holy toldedo.... I was in bed and got woken up by someone pounding on my door - needless to say I was about to shoot someone... it was damn UPS delivering my T15 --- so I am going to go set it up and get back to ramping up!
didnt fully ramp down in the 3 weeks I was offline... went from 23 th/s to 7.23 th/s so with the increased hash, it hopefully wont take 3 weeks to ramp back up and I hope the pool hash stays this high. its nice having larger payouts with a smaller pool but it is also nice to see more blocks, even if payout is a little less.
miner is set back up and should show up soon.
well maybe not... it wont start, all I can tell from the logs is that it cannot get temp readings from the board and keeps getting an error - CRC ERROR = 59541
and it just starts over... has done this 4 times... dandy....
well the error code changes but its basically the same result, it restarts and goes thru the process again... something to do with something being "unbalanced"
If I have to send it back again - I should not have to pay the shipping again...

final edit :/ it had old firmware, i updated to the newest, it is now hashing away.

nice! a second block by 16vV8! let's hope he gets a hat trick eh?

good job @16vV8! I am still ramping down but this block still got me $30 worth of BTC so no complaints. hope to have my T15 back by end of June. and the T17 should be shipping soon.
The beauty of PPLNS! indeed, I have been offline since May 14th, and have gotten rewards totaling .02573325 or about $204 worth of BTC

another question, I have asked before but I cannot figure it out --
how do I set different profit profiles for my SHA256 miners? I have tried adding additional ones but whatever I set for one SHA256 miner it sets all of the SHA256 miners to the same one. This does not work for me as some are S9's (all of which do not use the same power) some are T15's and some are T17's --- all of them use different amounts of electricity and I would like to set it for each one separately.
First of all you need more than one profit profile. Please make sure you define for example a S9 and T15 profile in the Options dialog, Profit profile section, where you can add additional profiles. Each profile are configured independently, making it possible for you to specify one hashrate+power for the S9 profile and completely different numbers for the T15 profile. In the Properties for a miner, you can then select if it should use the S9 profile or the T15 profile as "Profit profile". Maybe that is my issue - what I do is click on the miner, right click to get "Edit Profit Profile..." option and then on that screen that comes up (algorithms), I created additional SHA-256 items there with different speeds etc but it always assigns the same one to all the miners. When I go thru the way you said, it works fine. I believe you told me this before but I misunderstood - thanks! nvm... i did this and created multiple profit profiles and set them but I dont see how to select them for the miner... i go thru the motions but it still shows no stats and now my power usage is zero. and nvm again lol I found it, I have to go to External Miners after creating the profiles, then I can assign the miners to the profile. so now much better.

Yes, it will be included in the next release.
thank you Patrike also, I have not read all the back posts - have you managed a way to get ssh into the bitmain miners yet? or have they released a firmware allowing it? There are no solution to the SSH limitations yet and it looks like Bitmain are continuing to release new firmware with SSH disabled. I've been trying to get Bitmain to implement a setting to enable Privileged API access, but unfortunately no progress on that request either. A while ago I added the features to set Default Pools and Reboot by connecting to the Antminer web interface instead of SSH - but those where just workarounds for the fact that SSH wasn't available. ahh ok - the BW L21 miners are also API restricted as well

does AM properly support the bw L21 miners? my AM detected the miners and shows that they are mining but the stats are all wrong - no temps, doesnt show pool info, the accepted shares are in the trillions with zero rejected and zero hw errors - it also does not show the hash rate.
This miner is supported, at least previous revisions of it. Even in the past this ASIC has always reported crazy number for the total number or share and total hashrate. What Awesome Miner do is to detect that it's a miner of this kind and then recalculate everything based on each individual ASIC device to get numbers that are accurate. It might be that more recent revisions of this ASIC is a bit different and Awesome Miner isn't able to detect it correctly. Could you please send me the API report (toolbar: Tools -> API Report) via mail or PM and I will see what changes they might have introduced and how to do another workaround. Thanks! pm sent with the API log Perfect - thanks for the log! I had to make a small adjustment to get Awesome Miner to detect this miner as a BW-L21. Once that detection was updated, it shows up fine. nice! so in a future update?

I ordered three of these, they took about a week to get here - the packaging was a bit beat up and the miners suffered (2 broken fans) but minerslav gave me a partial refund so that I could get replacement fans at no cost to myself.
the miners do run a bit higher on the power than advertised - 910 to 950 watt range. Other than that, they are all working fine and in just around 22 hours on viabtc pool, I have earned 0.06327947 LTC or about $7, might hit $7.50 or if lucky $8 by the time I hit 24 hours.

Only someone that acts like a child would leave poor fb when we didn't even do a deal. So my fb will stay untill you remove yours fair?
I believe the deal that WhyFly is referring to is the auction you won but then he claims you never paid - which you are claiming no deal was made, though the posts clearly show you won the auction.

this guy again.... never replies, never shares any info more than what is in original post... and as usual a new account but one that is very similar to his other ones.

i personally believe those designs should be open source anyways. After what many mining companies have done to maximize their profits at the expense of the miner.. i dont really see it as stealing. Did they make their own actual boards? The case appears to be yes.. and this is likely to be the same company/families sharing the plans and making a new company. Its not exactly secret technology by any means.
it is not the same people - the guy who developed them is the one that originally stated they stole his programming, his design and basically copy/pasted his sale thread - the original poster was banned from the forums because of the plagiarism even. This is all very interesting.. so they stole the method to fabricate the chips? Or they actually stole the microchips? Im very confused about how they went about doing that. they took one of his units, tore it apart and reverse engineered it basically - it is all explained if you read this thread from the start. Excuse my ignorance but don’t asic chips have to be fabricated in big factories? the chip yes - but the rest of it - because there is more than just an asic chip here - has to also be engineered/fabricated/made/put together - they did a copy of it --- did not create/make their own in other words. then their for sale post was just a straight copy/paste of his.

The dust you earn if you are below 10,000 satoshis (dust), will wait in your account until I complete the new accounting and new payout ...
any update on that? I believe your original goal was to have it done at the end of last year?
