801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: September 25, 2018, 10:51:48 PM
If you are to choose, which one would you prefer to store your money, banking which is susceptible to fraud like identity theft, lost and stolen cards, ATM withdrawal scams etc., or cryptocurrency wallet which is susceptible to cyberspace scams? Why?
Why would I need to choose if I would able to engage myself in both things? No matter which way you would go you are still susceptible to frauds.Crypto is a very great innovation but we would really still need banks on our daily transactions yet crypto isn't fully utilize or adopted yet and when it comes to legalities then theres no doubt that people would still stick to those things which have been used since on the very first place.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: September 25, 2018, 09:29:13 PM
For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?
No matter which way you would go as long you do see that you will able to benefit or simply you can make profits then you are in a good path. Diversification is always the best not only partitioning on possible profits but also reducing up the risk on getting wrecked on a single coin.Just always remember that not all the times those expectation of yours will be precise.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best / safest wallet for storing ETH on: September 25, 2018, 08:02:28 PM
Myetherwallet safe wallet. But you must be careful. In my opinion, using Ledger is the safest.I use Ledger.Still, my wallet is not hacked. However, it is safe to use metamask.
MEW is safe if you are responsible the way you use it. But if you are like those people who's been a victim of phishing then you might blame MEW for being unsafe, this is what they say about it.

Ledger or Trezor is the safest so far, desktop wallets as well as long as you hold the private keys.
Theres no such safety wallet would completely guarantee give you out the best protection and as said you are responsible on its safety because wallets can anytime be hacked if you don't know how to keep those
informations safe or away from other people. MEW is the most common ETH wallet and there are others as well like hardware but when we do talk about security then it would be just the same because you are keeping important informations between wallets.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ICOs trend stop in 2019 on: September 25, 2018, 07:27:50 PM
- 90% ICOs are a scam.
- 90% of people lost their investments on 90% due to the downtrend 2018

So how do you think will the ICOs trend started in 2016 continue in 2019?

All of them are indeed scam and I don't see into those coins on actual usage and just being created solely for making some profits into its dev or just simply like to have a slice on the entire market share.

Ive remembered those years where ICO trend was just starting I do rather see to have lots of potential projects to succeed but now as the time goes by the more shitty projects is being made and if this would continue then we would know on what would possibly happen next.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto a danger or an opportunity? on: September 24, 2018, 07:54:27 PM
Crypto has given a lot of changes to our modern world and its potential is still full to be opened in the whole way. There are a lot of tasks of crypto like saving of privacy, giving new working places and so on. But is it right to consider that crypto will replace usual economics because it has more advantages and potential for the future? I support crypto but I have some doubts about its possible negative future because it could be the danger for some countries that have some serious problems in this sphere.
No one can stop innovation and if things would really come into the time where they would replace things just for the sake of improvement and accuracy then we cant really avoid the thing on such changes. It would surely remove or reduce man-power due to these blockchain technology and that's whats the main purpose on why its being created. It do really give some negative effect but overall it would really be beneficial.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when altcoins stop following bitcoin price ? on: September 24, 2018, 07:15:37 PM
As we notice that almost all the altcoins follow the price of bitcoin . I'm just wondering when they will become independent and don't follow the bitcoin price?

There are instances when some of altcoins in the market doesn't really follow bitcoins price at all but most of the time we are really seeing that price of alts will always go with the same flow with BTC which it isn't really surprising considering that dominance of btc itself will really tell us on how he would dictate the market when it comes on what trend it was heading.Talking about stopping to follow then this thing wont really be that easy yet alts will need to have a sufficient dominance that can able to stand on his own.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which one is better; to buy token or to do bounty? on: September 24, 2018, 06:43:28 PM
Hi I want to hear your opinion about this. What do you guys think about investing in a project by buying their token or by participating in their bounty program. Which one do you think pays more?
When we do talk about who would really give you the best possible return then investing or simply buying their token would really be the advantage since you would able to purchase those tokens on a cheap price but with with more quantity unlike on earning tokens came from bounties which we know it wont really be that big but the difference among the two is the risk ration.Investors would really be more prone to wreck since they pull out money from their pockets unlike on bounty hunters which mainly gaining their tokens from task. You will able to tell the difference.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are a job? on: September 22, 2018, 09:49:04 PM
Do you think bounty hunters are a job in your spare time, additional income or is it the main job and the main income of people?
Job with your spare time then Yes but Job on going for full time then its a NO! Bounty hunting wont really be an ideal thing to rely on since we know that theres no guarantees on making money on here specially nowadays where success rate of projects are too slim then how we would live up into those 3-6 months duration of work and end up on being a scam and received nothing? For sure you are putting yourself at risk.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the path to recovery? on: September 22, 2018, 07:58:47 PM
Today Ethereum had an upward surge by 16% taking it from the sluggish 188 to above 200 benchmark. It has instilled a considerable level of confidence in many people and there are chattering in many quarters about Ethereum being on the path to a massive recovery. Do you share the sentiments?
Not only ETH do really have that path of recovery but i would tell you this that these arent considered to be massive yet it do only increase a certain percentage but still a considerable thing that the market is slowing or gradually recovering. Current price of ETH as of writing is $242.39 which if this run will continue then it would hit up $300.No one really knows but you can really do some short or either for longer holds.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying XRP on: September 22, 2018, 06:12:07 PM
Now Ripple leading on the market with 55% growth. Project turn situation better by one night with news about xRapid providing. I think the price will only grow because a lot of traders wants to get a sweet slice in the future.

In last couple of days market has being turning better for the XRP. We have seen almost more than 100% returns in the this coin in a weeks times. This would bring some respite for the owners of the coin who had being waiting for this days to come.

For those who bought on the dip then they might able to rip off nearly 100% profits but for those who bought on $3-$2 price are still wrecked up.

XRP is growing very impressive. But I personally still prioritize the decentralization and does not take the opposite trend. Anyway, xrp also brought freshness to the market and it also surpassed ETH in a few hours Smiley
Increasing prices would always be impressive but i do agree on what you said which i dont really have any interest into things which are centralized.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: September 20, 2018, 07:43:42 PM
Well, it's not all governments, as there are those governments that on the contrary move and develop blockchain and cryptography, just in some countries, the government used to control everything so that everything passes through them and they earn money, and so it turns out past them, and so they are not satisfied
True, not all governments do have only one view when it comes to things which means decisions would always vary anytime depending if they do saw that it would be either beneficial or a total threat for them.

Loss of control. But they are slowly extending their tentacles, and will definitely be able to get a grip. Luckily, decentralisation will not be deterred, but there must equally be an uprising of use in the real world. Otherwise, only FIAT-cryptos will prevail.

Sooner or later we would really come to a point where people who do engage on crypto would really engage into centralized things. We might able to make dex transactions but we do still end up on using services or platforms which theres already a government intervention.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what qualities does a coin need to survive this bear? on: September 20, 2018, 01:14:46 PM
No qualities are required when you see DOGE.

it really has no quality because the coin will only depends on the users in the market even you have the good quality in the end the end users will judge you if your coin will last.

Maybe that's a kind of quality after all ?
Most peoples want a coin backed by a company because it mostly guarantee a development and (maybe) a ROI.
ROI will always matter and come to think of that most of us jumped in into this market for the sake of profit making and only a few will really just be serious or concern to see the project that can last for long term.
There are really coins in the market which is underrated which their prices are way too low compared to those coins which doesn't really have any use but it just being hyped up and that's why its price do pump.
Surviving this market would always matter on community support because no matter how good it is if theres no support then it would still end up on nothing.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PANDORA.gives - 1098% per year or 3% every day, decide for yourself on: September 18, 2018, 08:10:20 PM
It seems like a business or investment that is very promising, but we all have to remember and learn from previous project projects. look at Bitconnect, what happened? what is experienced by all users or the community?

it's better that you give your money to orphans or orphanages than you invest in this kind of project, never touch it.
Its never been a promising projects which these kind of investment structure are quite old and been known to be like MLM and Hyip types which had been already mentioned above. Only to those people or investors on the top would be the ones to benefit and this wont sustainable for longer runs and come to think 3% on daily basis on your investment isn't realistic at all and which business do last for years with this kind of system?
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: September 18, 2018, 07:21:42 PM
I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank

When it comes on being regulated then expect for this thing to happen where anonymity will be fully discovered once we do able to make such transition.Ill prefer on crypto on having this way yet this is the sole purpose on why its being created.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Most secured way to avoid scam ICO bounty on: September 18, 2018, 05:50:14 PM
Quote
Choose an ICO with a lot of activity.
Well, I actually use this one too. I don't want to follow a project that post nothing and nothing while the project itself is running.

Please provide more information and tips.
Having lots of activity is really good and really appealing on the eyes but I have some experience with these kind of projects too which they do end up on being a scam so it wont really be still a guarantee to be safe.
For op's question those advices or keypoints are good to be done but it isn't really he most secured way and those things aren't too simple to be done by an investor or even bounty hunters.
You wont even know that even inactive ICO can succeed and active ones would failed down.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Building a store that accepts ERC20 tokens on: September 14, 2018, 06:14:10 PM
I know people are trading tokens, putting them on exchanges to sell into either BTC, Ethereum or fiat.  However, are there any examples of projects setting up online stores where these tokens can be directly spent on goods or services?  It seems that using Metamask there ought to be a standard interface somewhere for these kinds of transactions.
Don't know why you do talk about metamask on this one yet we do know the functionality of it and since you do talk about merchants or projects that do have this kind of idea then I would say I didn't see much of those projects do succeed into this matter where having a store that do accepts erc20 tokens.I do rather believe that merchants do focuses out on Bitcoin itself since they do know its reputation when it comes to value than on erc20 which are most shitty tokens or doesn't have really use at all.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin prices now the real price? on: September 14, 2018, 05:05:16 PM
Looking at the investments I made in altcoins this time last year they are now at less than half the price.

So the investor lost faith, doesn't think this technology in a coin is worth as much as he was made to believe (surprise surprise).

You may say that It's because it follows bitcoin, but say you need to stop dreaming and come back to reality because BTC is still nearly double the price it was this time last year.

But are we at the bottom? Is the price now the REAL price of an altcoin.
We cant really deny the fact that crypto do take rid of those joy investors which they do just jump in to crypto just to believe that they can be rich overnight which it did result into a bubble yet the hype continues until most or all coins in the market did able to reach out new ATH and suddenly crash out 70-80% of the price which would really leave out those people who invested on peak on total wreckage and I would tell you this that theres no such thing about real price because anytime it might grown gradually or on large price swings.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: September 13, 2018, 10:28:46 PM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?
Don't know why you do really stress yourself out on ETH price and you are not different to those people who do said that ETH would go to die and if we do try to check the current market condition then we do all see greens as of now.You are not the only one who do worry about this bearish season and about bounty programs then most likely they would really be mainly affected since most coins in the market today is erc20 and to those upcoming projects as well.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is there any benefit of listing tokens on a large exchange? on: September 13, 2018, 08:28:20 PM
I thought this thread is going to be a discussion about listing fees and big or small exchanges. But though you mentioned that you are not advertising this Pumapay, for sure you are holding it right? Idex is one of the most popular decentralized exchange so by being there you'll there thousands of active daily traders. Listing on a big exchange will surely give a coin the popularity and spread for that coin.
When we do talk about big or popular exchange if we do really think deeply I don't really see why small exchange wont able to reach up a token price compared on having it on bigger ones. This do always add up with the popularity and a mix of hype that's why there are sudden effects if a coin is being listed newly on an exchange.Common for people on asking on devs on when it would be listed on other higher exchange since its already been part of our mentality about price increase.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ShapeShift vs. Evercoin on: September 13, 2018, 07:08:38 PM
to convert mining results I often use https://shapeshift.io/ especially if I need BTC, ETH and some other large coins even though the fee is large for one transaction
The shapeshift is opt for the people who don't don't care about the transaction fee and mainly needs anonymity so they can go for it but the traders need to use the exchange with low fee but coming to this discussion I never heard evercoin but it was in the use for very long time but never get reputed maybe they are shady in their activity so better to avoid them and start using the exchanges with good feedbacks in that case shapeshift will be the better choice.
Didn't even hear that evercoin and beside it doesn't even have a website but rather a google app that do acts as an exchange which do sucks and cant really be trust either way.Talking about Shapeshift then this is the only thing I do make use when I do need direct swaps between coins and with anonymity I cant really deny it but as of recent update with shapeshift they are already imposing KYC which do really sucks and I do need to find some alternative which doesn't have that shitty verifications.
