Your invest have too high target, but if earn 50% in a month I believe is better. From your post I read currency not cryptocurrencies, those are different thing. If we say currency, we can give you advice like USD, EUR and GPB. About cryptocurrencies I can say Bitcoin, Eth and Xmr. All that I mention have the same basic but have different pattern. Agree with XLM and LTC, leave the others. I don't have any plan to buy TRX, ADA, and ICX, because they got no significant price action and volume. Besides that, that coin need more time to get title " survive ", I mean too risky replace our fund into it. Why not try FLIXXO and GVT? see their history and I believe you know what I mean. But this is your money and I'll not stop you, good luck anyway. |

Most people will say buy btc is correct but must wait until February, btc at this moment too high. Eth has good price moving action and volume but price is also high, wait and see until the price dump ( end January ). Actually, buy btc/ eth depend your goal/ purpose, you want trade or invest. Yes, you should trade with it, manage with the right strategy to make profit. Trade is not easy way to make money but not also impossible, you just need to practice and fix your strategy all the time until find the best for you. Hi There, I never used Hitbtc exchange site. But i need to use it because one of my coins doing good there  But my elder brother told me hitbtc not safe totally , it stucked deposit money /Withdraw. What about now? is it safe now? Thank You I believe hitbtc is safe, maybe there's problem like delay but I think is solved now. It's normal about delay, crypto transactions rise everyday. But sometimes, people send the wrong product ( coin ) or address to accept their payment/ profit. As long you obey the rules and contact support when something wrong happen, your transactions will fix in short time. |

30/11 I'm already a couple of weeks i enjoy doing trading. I started mining something ( 4 / 5 $), that i moved to Hitbtc where (having also bought the BTG at the right time) i have today 14.91 $. It's nothing i know, but just so for fun and to start learning. Why is everyone going nuts over this currency TRON(TRX). Is it a good time to invest in it?
TRX is not good to invest at this moment and I believe you already know that. Most people had bad experience and I decide to not follow invest with it, I can't face the risk ( too big ). I only suggested you to find another one and replace your money into it ( invest/ trade ). For me, TRX has no valuable right now and maybe will become scam. I don't see any significant indicator that I can choose to invest with TRX. Maybe you not agree with me but it is up to you. Good luck. |

it was predicted that bitcoin prices would fall in the last week of 2017 and rise in the first week of 2018 but none of that has happent rather the price has beet pretty stable around 13500 usd.
what are your opinion on this,is it the time to trade or hold because i dont have enough funds to buy or invest more.
If you don't have enough fund, " hold " will become your right step. Trade/ invest need fund to successful a strategy and how you can run it without fund?. Most of us not like " hold ", but this is part of trade/ invest activity, you have to do that. Never push your self if you can't, stress and loss will be yours. I’ve been investing in cryptos since the summer of 2017 and have done well with the main ones. I’ve been trying to buy a lot of these new alt coins (some not so new anymore) but I do not know where to get them. I’ve tried Bittrex(they stopped accepting new members the day I was going to join), bitstamp (been over 2 weeks and cannot get verified still) and I was just about to join binance as they stopped accepting new registrants. How does anyone in the USA buy all of the other coins? I do not want some small unknown platforms. I want a platform and exchange that is secure and prominent. Any help would be appreciated.
People can buy altcoin from exchange ( hitbtc, kucoin, etc ) and buy from trusted friend you have. Maybe you can try buy from local exchange near you but make sure they can support your crypto activity. Simple easy is, check from coinmarketcap. From there you can see coin price, volume ( supply & demand ) and also the exchange. Make time to research, take one, read the rules and start your profitable activity. Good luck to you. |

And are there any good ones that i can register on today since the "main" ones (Binance, Bittrex, Bitfinex...) have disabled registration temporarily.. Im just getting started with crypto so i would like to be as educated as i can be  . Any tips on trading are welcome  For now I only use hitbtc and binance, but last week I try kucoin and looks good. Actually, you can use local exchange to support your activity but most of them doesn't support all coins we need. Most people will see exchange from coinmarket, look the bottom, click market and try one. Read the rules & I believe one/ two exchange will fit for you, or you can try to buy/ sell from trusted friends. About trading, suggested buy eth ( but not now of course ) and use medium time ( 4H - day ) to find the but/ sell area ( use the second top/ bottom to open position ). I wanna invest $500 in Altcoins. Which one do you prefer? I was thinking of Waves, Eth and Neo.
I suggest xrp, xmr and ltc, nothing else. That coin has low price but stable volume, it's really good for invest. But I'm not suggested eth, the price too high and not good for invest. To make sure it you can see from chart history and use long time period to find what the best time to buy/ sell. Do that and success will be yours. Thank you. |

Snapshot of portfolio based on today's pricing: Bitcoin (BTC): 42% Ethereum (ETH): 22% Ripple (XRP): 14% Iota (MIOTA): 10% Basic Attention Token (BAT): 7% NEO (NEO): 1% I don't believe this current portfolio will be able to reach 20X due to majority being established coins that have already moved considerably. Last month's ROI was approx 22%. I'd like to adjust my future portfolio for the next month to look like: BTC: 15% ETH: 20% XRP: 20% IOTA: 20% BAT: 5% ____: 5% ____: 5% ____: 5% ____: 2% ____: 2% ____: 1% Ideally I'd like to change either my BTC or ETH holdings into the next big project, similar to how HR changed his LTC into ADA, but can't decide for now. this is my new project this 2018 i got 0.004 btc and i just injected it to a trading site so here's my strategy please help me decide 1. invest it in 1 altcoin (short term/long term) 2. putting your eggs in different baskets which means i will divide my 0.004 and buy at least 3 alt coin (short term/long term) what do you think? I agree with you and that's a good strategy. For another suggestion, I only say you can choose second coin to invest, such as xrp, xmr and ltc. You should purchase more bitcoin before new year, but after new year is ok ( fine ). Basically, you can replace your money in any time you want, depend your strategy and money management. No one will stop you, that's your money your call. Try to find buy/ sell area depend your strategy, so you can decide what time to open position. New year only moment, nothing special with that. |

I don't think so, for me, there's no stable in high volume. Low supply, high demand will create high value. Most people will say bitcoin will go to the moon, more higher every day, but they forget about supply & demand law. Bitcoin in 2018 will have slowly price action move and volume because more people will start replace their fund with second coin ( eth, bch, xrp ), we can see from news. Last thing, many country still reject bitcoin as payment and fund instrument. Crypto world will always interesting but not always with bitcoin. |

I still choose eth and xmr as best altcoin, but for 2018, trading activity I'll use eth but for invest just use xmr. Those coin has great price action & volume at 2017 and I believe will still going for 2018. For ICO, I choose like ADX and KICK will survive than others, even this moment has low price and volume. As long you replace your strategy with stop loss and wise management, any coin you choose will give you great experience. Good luck to you. |

I think still same with 2017, eth still become the second after btc. But after that we can choose xrp, xmr and ltc. I can't give you something worth but btc, eth and xmr always become my best coin and still give me income. I think that in 2018 Ripple will be the preferred coin and will take over as the biggest network by a good margin. Money is already moving away from Bitcoin and people are selling it for XRP and other cryptocoins.
Im glad to see people finally see that the true «shitcoin» is Bitcoin.
It is painfully slow, it takes away peoples money because transactions are very expensive, and it consumes a whole country worth of electricity because it is so inefficient and requires so much computer power just to have it running. In addition its forking left and right because miners cant agree on something and its anarchy there now.
Maybe yes maybe not but I believe will not happen, even ripple can replacing bitcoin it will happen only a second not two second. Your opinion is good but I think you should see crypto market history before say something. For me, your post like joke, make me laugh. Bitcoin still and always become number one and no one/ coin has control about it, you should see it long time a go. Fix your mindset and I'll continue laughing again. |

Can someone please advise which of the two exchanges are better? Volume is better on bittrex but no. of coins is huge on hitbtc. Also, for withdrawal HitBTC seems better as one can take out money through bank transfer.

Those exchange has different rules and policy, is natural ( fine ). For now, I choose to use hitbtc than bittrex, already try to verification but until now always fail. Contact support and do what they say but has the same result, so I leave it not because they have bad services just ( maybe ) only difficult verification. Hitbtc as alternative exchange besides bittrex still give me their best support about my crypto activity ( depo, wd ), always landing even sometimes get delay. Up to you but hitbtc is better ( for me ). |
