821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 09, 2023, 04:47:31 AM

Paul is making boxing a joke, no one ever heard of Andre August til he announced this fight. For all we know he just paid this guy in advance $50.000 to sleep whenever he do his signature move.
While I agree that both the Paul's are giving boxing a bad name, someone must be enjoying watching cause they do ok in the PPV market. It's really no different than McGregor and Mayweather, people found a way to get paid with some popular figures going at it. The only way it stops is if people stop paying for it, but thats not going to happen.

The bounty is now over, I will get everything graded over the next day or 2 and get the final sheet to the team. They will be responsible for distribution. Thanks to everyone who participated and i'll see you all next time.
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Aviator platform on: November 09, 2023, 12:06:40 AM
I thought "aviator game" was a new type of gambling game, but it turns out it is just another crash game.

anyway, just curious, do you own the review website? if you do, it would be better to post an ANN thread about your website instead of just creating a thread and pointing us to just one gambling site.
I would guess that this person does not own the site if they are asking for other recommendations.

@OP if you are looking for decent crash types games bustabit and moneypot are 2 of the better sites for crash.
824  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seabet.io Online Casino on: November 07, 2023, 08:30:34 AM
Welcome to bitcointalk!!! I would advise you to look into a COPPER MEMBERSHIPso that you can announce your casino properly and see images. Just click the link and purchase it directly from the forum admins.

Also, if you decide to market the casino, shoot me a pm and i'll be glad to help you.

827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 06, 2023, 05:12:01 AM
Whenever I am low on cash on the casino I play which includes a sport book I like to copy other people bets, usually parlays with odds over 1000 and I think to myself who cares if I play for example 50 bets copying other people with 200 IDR as my base bet,if any of these guys hits it big I will do to.Notice that I put 1000 as a minimum here but the reality is that I have been copying bets with over 700.000 as odds,I damn love these huge multipliers yet no one has got such one in sport betting.

Of course in here it is not about skill or luck games anymore but it is about destiny,so tell me how many of you are deceived by dreams that may change your destiny like I am  Grin?
If you aren't risking a large amount of money following these people hoping to get lucky and also not hurting yourself or your family financially, then a little fun isn't a bad thing. Obviously you already can see the odds are low that you will win, but if you hit once over 100 tries, you'll come out way ahead.

I don't do this personally, but i have played on Moneypot and followed a bettor. When they cash out the script cashes you out as well. Neat built in script they have if you like playing crash.

The journey of bitcointalk is a journey of gradual process, when you look around you will see that may has registered in the bitcointalk and their are unable to achieve any milestone in bitcointalk because of challenges, I thank almighty for me to reach members rank after all challenges I faced both sickness and losing my phone, the one of losing my phone is the one that  would have discouraged me mostly from bitcointalk, but I insisted and continued using my sisters phone to login my account in forum

Today I'm a member and I'm excited to see myself to this rank, I will stand to celebrate another milestone in the forum which I know very well,  so when I looked at my ranked up I get more courage, I want to everyone to not lose hope in what they are doing, because their is some things that will stand as obstacles when you want to know what you don't

I stand in this precious time to congratulate myself for achieving my first milestone despite that theirs many milestones to achieve but at least I have counted 1 and others shall be achieve later
Sometimes facing challenges depends on the actions you are taking while on the forum. As I see this is a ranked up post I would say that the challenges you speak of might be gaining merit. While I feel that users are sometimes overlooked when it comes to merit, I think for the most part those that put in actual effort are noticed. If you post mostly bounties, or i agree with blah blah posts, or other low quality activities you will not get many merits. A little bit of effort and a lot of reading will go a long way on this forum.

Anyways, congrats on the member rank. Maybe the challenges won't be as bad on the full member journey.
I commend you for your advice, you know forum is not something we learn once you can learn forum with three years space and yet you haven't understand anything in the forum, sometimes it depends on your engagement in the forum that will boost your understanding.

For the challenging aspect, I may reach full member and I still have a challenge,, the challenge I'm talking is not about forum ranking is about phone I do use to login my forum account,  I use phone not my  a laptop, right now I'm using different phones to  login when I have  the opportunity to borrow from people I know.
Thanks sir I have seen that you are a reputable and respected person in the forum, I think people of my level need your advice to move on in the forum
I use my mobile a few times a day to login, but it is mine. If you have to borrow someone elses phone to login from time to time, that would be a major issue. Look around and start doing campaigns that accept your rank. Whether that be signature campaign, review campaign, art contests, or whatever you can find. Earn enough btc to buy a cheap phone so that you don't have to borrow anymore. After that, just gotta make enough weekly to pay for internet and whatever other needs you may have.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 06, 2023, 03:26:46 AM
I'm just curious and would like to get the consensus of the community, should casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure, we can't deny that the gambling addiction percentage is very high in this generation,

I just stumbled one site about gambling addiction it's a free help for those addicted to gambling, there are many more related sites and facilities.
Do you think it is the obligation of casinos online or offline?

It is casinos' way to repay those who put in a lot of money and get addicted or they shouldn't care because it's the gamblers' initiative to play.
As a casino, you want to give the impression to people that you care and that they matter. In the end we all know that the casino really only cares about making money. Every promotion they do is geared around getting people in the door. You can't blame them, it's a business and businesses have ti make money.

As far as sponsoring addiction sites, should they be required to? No, but a lot might be interested so that they look good in the eyes of the public.

831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 07:14:15 PM
I'd like to ask the community I have a newly moved neighbor he is a widowed senior citizen and he lives alone with a house helper, all his children are now professionals and he is a pensioner, we talked a lot about many things  I just noticed that he is very active on online casinos and other gambling activities like lotto and cock fighting every weekend, his children do not know his activities and I'm afraid he is getting addicted.

Should I give him advice on how to manage his gambling activities or I just let him since he is just enjoying his senior years and doing things that he missed doing when he was still young? and what's the right approach, we all know senior citizens are sensitive to criticism.

Unless you see him playing with large amounts of money that you know he cannot afford, just let him be. Monitor whenever you can to see if he's being responsible. Just because someone is gambling, doesn't mean they are addicted or going too far.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Out of curiosity, how much you wagered recently? on: November 05, 2023, 08:05:34 AM
This dude is a sponsored streamer and his wagers do not count towards most promotions I do believe. I'm not 100% sure on that, but it would be a clear disadvantage to others in a wagering contest to be fighting against house money.

Regardless, you would still have to have a decent bankroll to compete in the contests or have 1 hell of a wager strategy if you wanted to win a wager contest. I personally do not even wager $5000 a week. Normally closer to $1000.

834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 05, 2023, 02:44:50 AM
How many of you have dreamed about having your casino? Be the house and play the always-win game.

In the past years it was different, people who could build a provably fair engine were able to have their own casino, but now we are playing with new rules, the casinos must have a license and games providers, and that's what people are looking for, and i don't say is something bad, the gambling experience on stake compared with the gambling experience on satoshi bones is enormous.

But getting back into the topic, i would like to read some nice histories from the community, those who only dream about their own casino, and those who make their dreams come true.
I was fortunate enough to find a dev and have my own casino back when moneypot was running.

We no longer have an option like that where everyone was using a community bankroll from investors so to speak. Now you have to put a decent chunk of money into having your own site in order to have the ability to attract medium/large gamblers.

You can make a site and start with a micro bankroll but who wants to play where a max won is 100$ or something like that?
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 04, 2023, 08:30:16 PM
You sure you played bonus buys on Pragmatic games in demo mode? I have tested many slots on demo mode and Pragmatic games don't have a bonus buy feature on the sites I have played on. They give you 100000 balance and you have to spin in.

Other providers such as Hacksaw and relax or no limit city have the bonus buy option.
Positive, I have tried every Pragmatic slot with the bonus buy feature and that’s why I mentioned this specifically :
Quote
I decided to try the demo mode on the original pragmatic website multiple times

I believe you were trying to play the demo mode straight from casinos like; Stake which their demo mode doesn’t offer the bonus buy feature, probably due to not updating their demo modes to latest version maybe.

Here’s a link [1] straight to Sweet Bonanza from Pragmatic website try and let me know. I really want to confirm from slot players if the winning chance is much higher than live mode, unless if the settings are different it would be something is off.

[1] : https://www.pragmaticplay.com/en/games/sweet-bonanza-slot/#
You are correct, I never thought of playing directly from the provider. I will say though that the point of a demo is for you to try the game. They are going to want a person to experience all the features a game has to offer. Highs and lows. The goal is to make you want to spend real money.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 04, 2023, 08:04:00 PM
I'm a big fan of slots and I have two or three favorite slots that I play usually. When it comes to RTP and risky slots I prefer Pragmatic as the provider. One interesting thing I have noticed is the difference in winning chances between playing in demo mode and live mode at casinos.

For example last week, I played several bonus buys on the popular Sweet Bonanza slot which is known among gamblers. I played on Coins.game but unfortunately, I lost my entire balance only getting returns of 10x to 120x at the most. To put it simply since maybe it'sduffrent than other slots, when buying a bonus with a minimum of $20, it effectively counts as a $0.2 entry and getting a 100x return means you win back $20 which is just 1x of your initial buy.

So because of this, I decided to try the demo mode on the original pragmatic website multiple times, (running over 100 sessions) and in all of them I have got at least one 200x returns every 10 bonus buys. Which is so different than live mode.

My question is, why does the demo mode seem to pay more than the real mode, and has anyone else noticed this difference?
You sure you played bonus buys on Pragmatic games in demo mode? I have tested many slots on demo mode and Pragmatic games don't have a bonus buy feature on the sites I have played on. They give you 100000 balance and you have to spin in.

837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 04, 2023, 07:19:50 PM
It's called gambling man. You are not going to win every bet nor are you going to lose everytime. You can verify your results on most sites and see the bet was fair. If it was easy then everyone would be rich and the casinos would be out of business. That's just the simple truth of it all. Casino's(at least most of them) don't need to cheat players. They know in the longrun that players are going to lose. You cannot go around calling sites a scam because you lost.

Closing the twitter form soon and posting the last round of messages. Look for a new sheet within a few hours.
Any exact date for closing round 3 twitter form?
Round 3 will close on 11/8. Very short rounds. I didn't put dates in the OP so I have opened the forms when people have asked but when I close round 3 that will be it, there will be no opening the form.

Let me start with welcoming you to the forum, but I would ask that you please pay attention the the RULES. You do not need to start a new thread everytime you make a post. Each gambling site is allowed 1 THREAD PER SITE. Failure to comply with forum rules can result in a ban for you. Please read both threads.

On the 2nd November ten years ago I registered on bitcointalk. I was fascinated about the idea of decentralization and that everyone could be a part of the network. At that time I was just 16 years old and liked bitcointalk on the one hand because there was an incredible amount of meme shitposts and giveaways (bitcoin giveaways and not shitcoin drops like today), but on the other hand I was fascinated that random strangers on the internet would basically answer every question that could potentially arise about bitcoin.
Over the years bitcointalk has change a bit and has grown into a more professional platform, even if at the same time it has lost some very great minds (and found some). My wish for the next ten years would be that we can keep this platform as it is and at the same time are able to preserve all this knowledge that was stored here for the last years (since for now it mostly depends on active, well educated users answering questions).
My wish for bitcoin however is that we can have as much adoption as possible since even if not everyone thinks the same, for me this is the most important step for the long term success of a decentralized payment system.

Congrats on the 10th Bday!!!

@Congratulations @hZti
Congratulations you have safely passed ten years you are a very old user. Your success is most likely because you are one of the experienced users. There are very few old experienced users like you. And may your future days be more beautiful. You shared your experience with us and we also learned a lot from you.
