821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safety of your private key on: October 26, 2018, 06:18:02 AM
Well your wallet is where you keep your coin safe and it always important to protect it
One of the best way is to protect your private key never give it out to any one even if it's your mentor that is very important
This is for new guys like me

If you're using a wallet based in private key (Myetherwallet, Metamask etc) the safest is to archive with password the file containing your private key and, if course, not to holding it on online platforms (e-mail, google drive etc).

Personally, I'm a big fan of cold wallets. I bought a Ledger Nano S, it has no private key, funds cannot be stolen from here and this is definitely the safest solution existing today. (It costs ~100$, but it worths every single penny  Smiley )
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: October 26, 2018, 06:11:59 AM
How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? There are people using very fine techniques like selling bitcoin cash in name of bitcoins using confusing websites name. How to be safe from such scams ?

You can start to buy Btc from localbitcoin and trade face to face. If you start with lower amounts, you can increase the transactions when you're confident that the seller is not a scammer.

Another alternative is to trade directly via well known exchanges: Binance, Bittrex etc.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of hacks, whats the solution? on: October 25, 2018, 05:46:03 AM
If people would use more cold wallets (Ledger Nano S, Trezor etc) instead of keeping their funds online on Exhanges hackers would be discouraged to perform so often attacks.

It's sad that people prefer less secure nethods just because they are free, then they come crying on forums that their tokens got stolen. A Ledger Nano is ~100$, is not a fortune and it help you to sleep better knowing that your coins are safe.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where To Invest 500$ on: October 25, 2018, 05:39:49 AM
If you're new in cryto, just try to buy stable coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum ... rather then doing day trading, as you might lose easily your investment.

Day trading in crypto would be very difficult due to liquidity issue that can cause big price gap (up/down) which can be positive or negative impact on you. I suggest that you trade with holding (maybe a 30 day holding period will be better). Unless you trade in BTC which itself has lots of liquidity.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest on altcoin on: October 25, 2018, 05:32:06 AM
90% of cryptos are bubbles, also bitcoin is a bubble and the only currency based on deflation which makes it totally unsecure in the long run.. rest of the new outcome cryptocurrencies are theoretically the same as pennystocks which going broke after the latest High in most cases. Always di a lot of research before investung your money.
826  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Bitcoin bullrun this year. on: October 24, 2018, 06:29:01 AM
A lot of people telling that there will be no Bitcoin bullrun this year. Do you think it is TRUE? I am worried because Bitcoins price might fall to the lowest this year.

If you entered in cryto you must know that market is more mature now and quick wins as in 2017 won't happen anytime soon.

Even if there will be not a bull run thus year, this is not the end of the world and you should not panic. Sooner or later market will recover as its potential is still huge.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin become global currency in next 20 years? on: October 24, 2018, 06:23:07 AM
In year 2000 there was an end of IT bubble on global stock market. Guess what happened before? Everyone was buing stocks of IT companies, no matter what this company was doing, no matter if this company had profits or not. Company making shoes decided to go into IT market? Great, stock price was 100% up in less than a month.
Thats bubble.
Growth without any reason.

Can any crypto coin be replaced?
YES, we may have new very popular coin that may be more popular than BTC.
Can Euro or USD be replaced?
NO
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: October 23, 2018, 09:31:06 AM
Hey guys. Ethereum is looking really bad today. 200$ is lower than on September 2017 ;( Do you think it will recover with crypto market? Or this is the end of ethereum?

Ethereum is still one of the best cryptocurrencies. It continues to develop constantly and the end is not even close.

The current price of 200$ is only the result of almost one year of bearish market, but if you compare the decreasing of many other altcoins, 200$ for eth is not that bad.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXPECTATION Vs. REALITY Bitcoin in the Eyes of the People! on: October 23, 2018, 09:24:41 AM
Most people still think that investing in cryto is just a method to become rich overnight. But this is not true, or at least does not work anymore as in 2017.

Market became more mature and only good projects with areal utility will survive on the new cryto market over the end of 2017 hype.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing value is nothing surprising, will continue on: October 23, 2018, 09:16:08 AM
When we invested in crypto we assumed that the market is very volatile. When you think you didn't make a wise decision remember the pizza bought with 10k btc.
I think, hey ... it has worse, I could have gave up 10k btc over a single pizza.
Regret is a strong word, but he didn't have how to know that btw would reach so much high value.
However, if you were hungry to death, wouldn't you give them up to eat?
Maybe he was hungry to death lmao
831  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will a coin die? on: October 22, 2018, 08:10:43 PM
I don't think bitcoin is going to die. It will always be known as the first crypto and will continue to lead the entire crypto market. As for the whole cryptomarket We'll probably see we'll probably see 10-20 trillion market cap in a few years from now.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation on: October 22, 2018, 08:05:55 PM
We need to keep in mind that without bitcoin blockchain wont be discovered , so we should still give credits to bitcoin because he is the real father of all cryptos . Bitcoin isnt a scam as some might think because it is decentralized which means no one hold or controls it not even governments or banks.

835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Power Consumption on: October 18, 2018, 06:40:08 AM
In most of the countries, energy is quite expensive and at the current price mining is no longer  profitable. With free electricity, it definitely can be profitable.

With paid electricity, things look a little different, because your profits are a lot smaller AND your equipment gets old/outdated.

With every coin that is being mined out there, the next one requires more power to be mined. That's why I prefer to stay out of such investment when I know that in X amount of time, my miner will mine less value than it consumes.

With free electricity, we can assume that you make $3 per day. As time goes, you will make less and less every day(assuming you mine the exact same coin AND its price doesn't move).

Of course, you can always mine different coins, but it requires constant research on which coin is the most profitable to be mined right now.

Even though the crypto market is not as volatile as it used to be, it's still pretty risky and prices jump both up and down a lot.
836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: October 18, 2018, 06:31:43 AM
I don't think Bitcoin will drop that much this year. However, everything is possible in cryto. But no matter what, Bitcoin will continue to exist, contrarily to many people seeing Btc as a scam, which is bit true.

Any company your are not a team member and you are not in control of things directly means you can't predict them. Saying BTC is a scam, ponzy scheme makes no sense since BTC value is controlled by real influential men. We are just here...what we see is what we have.
Writing about BTC will not make it rise/fall tomorrow. Even the so called BTC price prediction sites fails a thousand times.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2018, 06:26:19 AM
People who call bitcoin a ponzi scheme/scam forget the fact that USD is a way bigger scam than BTC but it's still going on decade after decade. BTC at least has a known and limited supply.

Only way BTC can hit new ATH is inflow of institutional money, which it seems gearing up for...
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2018, 04:14:46 AM
I think Bitcoin is great but it needs to fix its main issue, volatility, to be considered a currency.

Volatility, IMHO, is an issue in terms of mainstream adaptability, because there is a limited supply of a coin and majority of the people HODL. It takes only one huge fish to dump everything to the market for the price to plummet. Now let's say you are a business owner, who accepted crypto in december selling your goods. You sold 1 btc worth of goods ( which was around $20k for the sake of the example ) 3 months later 1 btc drops to 6k and now you are in a loss.

And since nobody can predict the movement of btc, it doesn't seem too appealing to adapt it, because you might win, you might lose. How can you call it a currency, if everyone HODLs.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Acceptance. on: October 17, 2018, 04:11:29 AM
Millions of people use cryptos and Bitcoin already and the nunber is increasing.

Bitcoin is so much superior to the US dollar, there's no comparison. It is traceable, impossible to steal without leaving a trace, it's decentralized and you can run your own bank at home.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Relationship between Altcoins and Bitcoin on: October 17, 2018, 04:06:52 AM
Alts are closely linked to Bitcoin. When btc drops, usually alts drops too and vice versa.

I am basically a huge supporter of cryptocurrencies in general. However I think that Bitcoin will go way beyond 20K mark. Not because of the tech but because it acts and the leading crypto. I know that this will not be the case forever but I'm pretty confident that no other currency is going to replace bitcoin for few years (in terms of popularity - not the market cap). I'm a huge supporter of waves, Iota and stellar.
