We have different reasons yet each people do have different insight when it comes to gambling. Those things above are common reasons.
The common reasons would be to earn money and only handful of people who are clever would enjoy the time and entertain them self. As this would not stress them even if they lose money would consider it fine as a entertainment fees or something like that but same case if people who want to make money from the gambling start losing their stress level also start increasing. |

I think if Facebook promotes crypto currencies, this is a good thing because it can increase the growth of investment in crypto currencies, this will make crypto currency prices even better than now, I think I will support that too.
That has a possibility but if I am going to predict it, in the near future facebook will be the only use for transactn and communications. Yes as of this time that happens but time will come it will fully for cryptocurrencies commitment. Their are lot of things may consider to become successful just be good. Social media is going to play a important role for sure now whether will it be FB or some other will be known in coming time. Even if FB or any other media can be used to promote the crypto currency it will help a lot as today youngster are all online and on social media platforms so it will add as a booster. |

Cryptocurrencies are here for 10 years and still no goverment in the world didnt kill cryptocurrencies, so if they didnt do it until now, they will not do it in the future.
Few government have banned it and some of them have made it illegal tender which is not a god sign for crypto currencies as those results in a negative way to the other country and might be possible that some of countries may just follow them and put a ban in their country as well. |

I think the bitcoin price drop is very normal. If its price grows indefinitely, bitcoin will really die when no investors try to buy it!
I hope people read it and understand as anything they say that it is bubble, it is dead, it will end their is nothing happening of this and if it has to happen than it would have not survived for 10 years and still trade above levels. It has one of best future and in coming years it will be primary requirement. |

I think facebook campaigns are useless , every one can make dozens of facebook accounts and make thousands of friends in each of them , I think reddit is more professional in that case to involve people with cryptocurrencies more .
It is true but I would still feel that Facebook is not that useless because if you consider out of thousand who participate their would be certain % who might create a fake etc but rest of them their would be genuine as well and today where majority of youth are on Facebook it is the best way to advertise and reach to the audience and let world know about the project. |

Bitcoin had held around $6000 support area most of this year, only to breakdown below it some days ago. It can bounce back to $6000 but getting above it may take longer.
It can easily cross 6k this year itself as already it is trading at 4k levels now. Still 31 days left in Dec and even if couple of days we see the upwards movement in bitcoin market would rise and cross couple of thousand dollars in quick succession. Hope market to recover and bounce back strongly in December. |

Going in vacation or doing a hobby of yours is not really a definitive solution to quit gambling. Sure it helps to go on vacation but as long as you have your cell phone with you , you can still gamble from wherever you are. Doing a hobby will keep you busy for a few hours but then after you finish you will be back in gambling.
True definitive solution is to ask professional help.
Professional help will only add to your expenses, and it will be useless if you don't have the desire to leave, which is cured is not your habit but your mind and heart. if you intend not to gamble again and commit to that promise, then you can definitely get out of gambling It is so important for people to understand and learn that what they do in gambling actually can spoil their life or rest of the future if they get so much addicted to lose money in gambling and not having so much control where they know when to stop or play. |

Just keeping this thread active to keep the convo going. As of today, the blockchain industry in India is thriving under the hood but I see too many people interested and working on this tech.
It is good sign if many corporate start coming and start using the block chain and crypto currency in their business. This way it will boost this technology and also a new sector might just get open and creates lacs of new opportunities among new young people. |

I think, now it's hard to find a good bounty because the current market conditions are still bad and there are many bounties that end badly and are extended, so I'm also having a hard time choosing a good bounty
AT present it is better investing in all the listed best altcoins and bitcoin as market will start to recover so all this coins are going to jump like 30 - 40% in a day which will give you better profits in the short term for sure. If you are looking for long term and can find the genuine ICO after your research then you can still invest in those as well. |

My first bet was Fernando Torres for top goalscorer in Euro 2012 & it won. I’ve had lots of successes since then, lots of losses too though but that’s gambling hey  Hope overall you would have made money rather than losing it because that hurts badly. If you consider and play for fun than it is fine as people do not bother for fun and entertainment even if you lose some money, but for those who just play to win feels bad and sad after losing the money in gambling. Also it being 6 years before you started and still hooked with it, is it? |

2018 is already better than 2017.
Don't be fuled by prices, just look at people interested in bitcoin and other cryptos, their number is increasing and this is what matters.
Finally the expectation and reality has turned out to be different. It was thought that 2018 would be a better year but till now we have seen how markets have fallen resulting into heavy losses for people . Though in last couple of days it has started to show a positive sign moving upwards and Dec is still left so will it recover and bounce back to above 10k is now the question as does not seems it can reach anywhere near 2017 high price. |

He thought he was on a winning streak and couldn't possibly lose. He got greedy and careless, and lost it all and some more. He should've at least put some of the money aside so he wouldn't risk losing it all.
Why do you call him greedy? It should be called a turmoil, that's a more accurate description of what the gambler is going trough when something like this happens. It doesn't matter how we have to call him, but a question arises in my mind. What did he think about when he got the chance to go with $ 500,000? Is that not enough for him so he continues to play or are there other things that continue to persuade him to keep gambling? Tbh, people can win sometimes, but if they keep such behaviour, then there's no way to get good result from gambling. That is literally means that we can't make successful results in long run so people need to keep asking themselves if they are playing or gambling for too long without much rewards that is it actually worth to spend money here to make money then they can get themselves away from gambling. Correct. Gambling is a vicious cycle and that's the key in stopping it, when you realize you're in a vicious cycle, it's not you being greedy or making wrong choices (when it comes to some randomness) - it's this vicious cycle. I do agree some sports can be fixed and some people might benefit from it but 99% of the population who gambles doesn't gamble like this, people bet based on their research/guts/instincts/etc. Those who are smart and have control on themselves will take the money if they had won and move away. But rest majority of them will get trapped int eh vicious cycle of greed and to become quick rich and will continue playing and the end result we all know it. |

I don't think that there are people who know this for sure, he is the founder of the most popular coin - btc but there are so many versions who is he and what country he is from that i don't know whom to believe.
The fact would remain that probably we may never know who is he whether a person or a company or group of institutions etc . Nothing is clear and to which country it can belong to is also a question . But it has revolutionise the world as something which could not be thought is being created . |

Don't put all your monry in one coin so if your preference is thse two coins then split and invest on both but for me bitcoin is more preferrable than any other cryptos so I will pick bitcoin for 70% of my capital and the remaining into other coins.
If amount is big then never should be invested in a single coin. Always should have diversification so that you are not holding the coin which is dropping but having multiple would give you the best of the profits or results and make your money grow as well. If your investment amount is very less then it can be thought of investing in single coin. |

I think we still have the opportunity to hope that ethereum can rise again, when there are still many ICO projects using ethereum it can be a hope that there will be more people interested in buying ethereum and making the price increase.
ETH will be back again and last week itself it was at 110 sort range and today it has move up till 122$ so in just less than a week people have made 12$ per ETH which is a great thing as slowly and steadily if it keep on rising it is better than just pumped suddenly and then takes a fall back which could be more dangerous. |

You are crazy man, and you really need to recover from this, do not ever try to gamble again, because it is just pure adiction in where you can not leave easily.
Gambling is such a thing that even a rationale person become crazy about money and the result is before us. That is the reason people recommend that do not go behind money while gambling just play for fun and to entertain yourself had this being case with OP, surely would not have lost such amount. |

I think in India now their is not market has government has made it that it is not a legal tender and this has discouraged the people of India to use it as government is not going to support cyrpto currencies as far as till now their decision which they have taken make it clear.

All we can do is to wait and see.
Whales are manipulating the market in a way to push small investors to sell their Bitcoins to them.
Making us frustrated is what they want.
Big players might have dumped at 6 or 5k and now once it breached 4K levels they would have started back buying . This way when demand push up even price will rise and they will sell high and make huge profits for them self . Same thing we need to do it . |

Both coins have fallen a lot due to the btc price fall. TRX has being like the worst hit coin and down by a huge price difference compared to its high. Ideally investing in both coin is going to make sense as people can allocate the certain % in ETH and rest in TRX. This would help them to even balance the portfolio to some extent and get benefits of both coin during the bull run.
