DMD is making me really happy lately. I've been heavily involved in crypto for the last 3/ years and lost some money along the way but DMD was definitively my best bet!
It's great to see this coin steadily rising, supported by with a solid community.
We all have reasons to celebrate!

What are the differences between before-ico and ico?
Can someone please ban these morons?

0.015 BTC sent to the given address. Sorry for the small amount but I don't have a lot to spare at the moment C'mon DMD community, let's get this done!

What are you doing to help improve the situation? We all have a role to play! We cannot just sit and wait for the price to rise, that's not how the world works. Get the word out, put a logo in your blog, talk to your friends about it, show it to your family, make a real contribution instead of just complaining here. Sorry for my bitterness, but I've been here for some years and I'm sick of people bitchin about the price and waiting for others to make their investment profitable. DMD, like so many other things in live, is an opus ensemble

4000 DMD split into 20 blocks of 200 DMD each should give a decent POS return after a few weeks. Be smart, don't sell

The best advice is.... Relax! Take it easy Don't do anything foolish like selling in panic. Everything is fine, these fluctuations are to be expected. There isn't a single example of a cryptocurrency that keeps rising, and rising, and rising... All of them have ups and downs. DMD is no different! Have been involved in crypto for the past 4 years, I've had my losses and profits and the biggest lesson I've learned is that panic is always a terrible counselor. Like I said, don't panic!

hopefully price will bottom out soon, with almost half of all DMD locked away in masternodes i thought this would really help sustain the price....i guess there were alot more speculators around the 3.0 release than i thought
$10/dmd was really nice when it lasted...
My impression is that this downward trend is not caused by speculators, but by master nodes who sell some of their earnings. As soon as we reach phase 2 of DMD v3 coin distribution it will be much harder go get any serious amount of DMD. That would be a paradox; the ones who have more invested in this coin are also the ones drowning it? I believe masternode owners are the prime stakeholders and therefore the ones who have more to gain from a higher price. I can only speak for myself; I own a masternode and I'm nor selling a single DMD!

Hi experts, I have some general questions regarding Diamond coin system. If you could help me trying to understand, that would be really kind of you. - 1) I would like to know how stalking works in detail. What is my wallet doing when staking is active? It’s not about computer performance, because this is proof of stake and not proof of work, where you need high end computers for mining. But what are you doing instead? And is staking important for the network?
- 2) I would like to understand the reward system for staking. I already know that you differ between masternodes (>10000 dmd wallet) and all others. Masternodes get more reward than others. Ratio ist 0,65/0,35. But what is the reason or the idea behind that?
- 3) This leads me to the next question: what does 0,35 respectively 0,65 mean? Of what? Of a new block?
- 4) if you don’t need much computer performance to find new blocks, why does it take so much time to find new blocks? What is the technic of decelerate?
- 5) last question is about payout of the reward system. When does this happen? Daily? Weekly? Monthly? Quarterly? How can you see the payout? Is it like a transaction you are receiving? Or does your amount just rise? How many dmd coins do you get for staking? Can you calculate the expected reward? An example would be helpful. I have 43 dmd coins for instance. What can I expect? What can I expect if I have 200 dmd?
As you can see there is much to learn for me! Thanks guys! Concerning general DMD workings, you'll find answer to your questions in the whitepaper. For more in-depth DMD v3 explanations, read a few pages back on this thread. Quick question:
Isn't the stake engine supposed to collect the small blocks on the same address when a block in that address stakes?
Someone mentioned that only the blocks older than 5 days are collected...
But still, one of my big blocks staked today in an address where I have a lot of small MN rewards and none of them was collected.
I was hoping to have them all compiled into a big block, similar to what happened in DMD v2
Anyone care to explain this?

I had to restart my wallet about 2 hours ago. Restarted masternode and wallet unlocked.
MN shows in list of all but, active time shows at 0 even thoughit has been 2 hours. How can I tell if it is really working if active time is not increasing.
Make sure it's listed here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/masternodes.dws

At this level of difficulty, I don't think 200 coin blocks will succeed in staking a lot. Mine are having a hard time...

So, Ethereum Mining is dying.
What coins is everyone going to with their GPU Mining Rigs?
Obviously the more profitable one, but that depends on several factors; GPU, power costs, etc. For me, now is XMR

There is one thing confusing me... I've been reading the guides to set up the TOR MNs and I still don't understand where the generated coins will be sent to. Do we have to configure some kind of scrape address? What am I missing

The community is anxious...

|

Is the previously released guide to setting up a TOR MN the final one? I remember there was an intention to update it somehow. Any news on that front? EDIT: Just found a new guide on Slack
