcoin is still alive and well. And the price is rising,
just check where the price was in the beginning of this year, and then check the price now. This drop is what we expected to
happen, the price can't rise all the time.
Covid-19 is a virus, and I don't see any connections with that virus and Bitcoin price. We had good days here in crypto-currencies
while the pandemic was at the peak, maybe I am wrong about this, if I am I would like to hear from someone why, thanks in advance.
94  Economy / Speculation / Re: Something unexpected needs to happen? on: September 06, 2020, 04:02:15 PM
A quick and simple analysis on how YFI situation could recover bitcoin believers to get back in the game and ride bitcoin to the new ATH just like what YFI did yesterday.

Strong message. There's a lot of space to grow!

$50k or even $100k isn't something taboo now.
Bitcoin is a place for believers isn't it?

It's a place for believers, but what we believe in will not happen tomorrow. It will take time, some of us waiting for that to happen
for more than a year, and some of us are ready to wait even longer than that. But before we come to that we will have good and bad
day, bad days like the one yesterday and today, and if tomorrow we see another bad day and Bitcoin under $10k that can shake some
believers, but not me. I will try to buy this dip, and to show my faith with making my positions even stronger!
95  Economy / Economics / Re: PornHub now accepts Bitcoin and Litecoin (News coincides with BTC decline?) on: September 06, 2020, 12:25:11 PM
Seriously, I didn’t get why some people were happy about this earlier this week, they were just posting about it and it was annoying for me because this is not what I need for Bitcoin, I expect something better, this Pornhub shouldn’t even be a news at all because it doesn’t make any sense, there are better things to consider.

Imagine right now that the whole world is making most of their purchases from online businesses, imagine those online businesses are the ones that are accepting Bitcoin for a payment? That’s the kind of news I prefer to see, and not pornhub. When they were spreading this news of porn and Bitcoin I wasn’t happy with it, because I knew it’s only going to create negative reactions from the public.

It's spreading on all' sides, and I think that gambling and porn industry can spread it on all other business. These two because
most of the users value privacy and anonymity, on top on that fast and cheap transactions. It has to start somewhere, so why
not from business on the margins of society.
Don't worry Tbterryboy we will see the whole world making most of the purchases using some crypto-currency, that time is
coming.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 06, 2020, 08:33:07 AM
No where it's easy to make money. So here is nothing special about the crypto. But the fact is,this is easier than other works and is helpful  for certain sectors specially in pendamic. To earn money in a good figure invest  and ideas are must.So a good work, good idea, good invest (except bounty hunters) and a good patience can be a really good thing.

It's hard to start, when you start and you spend some time learning you become more skilled, than it becomes easy to make
money. There's nothing on the plate, you need to learn, to try new things, and when you find what you like to learn more about it
and it's how you gain experience needed for life. When you learn how to learn you will see it's the same in real-world and in the
crypto-world.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTC2] Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: September 06, 2020, 07:06:15 AM
This is staking Bitcoin fork, yes? How many coins I need to have and to stake it? Do I need wallet open and running or stake is
active when wallet isn't open?
I like this project, I am thinking about investing in some staking coins. For now, I am still researching, and I saw this ANN thread
while I was looking for interesting projects. Is there a way to earn BTC2 coins somehow?

0.01 BTC2 is the absolute minimum, but for decent results you'll need at least 100. there's a calculator here: https://vaultwatch.eu/detail.php?coin=btc2
For full rewards you could keep the wallet running or you can instead use https://www.bitc2.org/web-wallet/ or a third party service such as stakecube.com so that you don't have to keep any wallet running to stake.

Thanks for the info Jackleszz! I can start with 100 coins, it's not expensive for the try at the current price. I usually start with
$50 investments, more or less, and if I am satisfied with the project later I try to invest more.
You have a new update for wallet, I try to give advantage to hardware wallets when I can. Keeping it working all the time is the
price for safety here I think, and I am sure it's the best way! I don't like third-party services.
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 05, 2020, 07:10:23 PM

i guess a lot of investors just sold and whales also manipulate to get more BTC. i actually thought this will drop to $9500. i hope there is really a reason.

this is what i have read on the telegram i have subscribed. those guys added to the fud being spread on every channel now everyone wants to get some profit while trying to increase a fraction of their BTC. when this price finally spike up not the way they expect it then i'd be laughing at them on telegram for contributing the panic.

It seems it has been stable for now above 10300$ and if it can sustain above 10k levels for couple of days, then I think this can again rise upwards only. Also, as it is said buy on dips so bought some during this fall as I am thinking for long term and again for some time, we just might not be able to see this price range once the price starts to rise.

I think most of us expected this correction, the price is having an uptrend for months, sooner or later red days always come.
In my time in crypto-currencies, which is just 3 years, I saw that many times, early adopters seen it many more times. It's
happening and you learn about that. Many members from here take advantage from these periods, traders! I am more holder,
I just buy the deeps, and it pays out every time!
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 05, 2020, 05:50:41 PM
The reason is only one, people are not interested in that coins and nobody wants them! There are sell orders, but nobody is
buying, when that happens to some coin you can expect to be delisted after some time. It's what would good exchange do.
When I am investing in low cap coins I always check their daily volume! I like to see where are they traded, volumes on different
exchanges, it's one of the factors that helps me to decide is there a potential for this coin to grow in the future, or not!
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sure, We have good DeFi project. on: September 05, 2020, 04:32:35 PM
Indeed, if we examine the price clearly it will not be good to buy at this time, but if you want to take a little profit through day trading, I don't think it's wrong to buy it now and Bitcoin is also very suitable to buy at this time because it is experiencing a price decline, especially if you want to hold it in the long run.
If you are looking for value for investment you need to identify the project before hitting the market and invest during the initial period, it has its own risk in identifying good projects and if you find one and if you trust the team then it will be a game changer when it comes to investment, day trading will not give you the profit you are looking for and i would not dare to invest in these projects after a big rally.

It's people who fall on hype, they invest in these times. I don't think that anyone from
here would invest now, we know that time for selling was a day ago when crypto-currencies were on top. Now we have correction, good time for buying will come
again, but we need to be careful where we invest, while some projects will survive
and recover I think some are going to bottom.
