801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponed ICO after bounty campaign on: January 10, 2019, 04:05:45 PM
I think the best decision is to participate in those bounties and hope that they would reach the soft cap, because it is an amazing opportunity of how to earn perspective tokens for low prices. Nowadays there are not so much hunters left.

I find that today there are not too many hunters as well, the projects given are not necessarily good, and many participants may have other ideas such as other people's scamming, I thought little but it could be good  Wink
For a long time bounty couldn't help bounty hunters make money, so I guess there were a lot of people who gave up on this job and looking for another job
that's correct mate.much bounty hunter give up with this condition and finally decided to find regular job so they could earn monthly income to fullfill their daily spend.
If they are using bounty hunters as their main job and it looks very wrong. The result depends on the market and when it gets plunged a lot of assets get less on its price and they will not get any money.
This can become your another activity to spend your free time. There was a lot of reasons why dev postponed the ico.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: January 10, 2019, 02:41:43 PM
Too fast and short XRP reclaims its position from Ethereum. I am still hesitant to invest now, the market is still not good. More often red and no significant changes. How do you respond to this? Will you still survive to buy several altcoins? Thank you in advance.
I will, Didn't you even know if ripple already had the fixed supply while ethereum still not yet discovered it? I just try to accumulate more and more altcoins to be my long term investment. I just put my bet on long term development progress.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future looks bright on: January 10, 2019, 02:26:53 PM
what makes you that the future will look bright?
the year has changed but in fact the price in the market is not growing as fast as we expected.
too long this situation continues I will be frustrated at the market price
probably the future it is in a couple of years.  are we now trying to assess the prospects for this year? but even at the end of 2019, I think everything will be better than now
I saw some articles saying that by the end of 2018 things would be better than in early 2018, but the results were much worse. And I'm not too surprised if the end of 2019 BTC will go down to less than 1700$, everything is possible and the bear market is still here.
If you are still trusting the articles and that should be a wrong thing. articles created to influence the market and no one can't predict the future of cryptocurrency. So far it's still remain unpredictable and just do your own research is much better.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRX: MOMENTUM looks promising on: January 10, 2019, 02:24:38 PM
i bought TRON in 2017 and still hold him, the interesting question is - which price level TRON can reach in 2019?
Not sure about that but it will not reach more than 10 cents. So far after seeing a latest news about hired the former of SEC and then i'm a bit interesting how they wil be working to make it compliance. but if that will fail and the big dump will come.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of bitcoin and independent money on: January 09, 2019, 11:01:36 PM
Very intriguing concept imo ever since I heard about them. I see lots of potential and even though they are not technically a stablecoin, they're generally lumped in with them. I like that they're backed by True Ventures and Pantera. Also, the team is stellar (all from Google and Uber)
I have to say that I do not have such knowledge as you have about who supports whom, because it seems to me that today this is a very intriguing situation that will seem very sad. In any case, today BTC is developing and will do it.

you should look into ampleforth. good stuff. wish there was a video out there about them

yup very stealth project with not a lot of info out there about them. Hopefully they push out some content soon
Most of a good platform is never get a lot of advertisement because they have a big coorelation with the big investors. Im interesting with the idea that will be used by ample forth but just curious about will the idea run as expected by the developer?
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is better than Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2019, 10:58:14 PM
TRANSFER SPEED:
- ETHEREUM is much faster in terms of sending any amount to ERC-20 wallets or wallet that can hold ETHEREUM.

TRANSFER FEE:
- ETH is way low on the fee for transferring tokens or itself.

ICO INVESTMENT:
- If the ICO has a token on ERC-20 then there is no doubt that ETH is better to use than BTC.

OTHERS:
well that is the only thing to have ETHEREUM but i will go with BTC for the other factors.
There's a lot of things need to be considered. all of things that you have already mentioned in your post related to the benefits from ethereum platform while bitcoin offers other benefit just like it's widely accepted by almost all platforms. It can be store value as gold.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: next trend in blockchain/crypto?? on: January 09, 2019, 10:54:58 PM
What do you guys think will be the next big thing in crypto? IMO it's going to be security tokens, microchains/sidechains (like MOAC), cross-chain compatibilities of public blockchains, and gaming/collectibles (like Gods Unchained)

What about you guys?
This will be taxation and regulation. This is the only way to achieve development and progress for future growth.
Regulation will be following the framework has created by the regulators. It's the regulators rights. The next big thing should be about the result in the blockchain development such as the product that used blockchain. I wanna see this happen.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet still work? on: January 09, 2019, 10:53:06 PM
I heard that the wallet MEW may not be used anymore, this information is true. So if the wallet MEW for some reason can not be used then can we use any other wallet?
Where did you hear this information, i already use MEW over 1 year untill now and still work. And if MEW can access again you wallet still can use if you safe the JSON file or private key. And for me i already use so many wallet and i think MEW is the best
You should not ask about that because this is an old thread and you must ask yourself why you still commenting on this thread if you can read all of answers above you that the problm in this thread has alreayd fixed?
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Price Speculation for next bull run on: January 08, 2019, 12:11:11 PM
ETH will probably go to $1000 - $1400 in the next bull cycle when overall market goes near its old Jan 2018 highs.
Prediction can indeed be done but there is no basis that is so clear whether it can indeed rise or not later. this will indeed give so much perception whether eth can go up or not
It can rise, just try to tell you the POS transition is about to start very soon. But it will be divided into some phase. If they will know of majority of ethereum holders can stake and earn interest from the network in the future and they will rush to buy it.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run?? on: January 08, 2019, 12:07:00 PM
When gpu's go through the roof again we will know a run is happening.

By the time GPU prices go through the roof the bull market will already be in full force. You need better indicators  Grin.

They seem to go hand in hand to me.   I know if you wait for the Bull market it is too late.  You will not get reasonably priced gpu's till the market cools.
GPU has been getting a big increase caused by the bullrun if crypto. A lot of miners are rushing crypto and that create a big noise in the miners. The only main thing waiting for the bullish trend of crypto to be happened again. But it may take a lot of time maybe after next bitcoin halving.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will STO survive? on: January 08, 2019, 11:53:23 AM
Though STO looks good and look like is coming to change the face of crypto,we even thought that it will help investors regain their confidence in crypto but withe strict government regulations that them covered, imagine a project that has got a lot of applause from people like DESICO is been tag a scam just because of some regulations which they claim that is not permitting them to pay bounty hunters. My question is,do you think STO will survival? with these strict regulations because many are afraid already.
Have you seen polymath? and the polymath team has paid the bounty hunters. Bounty just a way to create a massive promotion to the STO/ICO or even IPO. Desico is such a garbage STO.
STO will not survive, whatever you called that as ICO/TGE/STO or IPO as long as it was filling all of the regulations and it will be fine.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt is a new hope? on: January 08, 2019, 11:50:42 AM
Hey guys, since bitcoin ETF is not still approved by SEC, Bakkt is the closest big event for crypto community. Do you think crypto market will pump?

I think that Bakkt can bring good growth to the market. However, I am not sure that Bakkt will happen in January. I think that he will again be transferred several months ahead.
It's not happen in this month because it has already finished its ico and then a lot of investors have been putting a lot of money into the bakkt. It will happen in the future but don't expect for short term interval.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less price = more profit? on: January 08, 2019, 09:58:36 AM
when you buy coins at a very cheap price, maybe it can give you a lot of benefits because the price of coins is still cheap when the price goes up, the profit you get has become a lot and depends on the capital you use.
You should mention if you will get a huge profit when the price of the coin can create a big rebound and back again to the price of the coin before it gets plunged a lot. So far that's only working on that situation.

815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: November 28, 2018, 05:20:08 AM
it is hard to hack the wallet and not possible,in rare computers only it is possible to hack the wallet. keep your wallet with strong password.

Right, brute-forcing the wallet is ("almost") impossible.
The actual problem is your private key which - when exposed to the internet - could be stolen (malware, phishing etc.) and that's why everyone should consider using a hardware-wallet, signing his transactions offline and checking the balance using the public key [or at least storing the unencrypted private-key on anything with internet-access]*.

Using the keystore-file (encrypted private-key) is still not very secure as malware could also grab the password while you're accessing your wallet - also make sure to use an UNIQUE password to prevent the attacker just testing your other if those also got recovered and stolen.
But in general I'd still recommend a hardware-wallet or signing your transactions offline as this completely eleminates this scenario and don't store anything to access your wallet on an online-device.
about "password" most of the hackers will try to stole it not to uncover it by using bruteforce or random guess because they will likely have no clue.
There's just so many various ways for hacker to stole people's crypto and that includes the malware to replace your pasted wallet address when you're putting it into the address form making people mistakenly sending their money to the hacker's wallet.
as a user of hardware wallet up till this date, this thing just flawlessy secure my money with the tested method of sending money, including double checking the address in the computer and in the hardware wallet itself.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i lost my private key of my etherdelta account on: November 28, 2018, 05:09:32 AM
Very pitty, but it's blockchain and only you responsible for holding your private key, there is no customer support on blockchain services, nobody could help you.
Services like coinbase or any centralized exchange will still provide you customers service though, but a decentralized ones like etherdelta will not because the whole exchange site was made to be automated and there's no interfere from human except listing the coin there.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you care about product? on: November 28, 2018, 04:41:17 AM
Depends on the product to be produced. If I need and need to use it, for example, the product in the form of exchange, wallet, an application about cryptocurrency, etc. then as much as possible I use it.
Product of a project exists because it's needed, if you by any chance don't need it someone else will but judging from your need it seems that the majority of the product resulted from an ICO will be around your coverage so basically you care about it.
However I find myself rarely stick to a new developed product unless there's the stable version, not gonna put myself into a risk.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP really better than ETH??? on: November 28, 2018, 04:36:25 AM
some times give good performance indeed ripple in this competition. and the time it became quite a long time which can survive and shift the ripple ethereum. between the two I think are just as good and have advantages and disadvantages of each.
It's more of which one of these two have stronger capital, it's already known that XRP is supported by so many banksters even they are making cooperation.
Ethereum in the other hand supported by the existences of ICO that could add quite of their market capitalization and totally not about the feature they have.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will end the hype of ICO ? on: November 27, 2018, 10:39:53 PM
Every day more and more ICO collect money, and then disappear. Do you think we need sanctions for ICO?

I think that hype has already passed. Now everything is on stream and most likely we are closer to stabilization. For this reason, I think that the mad popularity of ICO has already passed
It is, even there's some article mentioning how the flowing money to the ICO reduced, however I don't think that's due to the hype that's gone but more of because the rate of the crypto right now that's significantly decreasing to the point where the crypto right now has down for mre than ~15% and that's really crazy.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FIAT pairs in exchange on: November 27, 2018, 10:31:19 PM
It's the regulation that matters the most, most of the exchanges is accepting stablecoin that's tied with fiat and it's basically the same anyway.
However, I can rarely find someone who can pass the regulation on withdrawing their money to fiat, in this case for example, if the fiat is USD then it must be an american citizen who withdraw the money.
