801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO] Sphere - Decentralized Social Networking >200,000 users on: December 16, 2017, 07:59:56 PM
I think investors will come, there is a lot of people registered on the sphere platform and a lot of people enjoy the project. I think there is a big place in crypto world for a decentralized social network like sphere.

there are others as well, but that's a good thing. competition validates an idea.
Sphere will certainly have its place next to the Crypto giants, although there are some attempts to decentralize a network, this project presents the previously presented concepts, and brings a better in everything that was flawed, there is still much to be done in this field , but surely this will be one of the pioneers in this improvement

We cant ignore that there is a lot of competition out there on this field but i can see some features with good potential in Sphere. If the team will stick to their road map, who knows what the future might bring but i for one believe in this project.

How much raised during pre-sale so far? I cant find counter on the site... Can you add counter, please?

They will add counter only during the 5th stage of the ICO.
It says on the website, that softcap is reached within 48 hours. How much is softcap, btw?

Still can't find it, which measurement errors the device will have? Does somebody know?
I understand it can be 20% error for home made glucose test, but cancer diagnostics is completely different thing...
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-SALE] [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Fintech, Exchanges and much more on: December 16, 2017, 11:25:38 AM
so if i understand well this project is a way to keep safe personal documents on line,on blockchain, with the possibility to sign documents digitally, and to do quicker kyc,it seems a nice idea to save time and keep in a more secure and private way the documents,i will follow the project with interest
You have all rightly understood, the project will be very necessary in the future.

Not quite right, sir!
The documents are NOT kept online nor on the Blockchain, as SelfKey considers this not secure enough.
The documents are only kept on your personal device. The blockchain is used to transmit only parts (like your age) of these documents. And only after they have been hashed,
so they are useless to any possible perpetrator!

This is a very important point, as storing documents online or on the blockchain is NOT a secure solution!

So when only a small part of the information (like you said the age) gets ransmitted, is this enough to verify your identity? Or will it be necessary to send further information in other packets so that the receiver can put them all together and verify your identity?

Maybe there are cases where the other party just need to know e.g. your age or the country you live in. The advantage of Selfkey is that in these cases only the required information is transferred and there's no need to reveil your other personal data.

Yes, that might be the case. But for occasions where they need more information, I guess they will be sent in small packages and only put together in the end so whenever a perpetrator pick such a signle data package up, it's useless for him on its own.
I think that the less personal information you have to give on the Internet is better. At least I do not like to share it.

You can't really avoid giving personal information over the internet these days. So if it's inevitable to share your information, I'd rather it's stored safely.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO] Sphere - Decentralized Social Networking >200,000 users on: December 16, 2017, 11:10:38 AM
The fact that Facebook has not yet introduced an internal coin to reward activity, is rather a surprise to me. I think this "new competitor" will easily speed up the crypto invasion into the social networking market

I would sure hope so, we would need something like that on social networks markets, it would improve things for end-consumers. Sphere needs to become very big in order to disrupt patterns we're used to.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 16, 2017, 10:31:17 AM
This project reminds me of the new upcoming movie from Spielberg called Ready player one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1677720/ which is happening in virtual reality. Maybe you will get some ideas from after it will be released in the end of March.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-SALE] [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Fintech, Exchanges and much more on: December 16, 2017, 09:42:24 AM
Imho, this project is at the right timing especially in today's ICO's and exchange's KYC requirements which could eliminate  tedious and repetitive tasks which often discourages potential investors.
All those KYC requirements got a big problem cause if you give your personal documents to scammers they can sell it at the darknet.

But isn't it that your documents still will be given to the for example ICO holder, just automaticly in the case you participate?

I don't think it will be automatic, you probably still have to give your consent in order to transfer your documents. You just won't need to fill everything in again, since it will be already there.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚡ HEALTH MONITOR⚡ | Crowdinvesting in innovative medical diagnostic on: December 16, 2017, 09:39:28 AM
Health Monitor , inovation on medical diagnostic i think it can be intersted for people
and for in health to must a increase for system is better ,

If people are healthy and can diagnose disease early is good also for the state/goverment because they can save money. Perhaps public health sector may be interested in financing this project

That is a good point. Actually, Goverments are the one who are capable and should be interested in implementing this system in their respective countries.

I believe it's still too early to go out to the governmental level. The system needs to be proven working before they make any moves that direction. Public sector doesn't welcome any innovations that easily.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][Rentberry] – Decentralized Home Rental Platform on: December 16, 2017, 09:35:20 AM
They have some clients on their platform? Or when platform will start working? I mean firsts clients?

They already have a working website, basically a platform which allows to search for properties, but if you mean blockchain features like smart contracts, payment with berry token, etc. etc. I believe it's gonna be introduced gradually in 2018 and 2019. The first thing they're planning to do is to release iOS and Android apps.

Yes, I saw their platform. but I interesting - when platfrom will transform in life, When will be 1-st clients on their platform  Roll Eyes

I would also want to see all the features working as soon as possible, it should give us so many options regarding long-term renting and make it so much easier.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO] Sphere - Decentralized Social Networking >200,000 users on: December 16, 2017, 09:28:52 AM
Sphere gives power back to internet users and allows them to cash in their data and recommend their friends for rewards. It's true that your private life belongs to you, so you have good reasons to monetize this data. it's promising for the future

I think a lot of people will join only because they wanna regain control of their own personal information. If we get an option to gain something from it - even better.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs... How we can find them? on: December 15, 2017, 04:02:32 PM
There is literary a flood of ICOs now and its hard to find the right one to invest in. You need to do a lot of research if you want to be sure you will have profit from investing.

Is it really possible that someone will be interested in buying or selling virtual real estate?
Come on, seriously?

Right now, it sounds silly.
But if people started shopping in VR world and they are walking in a street full of brand shops and you happen to have a store in that particular VR street, you might be able to rent it because there is high demand.

I can see that happening in 100 years, not in the near future

It is already happening in New York: https://virtualapt.com/ , this is a private company selling real astate with VR

I checked their website, they are using VR to sell real estate, it is brilliant. But its not what we have discussed, we were talking about buying VR real estate, so not in the real world  Cheesy

Well, then we just found another useful thing to do with VR which is actually brilliant. When you want to rent a place you usually scroll trough hundreds of options and with virtual tour, you can narrow it down without even visiting the place.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 11, 2017, 06:46:10 PM
And can there be such a situation that the computing power simply will not be enough?
What does it mean? How can the power be missed?
For example, there will be too many users of the platform, more than computers or miners, who process the virtual world. What will happen in this situation?
In this case, the platform will use reserve power, backup servers.

And who pays for those backup servers?

I think the project itself has some backup servers, but you can test now this scenario because are more users accessing it than "computers or miners". It will be the same but on a larger scale.

I guess they will have to make mining with your computer more attractive and rewarding in order to get more miners to join the platform. I dont think this will be hard to achieve since there is easy money to be made for them.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 11, 2017, 03:32:27 PM
How can people claim their space in your project? For example I know that there will be a land claiming event for Decentraland (another VR Project) will be held in some days to let people claim their spaces. Will there be something like this?

You mean actually claiming part of the virtual space or just their token with which they can pay for services? The first one would be really interesting if you would get an option to buy space next to virtual amazon shop Cheesy
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 10, 2017, 05:23:47 PM
2018 will be the year of VR because we are evolving in every sector of the market and the future of entertainment industry will be Virtual reality and its environment. We have already seen giants supporting VR openly so the project definitely have future.

this project might have a future, but I don't think VR will be adopted as much to make 2018 a significant year. we're still a while away.

If the hardware requirements are met satisfactorily then I don't have any doubt in VR being the leader in entertainment business. I hope the ecosystem finds a solution for that.
the technology of VR equipment is now too expensive. But I'm sure that as the degree of development of this technology grows, the cost of equipment will quickly decline! At least, look at cell phones, they were expensive before, now every student has a phone.

Well, i have a feeling that cell phones are going the other way. After the release of smartphones, they got much more expensive but first the price had to drop in order to get that mass adoption as they have now.  I think the same will happen to VR, you need to make it affordable and popular before you can start making luxurious products.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin go $15000 before 2018?! on: December 10, 2017, 10:44:07 AM
We are all waiting for a big correction but i guess we wont see it for some time. Apparently BTC is so resistant and is surprising all of u by reaching all time high every week.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 10, 2017, 10:38:26 AM
Is this like an amusement park?

I guess somebody could make one of those as well. But is meant for social interactions in general and shopping also.

They actually do use VR sets in amusement parks already.

I could they improve that by allowing each customer to choose the scenery before the ride. Yet another use case.

Usually people connect VR to games and amusement parks which is logical but it clearly shows we still didnt reach the level where we will all realise, that VR can be used in so many other fields. I think mark.space is spot on with choosing this technology since its potential is not even close to be reached.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 09, 2017, 10:57:00 AM
Price of VR glasses is still a little bit too high for everyone to own it, thats why you should figure out how to attract new users to make the investment and join your platform. I hope by the time you will implement most of the features, the technology will be more accessible.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 09, 2017, 09:22:08 AM
This could as well become a social network, it has similarities with how seconth life is working for what i remember, but in there, there is no vr.

I think there is Second life 2.0 with VR, I forgot the name Second life something

But its probably not build on blockchain? I think mark.space might become a good social network with all the different possibilities it will offer. I never tried second life but i imagine you are quite limited there at what you can do.
