821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What products and services are inherently better bought with BTC? on: July 15, 2011, 07:09:41 AM
Digital one time services. Micro payments which aren't realistic with normal currency.

Why not move forums to some civilised country?
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-EUR chart?(other currencies too) on: July 13, 2011, 10:39:53 PM
Is there any site with chart BTC-EUR for Mt Gox, or combined. This would give clearer idea on price against local currency, USD isn't good as there is fluctuating exhange rate between EUR and USD...

The BTC/EUR calculated using the BTC/USD from Mt. Gox can be found here:

Is the historic chart on this info anywhere? Thank you for this one though.
824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: World of tanks - Cheap serial. STEAM on: July 13, 2011, 10:34:34 PM
I'm playing it just right now, I haven't paid a cent. It might be beta key, but beta is over...
L2read, MULTIPLAYER AND/OR MORE TANKS.

I don't like people scamming. The game is multiplayer only, there was a closed beta, but now it's open to everyone.

So basicly you are selling something you have no idea what it is. It might be some promo, but not needed to play the game.

It's free just go to site:
http://game.worldoftanks.eu/registration/

And register. P2W, basicly you can buy premium tanks and subs for money, but basic game is free.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wow, this is Better than Bitcoins! on: July 13, 2011, 09:38:53 PM
Bitcoin is different from collectable fad and tulipmania.

Acctualy people should read Wikipedia page about tulipmania. If I got part right there weren't traded any pulps at all, but just futures(which likely never were being paid), which is different from BTC.

It's quite  hard to say what the destiny of BTC is, but there certainly will be some changes in currencys aroun world, hopefully the loan-bubble will go down, and more balanced currency take a place...

Feel free to help poor student!

The full address doesn't match the firstbits address.  Confusing.

Two wallets on two computers. Maybe I could ditch other one.

831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What programming language to learn? on: July 10, 2011, 01:41:49 PM
I wouldn't personaly suggest C as first, too much work unrelated to programming itself. In my opinion more high level language is somewhat easier to start with, just for geting in loops, if/else and such. No need to deal with C's strings, pointers and memory managment and so on.

Now when I'm learning Python, it seems so simple compared to C Grin

Personaly I went Java->C(/MIPS)->Python, next I think C++, but this is all in University.
832  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Show your firstbits - get 2 bitcents on: July 10, 2011, 01:26:31 PM
<-- Added mine   Smiley

how do we create a custom firstbit address?
great site btw!

Generate new adresses untill you find a new one. Send coins to it, wait  and check your firstbit address on site Grin

Lovely one Q. Diz

I might have to adopt that one.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FirstBits.com - remember and share Bitcoin addresses on: July 10, 2011, 12:36:41 PM
If the check-sum ever happens I just want to give idea out. It could be the first character in firstbit address. So it can't mess up the later addresses. Not sure how it should be calculated, but it is logical solution if checksum is needed.
835  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who needs an invite for Google Plus? on: July 09, 2011, 07:16:39 PM

836  Economy / Currency exchange / WTS 1.38BTC on: July 09, 2011, 07:11:56 PM
Cashing out. Prefer someway I can get it on paypal, but SEPA might be an option too.

Only users with some history.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mtGox SEPA Transfers again on: July 09, 2011, 09:57:28 AM
So they can't handle one of the core-areas of their bussiness? I think I choose some other service provider for myself.

BTW, next year it will be worse if next day transfers I have heard is true...
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should the exchanges close on the weekends? on: July 09, 2011, 09:52:54 AM
I belive in total 24/7/365 society. No artificial limits by time or cycles of cosmic events.

No, but banks should open on the weekends Grin
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mtGox SEPA Transfers again on: July 09, 2011, 09:46:52 AM
They should get account in some European bank inside SEPA. It shouldn't be an imposible solution and fees might go down... I pass mtGox untill they get SEPA transfers to max 3. banking days.

840  Economy / Economics / Re: When US debt ceiling is lifted . . . on: July 02, 2011, 08:16:50 PM
Nothing changes, it just moves the inevitable. One day our current system will crash. As I don't live in USA, I don't belive it would be any different from past. Effects of the crash are just much larger.

Either default or hyperinflation... Or both...
