821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BE AWARE , A SCAMMER IS IMPERSONATING ME AND SCAMMING A LOT OF GUYS HERE. on: September 12, 2014, 11:12:56 PM
SCAMMER Huh

anonymous22 YOU SOLD ME YOUR ACCOUNT FOR .2 THAN YOU DID RECOVER THE ACCOUNT YOU ARE THE SCAMMER AND I NOT STOP TILL YOU GIVE IT BACK

Tough shit. That's the risk you take from buying accounts.
822  Economy / Lending / Re: Want to borrow 0.023 BTC on: September 12, 2014, 03:33:06 PM
I wasn't actually planning on scamming at all, I am 100% against it because it has happened to me before, it just annoys me that when I forgot to list a collateral he called me out and just gave a negative review straight away.

I suspect that few people actually plan on scamming, but when faced with a choice of having to repay a debt, or simply abandoning their forum account, most people would do the logical thing and choose the latter.

requesting .75btc loan to replace dead waterpump and headgasket .95 repaid in 45 days 1p1QhSXUWaN9YeJwzWdW3KuURBL7741Kr

Just use some of that PayPal money you were wanting to buy 5 BTC with (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=776779.0) and order some parts. Problem solved, plus you save on fees converting from BTC to fiat, not to mention withdraw fees. You're welcome Smiley

After 3 days I will get around 50 fibre coin (1fibrecoin=0.0002btc on cex.io) I will exchange it and I will pay you ,so if I will loose also than also no problem for you.thanks.

This makes no sense. Why would you even bother paying anything back when you can just abandon that account and create a new one at no cost?
828  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.002 btc loan on: September 10, 2014, 05:03:19 PM
Common sense says that if you have to borrow 96 cents, you're not in a position to pay anything back.
829  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked Help Plz! on: September 10, 2014, 04:11:39 PM

Of course not. I speculate that Quickseller may be running a hacked account laundering campaign, and the current controller of Zedicus is either an innocent victim or the hacker (or connected with the hacker).

Bingo. Now he's trying to play it off like the OP is running a scam. Hey Quickseller, why don't you log into your previous account anymore? Is it because it has negative trust?
830  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Concerned tried to scam me on: September 10, 2014, 04:05:37 PM
Danny or escrow.ms noone else

You say that now, but who knows what you're telling people via Email or PM. You have multiple scam allegations out against you right now, plus the fact that there's a well known scammer with the same name from Hackfroums leads me to believe you're not exactly entirely legit.
831  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC to MY Paypal (Verified) on: September 09, 2014, 09:45:14 PM
Stop bitching about how hard it is to exchange. All you have to do is send cash equivalent. You don't need any prior trust to do this. But of course I know you won't be doing this despite how easy it is, since you're just out for a quick scam.

If you want the privileged to use paypal or other reversible payments, then earn it. Go contribute to the forum outside of the marketplace, or have normal transactions first (goods/services).

Pretty much this. OP could have had Bitcoin in his wallet a long time ago if he just went down to any store that sells MoneyPak, Western Union, or similar. Instead he's sitting here trying to prove he has money that he could use to buy MoneyPak, Western Union, or similar.

And that is why you will NEVER be considered to be a mod. You are too trigger happy with your trust ratings (I agree with what Quickseller pointed out).

The funny thing is, you actually do care. Otherwise, you wouldn't waste your life trying to be a mod with your default trust. You put so much time into your online personality but you get no recognition. You are just another bitcointalk user who doesn't have anything else better to do with his/ her time. I hope you don't kick your cat, otherwise how else would you get your power trips? I referenced a cat because it is clear you don't have a family.

Sad.

The only thing I cared about is my real account. This account was created specifically to talk smack and get in flame wars Grin But now you're just steering this thread off topic intentionally. Wonder why that could be...

Ah, ok I see what was going on. Sorry about that, Kingscrown. The OP has come up on several scam indicators and I was following his paper trail of posts and this thread came up. I didn't realize he was just serving as translation service.
835  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked Help Plz! on: September 09, 2014, 05:34:46 AM
You must not be very smart since it is throughout the entire thread. I wish I had the time to be a try-hard mod to get some self-worth in my life. If you want to be the towns sheriff, at least know the rules of the land (which you clearly do not understand). Or simply grow up.

Like BadBear said, I'm trying to be open about the process but if people act like crazed animals, you are only going to push this practice down further. Especially when it is within forum rules to do so. If people more spoke about it without fear, it would be a more open topic.

I have already reached out to both parties. Quickseller gave me a lot of information about the deal which makes it look like OP sold the account with the intention to try and reclaim it later. Which is fraud. I have also reached out to the OP and offered him to buy the account back for the price I paid. I just got some queer manic response, therefore he must not want his account too badly.

I'm still happy to negotiate. I think OP and Quicksellers should work together to compensate me for the BTC I paid. Otherwise I will be out of pocket for doing something that is within the forum rules.

I'll keep everyone posted and hopefully we can come to an agreement.

Fair enough, and you're right - I'm not very smart. However, I still do not trust any purchased accounts, period; hence your negative trust. That being said, I'll remove my negative rating until the issue is sufficiently sorted out.

@Quickseller: Did the person who you negotiated a sale price with provide any sort of proof he was the actual owner? Ie. signed an address that was previously attached to the zedicus account?
836  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked Help Plz! on: September 09, 2014, 05:21:18 AM
I don't know why people leave feedback for accounts just because they are bought /sold. It doesn't really accomplish anything in the big picture, and only serves to drive the activity underground, which leads to a lot of people getting screwed over. If people didn't leave negative feedback, people would probably be a lot more open about what accounts are being sold/bought, which would be much more beneficial over the long term than the short term benefits of a few accounts getting bad feedback.

Personal experience. Every single purchased account I've ever encountered was done so for reasons that were not exactly above-board, to say the least. I'm sure there are a few cases where people use them legitimately for sig campaigns, but as a rule of thumb I do not trust purchased accounts.

838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Entz scammed me out of 355 dollars paypal gift on: September 08, 2014, 09:07:56 PM
You should actually be warning me to do business with anyone because of my gullibility and carelessness. I don't understand why you would get the feeling that's I'm a scammer but appreciate how you look out for people on here.

I may very well be wrong about you, but Entz's last account (hongkongpfui) had a similar schtick where he accused one of his own alts of scamming. Ostensibly to take the heat off his hongkongpfui account and play up the victim role so that he could gain sympathy or something.
839  Other / Meta / Re: Account Hacked Help Plz! on: September 08, 2014, 08:47:43 PM
There is compelling evidence to show that the OP sold this account and is now fraudently trying to restore it after receiving the payment. The negotiations took three days, the OP's account was created on the last day of negotiations after the deal was made.

The length people go to scam on this forum is incredible.

Thanks for letting us know that's a purchased account.
840  Other / Meta / Re: Normalize Trust display across subforums on: September 08, 2014, 08:45:05 PM
I actually disagree. Trust score should only be displayed when relevant, such as any subforum that involves transaction (marketplace) and beginner area where newbs take advantage of newbs. However any subforum that is mainly discussion should not display trust score because that will make people biased, even if it's subconscious. Posts from people in red will carry less weight than the ones in green, which is a bit unfair for these guys, when someone's trust should not be relevant when it comes to a general discussion.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not in support of scammers, but some people are red because only because they had an argument with someone else, not because they actually screwed someone over.

This is a good point. There are certain sub-boards where Trust is not really needed, and others where it is needed but not currently displayed. At the very least though, I think the Trust display/no-display settings need to be recalibrated.
