Im a newbie both in this forum and the cryptocurrency subject, so I had been reading a lot and studying in the last couple weeks.But I still have some doubts. I always see people saying that there is a bubble in the bitcoin market and that there are many people who own big ammounts of bitcoins and can manipulate the market, so i dont know if now its a good time for a person who doesnt own any bitcoins yet to start buying then (i planned to hold them for a long time, not trading beetwenn exchanges) or if i should wait more. I also see fear about corrections and dont know well how those work and if they have an specific time to happen. Anyway, sorry for my bad english and thank you for the replies, even though I know im te only one responsable for my money.
I think you should wait until end of January 2018 before start buying altcoin, the price action number & volume unpredictable at this moment and change fast than before. If you decide to invest ( very good option ), time and money management is needed ( not only time ). February is the right moment to analyze and invest because ( I believe ) the price & volume has the right number ( point ). Ignore all news about people can manipulate market & corrections, because in investing world, as long you buy & sell at the right moment, profit will be yours. Keep going & good luck to you. |

You can start with little money you have, there's no specific number about it. Most people will try ask the best strategy not how much money to start, but that's fine. Usually, people start with 0,5 btc or 1 eth but it's up to you. Just start now and face the risk, than you'll know what exactly number & strategy you need. Good luck with you. |

From one week ago, i saw the marketcap is decrease..So i would like to know your opinion that you are still trading or investing crypto currency in this time (Christmas time, new year time)...or you will withdraw cryto currency to usd and come back in Jan 2018.

I'm already not trade from Nov 2017, I change my style from trade become invest. From Feb until Nov, I still trade to collect fund but after that invest become my option. I did this from 2016 and still work, meaning I got income. Beside that, Christmas and new year is " family time ". Never miss those moment to bring happiness into our family. Just started to get into trading alts again, what would someone say is the main differences between the two exchanges of binance and bittrex? I've just gotten involved in both and I must say I really do like Binance more, charting is nice, fees are cheaper, and everything just seems a bit sleeker.
What does everyone on here use for trading and what do you like about it?
I choose using binance to support my activity, bittrex not good ( for me ). Binance has simple rules about transactions ( buy/ sell/ wd/ depo ) not like bittrex. We can say every exchange has their own rules but bittrex make me stress and I have some transactions not success and doesn't have clear solutions. For now binance is better than bittrex and I agree with your post. Thank you. |

Everything could happen on the real market, we don't have control about it. Btc can break $ 18.000 is impossible but I think will not happen this year, but next year is possible. Most people choose to invest ( hold ) btc, but btc can reach so high because there's so many people trade and built business use btc. That's why btc price going high and also get big volume, too much people replace their money into it. Let's pray and see btc break $ 18.000 next year and see you next time. |

Hi - I'm new to cryptocurrency trading and need advice whether to trade on ETH/ALT(Crypto) or BTC/ALT(Crypto) currency pairs.
I understand the whole market is tied to Satoshi/BTC ratio and not fiat currency (expt Tether) and this is where I was making BIG mistakes when trading i.e sometimes keeping the BTC or ETH was far more valuable than converting to an Alt coin in the first place.
ETH seems more stable, my concern being that when I sell the crypto into either BTC or ETH then the value of the BTC/ETH changes and if I dont quickly buy something else then any profit diminishes. What do most people use ?
What is the ideal "store" for profit in these markets since you cannot convert to fiat currency without the hurdles of transfer costs ?
I think depend the situation, meaning is what do you need, bitcoin or eth? Most people will give suggestion bitcoin because have high rate but if you decides not for saving ( trade again ), eth is the solution. But you have know when eth have low price ( if decides to trade again ) because the price can/ will up and we can get more profit. For your question, I believe bitcoin is the best option. |

BTC will survive and there's no crash only dump temporary trend. You can try trade/ invest with another coin on the real market or maybe currency, commodities and stock. Many ways to create profit from real market, even btc crash ( maybe ) another product will live over and over again. For invest, I only see the stable coin ( price & volume ), but for btc and eth just because faith, until now still survive. I think xmr, ltc and ripple, but I see only their price and volume. Stable is a good indicator for investment but not trade, use long time period to find the buy/ sell area. Money management also needed but you must calculate money management depend your take profit area not from stop loss. If you decides to buy stable altcoin, enough money and patience because it will need more time than another way ( trade ). Suggested xmr for your investment and good luck to you. |

Does stock trading work the same way as bitcoin trading?
Stock trading and bitcoin trading is similar, one way direction and mostly " hold " become their key to win the profit. The different is only about legal, product and margin fund but others is same ( strategy ). If you know stock, I believe you can trade bitcoin also. I'm not suggest you to buy anything, let your money stay at bank and prepare for next year. BTC and LTC has higher price and volume, this is not a good sign to buy but wait and see. I believe this moment will comes up many speculations on the real market and will make us panic buy/ sell. I choose to stay calm and never decides take part if situations like this happen. Even though much profit can be made. And i did a bit. But truth is... i dont like it. It gives me a weird unpleasant feeling. Because to me its just swapping air if all u buy and sell for is money. I love crypto and to me it feels like daytrading is raping it. Ur not really standing behind the idea and product anymore. Im not hating on daytraders or anything. Just doesnt seem my thing. I allways had the same in poker, taking lunchmoney and the game is what its about to me. Whenever i played higher stakes it just didnt felt right and even when i won a nice bit it even depressed me.
If you don't like it just leave it and try to find the best for you, simple. Don't push too hard it will kill you slowly and make you loss your profit. We can say many reason about day trading but I believe most people living from that strategy. They like because not only from profit because they really understand what is it. Maybe yes maybe not, everything could happen. Until now ethereum still become the best alternative income and payment after bitcoin. I see every day more people " hunting " ethereum and trade/ invest on the real market, meaning people trust get higher. does it vary for different coins? I'm asking because if I want to day trade I want to make sure its doable. Someone told me it takes a long time to have a buy go through and a sell.
Before start to buy/ sell you must know take profit and stop loss for your strategy, if you don't have it please don't try take position. Day trade have short distance ( range ) about take profit and stop loss, but some times trader want more and that's why they loss. This is day trader not week/ month/ year ( long ) trader, it's not same at all. Mostly, day trader will close their position in 1 - 2 day even win or loss. Just like that and good luck to you. |

Agree with you, we should be careful with new exchanges. Until now, I use local exchange and hitbtc to support my trading. I never use another exchange because I have bad experience with poloniex and bittrex, when I got problem their support only say " wait ". Thank you for your information and good luck to you. |

That staff are very crazy guys i earnd from their info they told me to invest on iota and litecoin so today my profit is 45,000$ just from their info i dont believe that they have so much info about future coins In my country these guys has so much power and people are making money from their info . http://coinsprice.info/chat/chat.phpI believe if there's some kind powerful information like that, no one will share.
