there is nothing i am afraid.
only thing that you can trust for long term investment is bitcoin. all the other altcoins will go down in the long term and only it is in short term that they get pump and dumped and can give you any profit.
and always try to do your own analysis instead of asking others to tell you what to invest in.
there was one altcoin called DMD (Diamond) that i think had a pretty good stable price and if i am not mistaken it was a POS system. you might want to check that out because i don't have many details on it.
Of course, bitcoin is the best coin for long-term investments. This is the most popular and fast-growing among other coins. Thanks to it, I earned good money, unlike investments in altcoins. |

New ICOs are like pigs in pokes. You couldn’t be sure about the profits of them. Some ICOs like Tezos are looking like fraud, some more successful. Find some ICOs which works during half a year at least. Invest in it. It will be most reasonable way to begin.

OMG coins and ICO is my best. I invested in it about 1200$ in July 2017. Profits for now 5-7%. Turnovers of OMG in the summer were about 16 millions dollars. This is the beginning only. It grow every month.

Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.
I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.
Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Do you mind that it would be better invest this sum in the real sector of economy. My advice first of all is real estate. Cryptocurrency is a hobby for me not more. Sometimes this is quite profitable thing, and risky too. |

I can only say that bitcoin is crashing if the price went below 4000, so lets find out.
Correct, this is not a crash (moreover, the #1 cryptocurrency is raising again). Remember, when years ago Bitcoin lost half of its value? It was about $1K and then it was only 400 dollars. It was a temporary fall. It will grow further! |

I am almost shocked that Bitcoin Cash costs so very much these days. I guess it will be wiser to change it for some other crypto – for instance, Waves, Ethereum Classic, Monero. Maybe BCC is not a bubble, but it will not grow constantly and soon might fall.

You mean altcoins have started to fall again? I do not see anything very strange in it — the previous jump was a kind of a reply to the BTC fork cancellation. Now the situation on crypto market has a bit stabilized — no fuss there. I think alts will grow further, but slowly.

I will agree with the author of the post — I also choose DASH and NEO. However, I would better add into this list Monero and Ethereum Classic. As for Bitcoin Cash, which shows now really fantastic growth… I’d rather wait.

You might have some reasons to hate altcoins. Probably you have got some of them and lost, am I right? There is not reason to hate money, especially virtual. Now Ethereum is a stable crypto, just trade wisely.

I am looking for new altcoins with a penny price. I already missed a chance with Dash, that's why my choice fell on the similar currency of Pivx. You need to buy 10 000 coins and receive a passive income. I believe it must be something about $600 per month. Enough for living I think.

Huge amount of currencies exist without any particular sense. Their investment potential is very low. But they can still be valuable for collections or for promotion cryptocurrency idea in society, something like advertisement.

I would pick ETH and DASH. Dash (first it was called Darkcoin) is a more private version of crypto. This currency provides increased anonymity due to the fact that its network makes transactions virtually untraceable. I love it — safety is always important. Currently both alts show their growth either.

Bitcoin survive and it will follow on growing. Bitcoin futures are a solid and very unambiguous evidence that this King of cryptocurrency market conquers traditional investors. Do not forget also about the coming SegWit2x on Novenber, 15. It will make changes in BTC price either. I suppose it will grow. Alts either.

I would stop on the following altcoins: Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Zcash (ZEC), Dash which was first called Darkcoin, and Ripple (XRP). If I choose one of these alts I would vote for ETH, the second after Bitcoin most stable cryptocurrency on the market.

Yes, Bitcoin costs much today, but it will grow further. Those, who invest into it even now, will get profit. Meanwhile, it is wise to buy Altcoins. Last week they were decreasing, and today I see ETH is over $300 again.
I am glad that I did not sell my alts. I’d better keep them.
