801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of Litecoin 2022? on: April 29, 2022, 06:20:59 AM
A bit surprised if there was someone who are still asking about litecoin. It seems like this coin already abandoned since last year and there's no a new thread that was talking about this coin with not utility but non sense claim to be the silver of crypto.

Not true that Litecoin has been abandoned. But we can see it has not performed the way we expected it to. This coin is supposed to be playing above $1,000 but its lack of special utility has continued to make investors shift from it. Its all time high has not crossed $420 while Ethereum has done above $4,800. I used to watch Litecoin like I watched eth in the past but litecoin does not interest me that much to watch again.

803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 28, 2022, 03:48:46 AM

fi you want to be in for good profits and for long term that you dont have to be bothered about price movements. try to forget about getting in early because that will keep hunting you and you always be sad and not make profits even when opportunities come forth. make your decision and be ready to hodl for long .

People to not want to hear this truth you have said. They would rather dwell on the past and regret the mistake they made instead of moving on. The way alot are regretting not getting in early on bitcoin will also be how this same people will regret not buying and holding good altcoins of today in future. I have said it that we have to concentrate on what is happening in the market now and forget the past. It is not late to come in now, bitcoin or altcoins.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First African country adopts Bitcoin as official currency on: April 28, 2022, 03:26:23 AM
Understandable. They probably do not have the technology yet to fully implement this.

To be honest, I didn't know that such country exists in Africa (no offense to those who live there). Upon looking it up, it seems they do not have their own local currency

You do not know anything about the country and yet you said understandable they do no have the technology. Even if you do not know anything about the country but a quick type on Google research would have given you an idea that CAR is a country with its own currency before now. We do not have to condemn everything coming from Africa because it is Africa without researching it. Again we call for bitcoin adoption and we have the mindset of where it will kick start from?
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Installed in Mexican Senate Building !!! on: April 28, 2022, 03:09:05 AM

Women politicians are more bitcoin friendly than their male colleagues. That is a good news to begin with eventhough the media already think that the move is not going to succeed because the Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is not likely to support it. But Obrador is just a single person who can be convinced to take a different stand or his decision can be overruled by the legislative arm of government.
806  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 27, 2022, 05:59:44 PM

807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 27, 2022, 08:44:23 AM
During bear market, turning alts, that I dont feel like going to grow, into Bitcoin always saved me. Maybe this is a feeling, that I am not holding an asset which value might drop to zero, maybe this is a trust to Bitcoin. But thanks to Bitcoin price growth, I have always turned potential losses into profit. Even though I have made a promise never to sell with a loss, sometimes selling with a minimum loss or switching to other, more trendy or promising altcoin works better than holding.

It is when the loss starts coming that we begin to realise that the bear market has started and that is what we are having at the moment. Every crypto is dipping and it is not looking funny. Panic is setting in and less risk investors are selling off in fear. Complains and cries everywhere. We see this pattern all the time. It will happen next year again and years after it. But those who are bold are not scared of this wave. They remain strong and wait for it to pass.
808  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 27, 2022, 05:54:59 AM

809  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 26, 2022, 05:38:30 PM
Tyson na better boxer and I don they follow this man, right from the time even before he started to fight inner demons, and it’s said that Tyson fury against white is his last, because him just announce say him Dey retire from boxing, I really don’t know why but definitely na something him and people close to him don discuss, although I feel him Still get Wetin it takes to fight on, and if him retire truly that means we no go see Tyson fury vs Anthony Joshua, to me it would be a big shame.

Tyson na pound for pound type of boxer. Him own na deh beat me make I deh beat you. Make nobody run. Na real boxing show Iron Mike Tyson deh put up then. Him go deh pursue his opponents round the ring during his prime until them come begin defeat am. Tyson was a joy to watch. Tyson Fury was named after him. E get one interview where Fury use him mouth talk am say him papa too like Mike Tyson and na wetin make am name him Tyson.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops never make money on: April 24, 2022, 07:16:08 PM
Currently, there is still an opportunity to get 10-15 dollars by participating in airdrops held on the Coinmarketcap platform. But due to the large number of participants and the small budget allocated for airdrop, the chances of getting a reward are zero.

If the chances of getting a reward is zero that means it is needles getting into airdrops at all. What is the need. Maybe in the past airdrops paid but today we can not say it is so. Since there is no agency or organization to monitor companies promising to drop their tokens, these companies act how they please and do not keep their promises. It does not bother them what the outcome will be because they know already that they are scammers who do not have any working project. People should be careful before participating in airdrops.
811  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 24, 2022, 06:24:30 PM
That guy na odogwu when e comes to boxing, another person wey me they feel na Mayweather. This guys records dey sweet me. This boxing business money dey am scatter, that figure wey you call na just official, what about other side hustle like betting and partnership etc. This guys dem dey dey on money both in win or lost.

Boss you don talk everything finish about Tyson Fury. The man na giant for the scene right now. Na so the Klitschko brothers Vladimir and Vitali take rule too before they bowed out. Na Tyson Fury turn now. I no like Mayweather style. Him just deh jump up and down for pitch and when he sees an intimidating opponent na so so clinching him go deh do. I watched one of him fights with Manny Pacquiao and nothing much to show there. Abeg those weh deh think about mining for Nigeria, make una calm down because una want to waste una thinking be that. Something like that no go fit go well for Nigeria with government involvement.
812  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: April 24, 2022, 06:34:31 AM
Fury wins again

I know say the victory na wetin almost everybody expected yesterday as na two bankers weh nothing fit cut but as the bout take end na him come be the talk of the town now. That uppercut for Round 6 format  Dillian Whyte brain, nobody go argue that one. E drain all the strength weh deh the guyman body completely. Me weh deh expect the fight to drag enter like round 10 self na so I open mouth keep. But na better money deh boxing o. Guyman just received beating for less than 20mins and carry almost $8 million dollars enter house. Una sure person no go enrol for boxing class?
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING FURY WON IN ROUND 6 ]: FURY vs WHYTE - THE FIGHT on: April 24, 2022, 06:22:32 AM
About his retirement, am sure Usyk or AJ will tease him out of retirement if he eventually retires after this victory over Whyte. And I want that to happen because I want him to fight either AJ or Usyk.

The thing is he doesn't want to fight long enough to realize that he doesn't have it anymore, for boxers the last to give in is the body, the mind still wants it but the body is not reacting to what the mind is saying

He said it that he does not want what happened to Vladimir to happen to him. He wants to exit the stage to give way to younger boxers to come up the ladder. Vladimir stayed longer and enjoyed the dominance of the ring until he got beaten, this he said he wants to avoid. But Fury is just 33 years old and Vladimir he compared himself to was 41 when he retired. I know it is his body and decision to make but am thinking 33 is too young for a champ to quit. He still looks very fit to me, except he is struggling with a health issue.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING FURY WON IN ROUND 6 ]: FURY vs WHYTE - THE FIGHT on: April 23, 2022, 10:47:41 PM

Whyte deserves the $8 million because he is a mandatory challenger I have seen boxers taking home millions in just a few minutes, it's better to see a short match full of action than a long one where boxers just stare and refuse to engage Fury is still great but he is going for retirement based on what I read on one article, is he really going for retirement after this fight

https://www.boxingscene.com/fury-wants-avoid-mistake-klitschko-jones-made-by-fighting-too-long--165718

Am not saying Whyte does not deserve his pay, after all he will need medical treatment after the fight. Am saying getting paid that much as loser within a short time makes boxing lucrative. I bet you that even Whyte would know that he was no match for Fury who is the best out there now. About his retirement, am sure Usyk or AJ will tease him out of retirement if he eventually retires after this victory over Whyte. And I want that to happen because I want him to fight either AJ or Usyk.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING FURY WON IN ROUND 6 ]: FURY vs WHYTE - THE FIGHT on: April 23, 2022, 10:27:08 PM

The bout ended too soon. I was hoping it would drag to at least Round 10 but that was not to be. Whyte could not endure that uppercut that floored him in Round 6. I have to admit that I got nervous when I noticed how often Fury was getting distracted by constantly pulling on his shorts. Whyte nearly got him in Round 3 because of that. My take is that boxing is looking like the most lucrative sport now for athletes. If we do the calculation of the whole bout that will be less than 20 minutes of action and Whyte goes home with close to $8 million. What a business.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 23, 2022, 09:56:13 PM
There is no such thing as being late or early to make money. Anyone who follows the news properly and can make the right analysis can make money. As long as you can use your mind.

Those who did not buy some years ago think they would have gotten it when it was very cheap and that is the regret they all have now. These ones should just focus on what bitcoin is now and make a decent gain out of it. Let the past be and concentrate on what is happening now. Late to the party can also make more money trading bitcoin that those early to it. Just know what you are doing. Not being a pioneer investor is not a curse. Alot of those who missed bitcoin then are into it now. Maybe ten years from now we will begin to realise that those who are investing now are buying it cheap too.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: April 23, 2022, 07:21:08 PM
today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?

You should have put a PIN or password for transaction on your wallet even when you are not comfortable using 2fa. That would have saved your assets. This steps are necessary in safeguarding our wallets but alot of us think it is a stress doing all that checks. Nothing is as stressful as what happens when your wallet is hacked and you try to recover it. I hope the hack is not an insider job or you downloaded a virus on your device for the hacker to have gotten access to your wallet.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: April 23, 2022, 04:55:56 PM
its not a joke, DogeCoin has been around for a long time in the crypto market,
you could even say it's the second coin after Bitcoin, until now Doge is still everyone's favorite,
because Doge has blockchain which is more efficient than others, this is why I can call it Doge not a joke

Alot of those who say it is a shitcoin or a worthless memetoken may not even have used it. They are saying it because they hear others say it. If Dogecoin is a joke I do not think it will still be existing till now. There are many meme tokens created after Dogecoin which have disappeared now. Many of them are pure scam tokens without use and function. But Doge is still here. It has its own blockchain and that shows it is a serious coin, not a joke.

Believe me, Dogecoin is only good for day trading or as a short-term investment. If you're looking for something serious, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

You are wrong here. How many years do you think Dogecoin has been? You talk about long term as if Dogecoin was a new creation. That coin is one of the oldest cryptos.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 23, 2022, 03:08:03 PM

For a gambler the first feeling is that of luck before he deals. He deals and loses. He deals again but this time the feeling becomes that of revenge because he wants to get back what he has lost. He loses again. He repeats the first process of playing again and it goes on and on. Before long he becomes addicted. Nobody gambles if he knows he is going to lose. Every gambler feels he is going to be a winner once he deals. That is why gamblers are the most optimistic people. They are always believing in luck.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found a new hidden gem called AltSwitch. Do you think it will go 100x? on: April 23, 2022, 01:51:16 PM
We are not the same person, however I support this project and I have faith on it

You account and this other two Aadsret and bitmaxaltswitch must be having something in common on this project and you should be open to say it. If you are going to hide and lie now about that how are we going to trust the company and put our money in it. All three accounts were opened a few days ago and are promoting the same token. What other proof do we need? Am sure all three are with the same token. Am not saying the token is a scam but am saying you should say the truth.
