I think it's simply to make the funding stage can easily hit the cap. If someone do believe in this project they could buy it directly through ICO, then IEO for people that did not want to make direct payment. Also they have some place for hold an IEO, this should make the success rate rise.
Have seen this duo crowdfund process lately and I dont see the reason for it. Multiple avenue may not raise fund faster and has not shown a different response, top exchanges has not struggle to raise fund, which implicate how the choice can be efficient and the fund are now considerable low, I think the valuation is high (50000 eth). They might need to defend it at early stage or rather lower it.
Reply from the CEO The use of the IEOs was done mostly just to reach their user base and gain more public awareness of our project. It made sense financially in terms of advertising costs and reach. Lately, exchanges that are not in the top 10 have been HORRIBLE at having successful IEOs for small projects but they still do make sense in terms of advertising.
Any success we have from IEOs not listed on a top 10 exchange will be an unexpected blessing at this point when our project still has to prove its worth. |

I don't even know the Tokpie Exchange, Indoex is at number 59 Coinmarketcap while vindax has a bad reputation for doing IEO When I see, I still consider those 4 exchanges is small, so that I'm still waiting for the large exchange as their promise. I think 2 of the 4 pieces are just an additional exchange, don't be too fast to judge, I think the big one he promises will come soon. I see some people in BTC forum are wondering.
We aren't adding any more exchanges until after we complete our ico/ieos.
Then the 2 big exchanges will help to launch the MYID price. That is our plan.
By then we should have our next international service center in California ready to open and all these announcements will be broadcast live from the NASDAQ floor in New York
This is what will generate huge hype, demand and publicity.

I think the percentage doesn't matter, plagiarism remains plagiarism. The fact that they decide to copy and paste minus giving credit to the source means that they are dishonest.
Going by the percentage, If a project has a 50-Page white paper and 15% it is plagiarized (7.5 Pages). Do you think it is fair to overlook such?
I would go with citations. If they copy/page -first still they'll have to remove the plagiarism and still needs to cite from where they took that part and credit them otherwise this should comes under the fraud category. I don't know if there is already a conversation about How much percentage of plagiarism should be allowed to different projects in their Whiteperp/ litepaper or whatever they call it. I would like to initiate this topic here. As I have seen some papers got 10% plagiarism where people start calling them scammer, I think Less than 15% plagiarism should be allowed [which is allowed worldwide] as there are many cases where one can not change some terms, as if they do they'll completely change the meaning. But they also should copy someone else's paper and just remove the plagiarism, which should be strictly not allowed. What is your opinion about plagiarism and how much should be allowed in what cases?

The distribution list has been structure to start transmitting the rewards. However, recent inflation in the gas fee has made it very costly. It requires 4 to 5 ETH to transfer all the rewards, while we are keeping it under 2 ETH. The gas fee has been set to 12 Gwei. The transaction will trigger itself when the gas price hits the set spot.

In a project that you create, you must have a professional team because this involves a project that will later raise funds, it should not be arbitrary with a junior team by plagiarizing a whitepaper from various sources and you do not include references, it is the same as you steal with the uniqueness of other people's content, I know that if the project has made a mistake, especially in the plagiarism whitepaper, it can be said to be a scam because they think that there is no trust in it later. Remember a lot with the word "swap is misused, therefore I investigated your project and it is true that they plagiarized this whitepaper for me this is really embarrassing because trying to trick investors with stolen content. I think this much plagiarism may be allowed, not such a problem because there are many terminologies and definations which can not be changed as it might change the meaning of the content.We arent taking any sides here but due to 10% plagiarism i think we can not add a project to scam catagory. In my country 18% plagiarism is allowed. Just saying. I dont know about yours. |

Oh, I didn't get a chance to go through their whitepaper, they reached us to post their ANN thread. I just check the plagiarism of their whitepaper and it seems their whitepaper is 10% plagiarised. Which seems no issue I think. That's acceptable if you ask me.
Nice findings though, I'll lock the thread and ask them to edit their whitepaper.

im lil bit confused here, if you combined the total eth raised from stage 1 (>100 eth raised) and stage 2 (>250 eth raised) = at least they should have 350 eth in their contract address but am seeing only 303.953 eth in this addy. what are we missing here? other eths going to another address? but want to say that this is one of the projects that you can see how much they really raised from the sale. not everybody can disclose their address where the money is going. at least here, you are seeing the 300+eth in their wallet and you know they have that money already. Wrote total ETH raised till those dates/ that seems a mistake I think if we read it in your way. It should have said 150+ raised in the second stage. |
