801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: June 26, 2018, 12:33:30 PM
what's your reason joining here in crypto?

Well, besides to the reason I want to earn money I do want explore myself bragging some things which would help me financially and as a humans itself. Ofcourse, crypto is money but that doesn't make me to have such specific reason to stick. I join crypto for a certain process, and that is to improve my potential intellectually, passion, perseverance, grit and hardwork which would lift me up to be a better individual. That process gave meaning to everything I have now, and what will I have on the future.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: June 26, 2018, 06:14:25 AM
What is the best choice regarding investing in these coins? Lately I have sold my Ethereum and now I am waiting for the right moment to buy them again, but shall I also buy Ripple and Litecoin?

I could not choose one. I have an attitude of exploring all of the options I could explore to. Well, when the talk is about the wage I could I have no doubt of choosing eth, and bitcoin abobe all the others but if I could afford to explore the others why not? It is the best to explore the others than sticking to one option, it is genuinely happy try exploring mate. But be cautious. I love money alot and the virtual money as well.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: June 26, 2018, 05:24:37 AM
Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...

Wow! Where have you get such data? You do have the percentage on how large the scammers is. Is it credible or it is just a mere assumption of you. Well I don't agree if you drop down stats having no authentic evidences, well, mostly is the thing you should say that most of ICO are just scams. We cannot afford to drop down assumption with no evidences, after all we are the one who have to be blamed getting out of scam. Because we are lack of criticizing an ICO before lending out a money to it. Probably we could had avoid it if we put some strong awareness before digging into it.

806  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency market to suffer from strong correction on: June 22, 2018, 10:51:31 PM
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will collapse by 90% within the next 12 months, analysts predict, but those coins that survive this correction are expected to grow tremendously.

On 7 May, US financial regulators, the US Commission on Futures Trading (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), will hold a meeting at which they will discuss, whether Ethereum tokens should be classified as securities.

Source: http://www.coinfox.info/news/9391-forecast-cryptocurrency-market-to-suffer-from-strong-correction

The green day is yer to come cannot wait for it to come. Well, we still suffer from this great depression. What we need right now is to invest, lend or buy more crypto it would be a great benefit in the end once the market price goes up. It is still at the middle of the 2018 so I guess positive changes could possibly happen at the end of the year.
807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and 2018 on: June 22, 2018, 03:52:09 PM
Bitcoin is just like a water and those other cryptocurrency as well, they flow continuously as long as there are the presence of people who will make a movement. It will rise up if people put some water on it as imagery, and it will decrease once people continuously make some moves who will drag it down. But one thing for sure is that no one knows when the biggest change will come, there are thousands of possibility out there. Bitcoin is decentralize and no one is in charge on it. Changes might come anytime, what we need is to continuously make some progress while this kind of great depression comes a while.
808  Other / Meta / Re: No to Merit for sale on: June 22, 2018, 03:31:50 PM
Hey guys, common. Ive heard a lot of people willing to pay just to get merit, but what for ? Do you think imposing merit system is just a public display where higher acquisition of merits means higher IQ on the cryptocurrency market? No. Maybe its true that earning merit is almost impossible now, but why would you need it badly? For having a large payout if you are being promoted to higher rank? Wake up! You have all what you need to. Bounty campaigns is just bonus. If you are here just to suck blood from it then better find another one rather than this. Gaining knowledge and updated news from this forum is enough, then do the rest with your own effort and legworth. Success is sweeter with your own effort.

That is so unfair. There are lots of people there thinking deeply what to post, what to put on what would they answer, something beneficial to the forum and to the bitcoin community as well, but not even earning a single merit. While the others was there trying to be lift up by their on money, posting shit, nonsense, short lines but acquiring tons of merit just because they had paid for it for them to be promoted. It is so unfair, especially fot those people who are working hard for it. Money deceives, indeed. No to merit buying.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: June 21, 2018, 03:11:41 PM
Hey guys, what do you think, should i invest now or wait? Market is in the red zone, so it is quite risky to invest now, want to hear your opinion.

Well, for me it is quiet good to invest now. I don't know if the other have the same perception as me but if I were on your shoes I would definitely invest my money all right the way. Well, once the market price goes green and goes a little bit up higher, that means a profit, just like if I hodl crypto and then sold it when the market price goes up. As an advice, do your thing you think good. Too much dependence would just make your situation worst.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: June 20, 2018, 05:56:07 AM
There is nothing you can do about it, it would be just either you hodl or buy more of it. Panic selling isn't a good option, it would just triggered your chances of having a more profit loss more than having a good profit. So, it is either the two hodl or buy more crypto for you to increase your chances of having a bigger profit once the market price goes higher.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025? on: June 18, 2018, 11:27:57 PM
That would be great. Such things would like to have a big impact to bitcoin and to crypto community as well, once they have accepted cryptocurrency in the shops, cryptocurrency popularity will goes up and then more people would notice and then they would be confuse and that would turn out to be as curiousity and they would dare to try and explore cryptocurrency, that will lead to the price climbing up of cryptocurrency.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 18, 2018, 10:55:11 PM
Indeed a wost idea. May be they have thousands or even millions of savings that is why they have the guts of abondoning their own precious job for the sake of settling to crypto world. But that would not be enough as long as there are no incomes coming to the person, and they continuously consuming their savings, that would be very tough! They will soon will realize it.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: What happnes to BTC,if the oil price goes up? on: June 17, 2018, 10:25:31 AM
The oil price is going up and many people expect it will go above 100 USD per barrel,or even 120 USD per barrel. How this will impact the world economy and the cryptocurrency prices?
I have many own theory about this and I will share it later, but know I'm waiting for other opinions.
Is this good or is it bad for bitcoin?

Is there a connection between the two? Well it would have once btc would be the payment for an oil exchange. It is somehow good on the other side. Why? Because once the oil per barrel price goes up it would downgrade the bitcoin value, then, it would giveway the chance for bitcoin price to goes up too, you get my point? Well that is only my merw theory though, I ain't sure if that is how things will go.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: June 17, 2018, 09:58:26 AM
For exchanges, ICOs that collect KYC information, when are they required to send information to the government.

If I remember correctly, in the US if you make a money transaction, such as through Western Union, or bank, $3,000+, within the same day, or smaller amounts during consecutive days, the institution must collect your ID information and Social Security and report it to the government. I forget which entity of the government.

Does that mean that if one participates in an ICO and puts in over $3,000, that gets reported to the government? Or if you move $3,000 out of an exchange, that gets reported?

May be if you moved it out of exchange. And in addition, ICO here and some money transaction are far different, thus, collecting personal information stuff won't be the same as the way government did in real life. Well I am not in the position to say that but it is what I know, it is somewhat and somehow dangerous to collect personal information because you would handle big things, and the forum doesn't required when you create an account here either.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: June 16, 2018, 02:35:09 PM
I think now fixed deposit interest rates are less than 5% p.a in USA and Europe. In India fixed deposit rates are 6.5%.

Gold and Silver gives average profit of 8% to 12% per year. Silver will most likely give 20% to 30% profit each year from here on to reach $60/ounce.

Example:

Profit for gold and silver for year 2016 is 12%.

Profit for gold and silver for year 2017 is 0%

Profit for gold and silver for year 2018 is 8%

Profit for gold and silver for year 2019 is 16%

So average profit for 4 years is +9%

How secured/safe are investments in gold and silver if you decide to remove/withdraw your money from banks fixed deposits and invest them in Gold and silver ??

Pretty high than the banks here. Well, it is quiet good enough. Never been in silver, gold investments and don't even know on how it works. Can't say certainly if it would be safe and secured. As I see, you will look the security of it into the operators who are working behind it. Just check their business permit, and their credibility as a business and individual as well. Be cautious and aware on every side of it. It is hard to get scammed, and you knew it, lots of people suffered it don't even dare be silly.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: June 16, 2018, 01:46:36 PM
I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sell-your-altcoins-says-pioneering-wall-street-blockchain-analyst

Well, if it will work well then why not? You should try it as well, sometimes other's strategy works fine. Don't mind your doubt, because if it doesn't work for himself/herself, he/she won't give a time to give such strategy in the first place. If it doesn't fit you well, then don't give any kind of attention to it, and don't even dare to try it no more. It would just sick you up and your mindset as well, stay in your lane, strive to achieve your goals, fixed your strategies and focus on it as always.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game! on: June 16, 2018, 01:02:10 PM
I have been through this time and time again. We go through a dip and everyone is running for the hills or selling their coins.

The trolls come out of their caves and the panic nanny behaviour kick into action, triggering a massive sell off amongst the weak hands. <Newbies & Speculators>

I woke up yesterday and I saw the price was just above $9000. My first thought was, "Damn, I need to buy quickly, before this goes up" and I did. ^smile^

Most people woke up and the first thing they did was to fire up a browser and to read the comments of these trolls and media shills and consequently selling their coins in a state of panic.

The weak hands will lose money and the strong will thrive in this game. Hodl on people! <Buy the Dip>  Grin

Indeed, those peope who are strong to grip their holding will definitely will win the battle of this price changing. Not that kind of people who risklessly sell out most of their holding out of fear, and shock. That is not a good manner, they urgently need to change their attitude, that won't help them to have a good income. Your story is kind of a motivation for me aside from others, hoping that this kind of stuff will help others who are still not learning, and will learn the game of fluctuations.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin investing on: June 15, 2018, 11:55:00 AM
so, what id like to do is invest bitcoins to a stock or mutual fund account, but am not sure the best way to go about it. any tips/advice?

Well, try both explore it. Then see it for yourself on what is good or bad, on what is beneficial and not, on what is the easiet one and the harder one, and what is the clear and the complicated one. You know, you can do both if you can, settling only in one option doesn't suit well of having a good profit. Try exploring the two if you can, it will double your profit I guarantee you, but if you cannot then don't ever dig in it will just lead you on lossing more money than having more of it.
819  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: June 15, 2018, 10:44:46 AM
As a digital payment system virtual currency has its own reputation. Bitcoin raised as strong virtual currency in 2010. Today’s global currency is developed in different way and comparing with others currency bitcoin is like more valuable than gold. Good reflection and better control system can make more valuable in economic sector. now by the help of bitcoin selling and buying system is easier than other transection. At age of technology we can collect or hire so many proficient worker for the purpose of different sector’s development and then we can provide their salary through bitcoins because of its popularity.
On above this conversation we don’t need to worry about future of  virtual currency or bitcoins.

It is hard to predict it right now. But as I see if some good news towards bitcoin continuously occured then, it is pretty to say that bitcoin price would probably hit more than what bitcoin did wayback last december 2017, probably it could double more or triple more, who knows? And in additon, as long as bitcoin continuosly exists people who don't engage with it might engage with as time passed by, more.likely people would depend their life on using more than another. And lastly, if bitcoin reached its cap may be it the end of crypto dynasty.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: June 15, 2018, 09:37:12 AM
While browsing the net, I have stumbled on an interesting article were all the advantages and risks related to investing in Bitcoin have been laid down. An excellent, and informative read: http://cryptodetail.com/page/risks-of-investing-in-cryptocurrency

Indeed, all of the list said are true though. Sometimes, we should not always depend upon on our perception regarding to investing we should rather deal sometimes on other's opinion, especially when we are new on the field. It is very tough to invest especially if you are the afraid one on lending out your money 'cause sometimes you always though that something bad could might happen either lossing your money or you would not get any profit out of it.
