I have 1000 to spend and not sure what to buy?!!!
I was thinking of buying two ETHs but decided to post here and ask your views if there were better coins to spend that money on or 2x ETH is a good idea?
Maybe get Coins that are low priced, low cap and have huge potential in future.
ETH or cheaper coins for better returns in future?

I believe that it is important to collect a balanced portfolio to reduce the rate of one coin, offset by an increase in the rate of the other. Coins must be independent of each other. I would have bought the percentage of 30% BTC - 20% ETH - 20% LTC - 20% NEO - 10% ZRX. |

December 2017 during the high of highs, I made a huge mistake, I allowed greed and fomo, ignored my gut and bought into NXT because I was chasing Ignis airdrop. The coin has since tanked and I still have not received the airdrop. Nxt is probably 80/90 down.
What is your biggest cryptocurrency mistake???
When I first started my acquaintance with cryptocurrency, I chose to invest money and bought xrp for a long time. Since I bought for at least 1-2 years, I did not take advantage of the growth in January and just continued to wait. Now I would not invest a cent in xrp. I think that coin is a Scam. |

I am a normal person who just work in an office that has only small gain of penny. When I was introduced in crypto world, my ideas widen. I now participating on the social media bounty campaign (facebook , twitter etc.) which I gained an amount of token, and exchange it directly on the market. In spending time of bounty campaign, I have a monthly income that triples my office work salary. May I ask an opinion, I want to resign in my office work, and just spend my full time in participating bounty campaign, is my decision correct?
I have a very similar situation with you and I decided that if I earn more on Bounty campaign than my salary for 2 years, then I will leave and will spend more time Bounty. Until then, do it after work. |

So there is Monero, PIVX, BTCP, NAV, VERGE, ZCASH and many others.
Which one is your favorite and think can give the biggest gains going forward.
I'm high on PIVX personally and BTCP. BTCP is a fork of z classic which is a fork of zen cash which is a fork of btc. To have the name BTCP is big too, easy for newbies to relate to BTCP when they know about BTC.
I think it would be a crime not to mention DASH. It is a completely public project, which has an authoritative leader (Evan Duffield) and an established team of programmers and PR specialists. This allows to develop the project systematically, attract new investors annually and increase the volume of market capitalization. The coin has everything to at least stay in the top. |

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.
Thoughts? What would you do?
It all depends on what I bought the coin for. If for the long term, I try as little as possible to monitor its course. If in the hope to earn fast, then definitely sell. The main thing in investing is to remember that you need to invest the money that you can safely lose and that will not worsen the conditions of the current life. |

would you guys consider exchanges that have their own tokens/coins (e.g. kucoin with their kucoin shares, binance with their binance coin) to be generally more trusted/credible, or less, or it doesn't matter much? especially when their own coins contribute the largest trading volume, i always wonder is the volume made-up or inflated (because we never know).
I would advise you to buy and keep these coins in your portfolio. Binance may become the number one exchange in the world in the future. Did you hear the term "unicorns" companies? "Unicorns" are startups whose estimated cost increases to the amount of one billion dollars or more in the period up to 5 years. According to Insider Pro, WhatsApp messenger for about two years was to reach $1 billion, Uber is about 2.2 years, manufacturer of Tesla electric cars – a little more than four years. You to understand the standard companies from the Fortune 500 list had about 20 years to reach the capitalization of $1 billion. Binance for six months reached the level approaching two billion dollars. In addition, if you use this exchange, then using the BNB token, you can save on commissions. WAN was listed on binance today - right now, its price is 14x since ICO ($0.34).
Can someone tell me how is it possible that Binance started to offer this coin for $10??? How they got this price? I dont understand it....it failed to $4.6 right now but still, this is 14x since ICO!!!
If the participants of the pre-sale immediately after the coin enters the exchange will start selling it immediately, trying to make a profit and at the same time other investors will not start buying it, the price will go down. Hi Bitcointalk members, its been a year that i started my bounty and airdrops journey, and i find it very blessed for me, i started last year with Minexcoin, though it was my first time. Guys, for some days now, i cannot connect anymore my Metamask to my Myetherwallet. It only works if i use the private key function, but the "Connect to Metamask" button just doesnt work anymore. Never had problems before...any ideas?

So I can only invest small and have put some funds in some cheaper coins. Then there are these more expencive ones. Is there a point of owning 1 or 2 of each or is there just no chance to make any significant profit that way? Sorry if this is a really stupid question, I'm a noob.
I advise you to change your strategy. It is not necessary to buy a whole coin, you can invest, for example,$ 10 in different coins from the top 20. Read articles about cryptocurrencies, listen to the reasoned opinion to understand what coins have prospects for growth in the future. |

You must understand that Bounty is not a salary, you will not be able to receive money monthly. In order to start making good money you need to have accounts on social networks with a large number of subscribers/friends, a high rank on the forum and it is desirable to be able to write articles or to lead the channel on youtube, as a high payment is given for the transfer of Whitepaper. Maybe it's a good idea to create a list of shit-exchanges we should avoid. Boycott them to death.
1. Hitbtc, truely a shit-exchange where withdrawals can take weeks or even months. They also have no support team you can contact and charge deposit fees.
2. Cryptopia, deposits will take hours to appear into your account and withdrawals can take hours, weeks or months.
3. IDEX, not sure if this falls in the exchange category but this thing is fking slow. You can't withdrawal your tokens without having $50 worth of Eth.

4. Etherdelta! You should avoid it because its really complex to use and you can easily make a mistake.
5. Exmo! Withdrawal of money hanging confirmations to the mail simply doesn't reach, support said most likely spam filter, suggested to change the registration mail and at the same time it requires more than a bank when registering a mortgage, the verification was two times on exmo.com and exmo.me
6. C-cex, You can put C-cex exchange on your shit list. I used it before. These guys are on new year vacation of 40 days. until those 40 days, they suspended all withdraw. How can an exchange go for a vacation of 40 days They have listed mainly scam coins such as MCAP so guys stay away!!!
7. Poloniex, I'm avoiding poloniex because I stuck on this exchange for few months with all my depo while crypto was growing) Support just take silence pause and that was very sad for me)
8. Bittrex, i would also like to add Bittrex to the list of exchanges that you should avoid. because they scammed a lot of their users simply by changing their rules over night. that proves they can do anything they want without giving a shit and do it if it has lots of money for them.
9. Yobit, This is another exchange, which must be avoided. Support doesn't answer a few months. Your money can disappear without the reasons and explanations of the administration. The moderator sometimes appears in the chat, but doesn't respond to your messages...
10. Bitgrail, Add Bitgrail to that list, they are doing some shady business over there it seems.

I believe that such topics are unacceptable. You may have wanted to do a useful thing, but unfairly slandered a lot of good and honest exchanges. This can mislead people who are just beginning their acquaintance with the cryptocurrency and are looking for ways to buy them. I used almost all stock exchanges, buy, sell, withdrawal of funds from them and had no problems. Sometimes the coins were waiting for a confirmation on the network, but this is not a problem exchange. Advise you to point fingers, that this is only your experience and your opinion. |

Hello there i want to build up my portfolio in the crypto world...right now i have started with ether and bought 2 ethereums..every month i will get salary and i will keep building my portfolio and plan to hold them for atleast 2 years...right now my next targets are NEO and WAVES..because by holding them i can earn gas and can lease waves to earn more as well and also these are coins with good potential....Bitcoin is already too high..please suggest me some more coins which i should buy and just hold them or forget them for next 2-3 years

As the title, which APP Android or IOs do you use for tracking and analizing the cryptos and icos markets?
