81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins ? on: August 17, 2022, 07:22:58 PM
Throughout the years I have just been holding bitcoin and ethereum in a non-custodial wallet but now I have decided to diversify my portfolio.
There are a lot of potential altcoins out there and I have picked up a few. Storing altcoins on an exchange id obviously not the right thing to do.
While I know that hardware wallet would be the best place to store altcoins I want to know other options as well.

Thinking about long term perspective.

1. For now, I have been thinking to store them on a non-custodial wallet but then again which wallet should it be ? My choice would be Exodus but let me know which one is best.
2. Would it better to store different altcoins in different wallets or decrease the hassle of maintaining different wallets and settle down with just one with all the coins.

Crypto users certainly understand which wallet is the best to use to hold altcoins. It can even be used as a single wallet with all blockchain systems. We can store Bitcoin in core wallet, but cannot store altcoins. We can store ERC, BEP, Polygon etc in Ethereum wallet, but not with Tron blockchain. In this case the most appropriate alternative is TrustWallet. TrustWallet can store all coins, tokens. It's just that currently TrustWallet can't store Hydra.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? on: August 17, 2022, 07:08:50 PM
Every day, people are getting more used to digital payments with crypto due to the numerous benefits it provides. There are no chargebacks, no middleman, and lower fees. Comparing crypto against traditional credit/debit cards issued by banks, I'd say crypto wins by a long shot. Merchants and businesses are slowly accepting crypto as payment method, so we should see credit/debit cards lose traction in the long run. Even VISA announced that it will be using Blockchain tech for its own benefit.

The way I see this will turn out in the future is that credit/debit cards will cease to exist as they're replaced by stablecoins and decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover will make stablecoins of their own? If credit/debit cards are eliminated, then we'll be on the right path towards a full-fledged cashless society. Instead of carrying with a physical wallet full of paper money or plastic cards, you would only carry a smartphone with a digital wallet containing the coins of your choice.

What do you think? Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

In this case we must look with a broad view. We must enter into business competition. Visa, Credit Card, Master Card, or whatever the name is is part of the business.
The blockchain system can indeed replace all of that, including the paper money we use today. However, the blockchain system cannot replace the interests of business people.
They will continue to strive to bring to life what they develop. Visa, Master card, Credit Card are part of the banking business where they benefit greatly from the card. If it's gone, then half of their business is lost. Logically, then they will maintain it, and develop to a more sophisticated stage including adopting the blockchain system in the cards.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Notice your emotion on: November 15, 2021, 06:42:22 PM

Emotions do play an important role in trading and investing. Fluctuating prices affect psychology and I think if we don't have a good trading and investment plan, we can panic and sell our tokens at low prices.
But if we have a good trading plan and invest for the long term, I think we will get profit as long as we hold the tokens.

Of course long-term investment will be more profitable. But we also see the potential of the coins we invest in. Because most of the coins circulating in the crypto market have no value. If this condition happens to the coins that we hold, then the loss is definitely what we get. Let's take a look at some coins before, even the bull run this time didn't have any impact. If you want to hold coins, maybe you can choose such as BTC, ADA, Sol, BNB, Eth, or coins that do have good potential in the future.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creat New Token on: November 15, 2021, 06:32:38 PM
I want to make some tokens in the market. But I don't know where to make tokens and list them on the exchange. How many $dollars can it cost to create a token?
Can someone help me with this?

Are you aware that all you are doing is generating trash tokens in the crypto market. Creating a new token is very easy, but making the token more valuable is difficult. If you say that you will be able to give the best for the tokens you develop, the sites and services for creating new tokens you don't know. Logically you will not be able to make the token provide the best value in the crypto market. Stop making joke tokens. If you are serious, and have a lot of money in this, I think everyone can help, even I was able to created the token.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchange token prices soared on: November 15, 2021, 06:27:31 PM
After the news that China banned exchanges from providing trading services to Chinese users fermented, the token prices of decentralized exchanges rose, such as sushi, uni and dydx, especially the rising stars of dydx.
I think they will continue to rise and drive the market into a positive stage. What do you think is the next hot spot?

I think it's just a temporary pump for certain coins, it has nothing to do with the crypto ban in china. Because the information about the crypto ban in China has no impact on the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos. Even a recent BitcoinArchive tweet stated that China would not be able to ban Bitcoin in their country. Most of the current memes about Bitcoin vs china are circulating on twitter. There is only one way for China to ban Bitcoin, which is to cut off the entire internet network in their country. But that's something stupid that can't be done. Grin Maybe this is the advantage of investing in digital assets, no one can prohibit ownership of these assets. No government certificate required. Maybe they can shut down centralized exchanges, but decentralized exchanges can run smoothly. They can close exchanges in their country, but they also cannot close exchanges from other countries. This is something that is confusing for those who are not happy with crypto.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is coin or token burning? on: November 15, 2021, 06:23:37 PM
There are many of us who do not know what is burning coins or tokens, so I will highlight the details for them today.
Coin or token burning is the removal or burning of a coin from its total supply.  We can call coin burning the amount of coins that will be removed from the total supply of a coin. The main purpose of burning all coins is to reduce the amount of coins.
Suppose you burn ltc coins, now suppose LTC has a total supply of 100000000, now if you want to burn 20% coins of this project, they can burn coins slowly.

Coin burn results:
The result of burning coins is that they will reduce the amount of coins from the supply.  As a result, the supply of that coin will decrease and the price of the coin will increase. We all know that 50% of the bnb coins were burned.  And as a result, the price of bnb coins is much higher now.

Yes, burn and staking are strategies to increase coin prices. Apart from that, the Binance exchange also uses the Launchpad method for certain coins, so the price of the BNB coin can also increase. In the Launchpad method, participation is required to hold the BNB balance, so that trading of BNB coins will decrease, and pumping will be easy. But it doesn't stop there, there are some coins that will be dumped because participants will sell the coins and buy BNB. However, daily traders can take advantage of this situation to buy and sell coins as expected. Perhaps other exchanges have different methods of pumping up the coin price, including trading volume competition.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is BNB going!!! on: November 15, 2021, 06:20:22 PM
I shared my comments about BNB that it will be 600 dollars until the 15th of November. I have a guess that he will be excited with the cryptos that football clubs have released lately. I think it could be $750 by the end of December.

Yes, launchpad crypto football pumps BNB prices up to $600 and above. And launchpad is done several times a month. Even when the market is correcting. This is very lucrative for those who hold binance coins. I expect the price of BNB to reach $1k by the end of the year.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get in early on certain alts? What's your source.. on: November 15, 2021, 05:55:58 PM
Hi all,   i was wondering,   what are the top sources i should be keeping an eye on, to spot future trends such as shib and cardano?

As im pretty novice, and not up to date on things,   i only learn about certain coins when they start hitting exchanges and mainstream news etc,
by which time it is usually already 'too late'.

So what 3 sources should i keep in a pinned tab, and keep my eyes on daily, to catch early coins ?

You can monitor it on Coinmarketcap. The list of coins is clearly visible with complete data. However, for the next stage, it is about changing the coin so that it becomes mass adoption so that it brings the coin to a better direction at a high price. As Cardano is currently doing with the development of smart contracts, previously Cardano did not have a smart contract. You can see full information on the official website, this forum is just a brief notice. Maybe you can read up on ANN about certain projects. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0
Regarding the Shiba token I can't provide any arguments. I think the success rate is lower compared to other coins. The digital number is 9, if the price of the Shiba token is below these 9 digits, the Shiba token will lose value. However, current conditions indicate a high level of liquidity in Shiba tokens. At least the price changes within this month have had a positive impact on the Shiba token. However, we need to be careful investing in tokens with high supply levels.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hodl or change? on: November 03, 2021, 10:46:28 PM
Hello,
If someone bought the Dogecoin at the highest price, then it is better to wait or change it to other cryptos and make money by exchanges and swap?
Any idea welcomed.

Thank you.

You don't have to wait for the price to recover, or sell it by buying another coin. You can make short term trades. Even though the price is still low, you will get an increase in the number of coins with short-term trades. So when the price recovers, you will benefit from the number of coins you have.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron (TRX) Discussion on: November 03, 2021, 10:35:42 PM
Yesterday, Justin Sun tweeted "TRON 4.0 is coming? He wants to compare with ETH 2.0
What do you think?

Justin Sun should have thought about the success of the project he developed. We know that a year or two earlier Tron coin was in the best position, but with the arrival of new coins on the exchange, TRX is experiencing a setback. Even until now Tron coins have not been able to reach ATH. This something bad happened with the core coin of the blockchain.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is not Legalized Despite the Many Benefits on: November 03, 2021, 10:30:25 PM
To my knowledge the first cryptocurrency was Bitcoin. Do you agree?
Since 2009 Bitcoin was launched by a person on behalf of Satoshi Nakamoto (aka) there have been very many positive things that have been obtained by people in the cryptocurrency space. Because Bitcoin has a limited stock, thus making the price of BTC expensive and then in anticipation of people being able to invest in crypto, Altcoins were born as an alternative.
Please give suggestions if my post is not correct.

After the launch of Bitcoin BTC and seeing the success of Bitcoin in digital exchanges and starting to be trusted by many investors, even to the lowest level, other altcoins were born. Maybe the second coin after Bitcoin is Litecoin, please correct me if I'm wrong. Litecoin was launched in October 2011. This means that it is only 2 years after Bitcoin. And there are several other altcoins. However I see the success rate of other coins is much lower compared to Bitcoin.
If only the reason Bitcoin is because of the first coin so the success rate is higher compared to the others. However we see ETH is much younger than LTC and XRP , but Ethereum adoption is much higher.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Popular Cryptocurrencies Of 2021 on: November 03, 2021, 10:26:45 PM
Over the years, since Bitcoin was launched, numerous cryptocurrencies have emerged. Some have grown and thrived, while others quickly went down after they were launched.

I read an article on Blockster. Would you add anything else? Let's discuss

https://blockster.com/blockdesk/1391_which-are-the-most-popular-cryptocurrencies-of-2021

I think there are some other coins that will hold up well and won't lose price. Among them are Banana from the ApeSwap Finance project, Matic with the Polygon blockchain system, and Solana. Besides ita Cake, with reliable BSC swap system.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: November 03, 2021, 10:21:49 PM
~

Shiba is listed on the Binance exchange, so promotion by Binance is nothing new, as Binance is doing the same with other tokens listed on their exchange. However, after Binance's tweet the price of Shiba tokens started to increase. But can these prices hold up well?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: November 03, 2021, 10:16:16 PM
There will be a new pump of the Dicoin coin coming soon.  Sold on PancakeSwap here is the contract 0x2ca0583e47996655a2f016da0bb5dc647d9ff639 Binance smart chain network.  While the offer is limited to only 1 billion coins, 450 million of them will be irrevocably burned.  There is also crowdfunding liquidity for Dicoin on dodoex.io, here is the contract 0x2ca0583e47996655a2f016da0bb5dc647d9ff639.  Coins will make 1000x

Why did you start a joke with all this? We did not find any records regarding the token you developed. Maybe you need to make some changes before you tell people about the pump that will happen with the tokens you develop. Because people won't believe what you say so easily.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: November 03, 2021, 10:11:18 PM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?

Dogecoin is not a joke coin, it is real developed and can be generated through unlimited mining. Unlike Bitcoin, which can be mined up to 21 million coins. But is the current price a big bubble? Maybe yes. Because the current price of Dogecoin is very high and starts from zero.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kid already making $32k monthly through ethtereum on: October 27, 2021, 10:14:15 PM
I was amazed by this news of 14 years old and his 9 years sister making a living through ethereum mining which generates them $32k monthly income, this is so incredible and highly commended, the kids use their old gaming computer to start up this amazing business and there are already expanding. I guess our kids are already taking advantage of the gains of blockchain and are already doing amazing stuff through the blockchain.

A little boy can use computer equipment well to do Ethereum mining, I think this is something extraordinary. The device he uses is also very simple, it might still use the CPU system. Of course there are many other success stories that crypto users have experienced. There is even a child who is cut off from school because he has no money and he learns about crypto thus making a lot of money. Generally making money on crypto is very easy. Like staking, by holding coins on a certain platform, we generate additional coins for a certain time.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cross-chain pump to high? on: October 27, 2021, 10:02:58 PM
These chains keep pumping, it seems like this is the next thing to blow up. I know that Aurora on NEAR is doing absolutely amazing right now and many people from the ETH community are moving there to get away from high gas fees.
There are many ways to avoid high fuel costs at this time, the solution is not only in Near or Aurora, but also in Tron and BSC as long as the desired support can be the same, so the solution to save fuel costs at this time has very many options

Yes. Indeed, a solution like this can be used to save transaction costs. Suppose we withdraw ETH, using the Ethereum network will cost 0.005 ETH, but we can use the BSC network with much lower transaction fees. However, we cannot use this method to withdraw coins to the parent wallet, for example withdrawing Bitcoin to the Core wallet. And we need to be careful before making a withdrawal, because not all exchanges support different networks.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: October 27, 2021, 09:47:27 PM
depending on the current bitcoin price, because the market is down then the price movement will be fully controlled by bitcoin first, if bitcoin goes up then all altcoins will follow, if it goes down it's possible all altcoins and doge can also fall below 0.2$.
Dogecoin's lowest price this week is $0.19, that's no longer speaking depending on the price of Bitcoin. Because the price of Bitcoin has changed quite well this month, but Dogecoin is very difficult to lead to a high price after the dump occurred a few months ago. Elon Musk is no longer looking at Dogecoin at this time, he is more focused on new projects that may have a bigger chance than pumping the price of Dogecoin for the next stage.
Doge was pure hype created by a bored rich guy, so it's not comparable to bull run as a whole. The markets are designed to rise even if they fall. Similarly, crypto follows these rules. Market caps really don't matter, as Dogecoin proves. Bubbles last only a short time. Yes, I do know what Doge is. Therefore, I am aware that there is a bubble.
Dogecoin price recovery to reach ATH something difficult, after Elon Musk managed to make ATH $ 0.73. Those prices I think are high prices for Dogecoin. Even the current price continues to point downwards. I think Dogecoin will play at $0.15 to $0.3 until the bull run ends within the year. Perhaps one strategy to recoup losses on Dogecoin investments for those who bought at the previous high price with short-term trades.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: October 27, 2021, 09:41:08 PM
This has been something I have found difficult to decide on . When this bill run ends in a couple of months time should I sell all my VET and XRP then buy back in when the market turns bearish until the next bullrun?

Or do I only sell a portion of what I have and hold the rest for another 4 years. Reason I am asking is could XRP and VET continue to rise once the bull run ends ? I obviously don’t want to sell all my tokens to find they are continuing to rise in a bear market

What are your thoughts ?

Yes, VeChain and Ripple Coins have a chance to increase in the next bull run. We just need to be patient when market conditions are dumping like they are today. XRP coin on the previous bull run hit $1.8, and VeChain at $0.27. A lot of people are talking about the bull run in December, and we expect the coin to surpass the previous ATH.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Fee Of BNB Is Increasing on: October 27, 2021, 09:36:40 PM
All eyes are on the BNB due to the increase in Ethereum's gas fee. Thinking about the beginning, it can be understood that the BNB's gas free is increasing day by day. Although I don't know the exact reason behind it, the curiosity is there.

From the start the BNB blockchain transaction fees were not free. It's just lower than Ethereum blockchain transaction fees. However I don't know which platform you are using so argue that the BNB blockchain transaction fee is free. The increase in BNB transaction fees increases with the increase in BNB prices. As with previous Ethereum blockchain transaction fees.
other factors are usually caused by transaction density, I mean the more people make transactions on the coin (BSC) or on the BSC network can affect the transaction fees as well. but for me personally gas cost in BSC is still cheap compared to Ethereum Network. if you are interested then you can use the solana blockchain, matic or fanthom. gas cost on their platform is also cheap

Yes. It is possible that the effect of using the blockchain is lower so that transaction costs and block confirmation times are also faster than Ethereum. I think the fees will continue to change, as the previous ethereum transaction fees were also very low. The effect of the current high ethereum transaction fees is also due to the high price of ethereum.
