Ok, so I need some help. I am using SMOS with 2 rigs, 6 cards each all Red Devil 8 Gig RX580's and have been mining eth without issues using SMOS claymore-eth-v.11. I have been trying to setup dual mining and I don't seem to have it setup right. Below is my config so if anyone can tell me what I am missing I would appreciate it. Oh, I am trying to mine eth and expanse. My wallet address is filled in with both my real wallets.
If I use either one, just eth mines fine and just expanse mines fine but together it doesn't seem to work.
-wd 1 -r 1 -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal MYWALLETADDRESS/Rig2 -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport 127.0.0.1:3333 -asm 1 -epool stratum+tcp://exp-us.dwarfpool.com:8018 -ewal MYWALLETADDRESS/Rig2 -epsw x -allpools 1
replace the -epool with -dpool command before the second coin to mine configuration, see below EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal MYWALLETADDRESS/Rig2 -esm 0 -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://exp-us.dwarfpool.com:8018 -ewal MYWALLETADDRESS/Rig2 -epsw x -allpools 1 -wd 1 -r 1

Hello guys I have a problem, i have a rig with 8 cards, in single eth works fine! when I tried to dual with the last version of the miner, it worked for few days, than I GPU (the #7) drop the hashrate to 0 and I got this error WATCHDOG: GPU error, you need to restart miner I tried to reduce the intensity but nothing! What should I do? The cards are RX570 nitro plus (*4) and RX570 mini(*4) both of them 4gb try to replace the risers, most probably that's the culprit.

Hi there. I've search all around, but seems like no one is really interested in mining keccak, while I am. I can't manage to make it work. When i try to mine SMART, the official pool gives a authentication error. When i try to mine other coins like CREA, i just get 100% rejected shares.
Does claymore have problems with that algo or i'm doing something wrong?
you can mine keccak thru dual mining, like ETH and Keccak,Some pools requires you to register and create worker to their site, you can now use the login name and worker for your Claymore miner .bat file configuration. basically these are major requirements if the pool does not support anonymous miner - Login account - worker name and pw - your wallet - stratum server pool and port post your .bat config to help you out more

I have been looking for a reason for this error. I have one of my Zotac 1070ti AMP editions that keeps getting this error "GPU4 rejected share: [23, "low difficulty share of 0.062499046325683594"]". I am running 5 - 1070ti at 200 core/1000 mem/105w and 1 - 1060 at 200 core/750 mem/105w. I am mining on Suprnova pools. I have moved the GPU to other positions, changed the riser and adjusted the OC up or down.
I am still a newbie at crypto mining so any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Thank you.
you are overclocking too much, try to lower your clock +150 core +650 memory or +200 core +700 memory check this threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2324651.540

Following is my configuration MOBO: BT250 Mining Expert GPU1: Zotac Nvidia 1070ti GPU2: Zotac Nvidia 1070ti PSU: Photo 1050 OS:Windows 10
GPUs connected to mobo with PCI Riser cards.
My issue is 2nd GPU is not recognized by Windows OS 10. When I tried to connect individually, both are being recognized. But when connected both together to mobo at once, only one GPU is being detected in the device manager.
I connected my monitor to the hdmi mobo.
Any help is much appreciated, I'm stuck here and no clue found in any of the forums
Do you have any errors appear on the device manager? try to replace your risers, I'm a bit hesitant on your PSU, is that a china one? if happen you have also an extra PSU then try to use them to isolate your problem.

Maybe get a job where you have your own office with airco. Twice the income.
You're FIRED! Lol, i remember one of the users seeking help on how to mine with office desktops unnoticed by the end users and so happens that he is the owner. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) call it maximizing resources.

i already buy motherboard, grphics card.. my motherboard is gigabyte and my graphics is radeon gddr5..my processor is AMD it is good specification?
Be more specific please, Gigabyte board has a lot of types, same is true to Radeon gddr5 graphics were some models are not for mining. Learn the mining from these gurus. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1761303.20they covered almost all, including rig designs and constraints. Happy Reading!

SETUP MSI B150M BAZOOKA PLUS LGA 1151 Intel B150 Plus 4GB DDR4 Intel Celeron G3920 Dual-Core 2.9 GHz Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 580 8GB Asus VCX Mining RX470 4GB
Most people say that basically the entire RX series is best at the dagger hashimoto algorithm but for some reason my RX 580 8GB doesnt do so well. 90% of the time equicash is the most profitable. and even those numbers arent really up to par from what ive read. Profitability calculator says I should be making $2+ per day with this card. Currently get about 290 sols/s equicash...Dagg/hash I only get about 16 MH/s..I do a little better in SMOS than I do in Windows but not much. The crimson drivers helped a little but I tried over and underclocking, either way, any adjustment slows it down. Maybe thats all Im gonna get? Idk, any help would be appreciated, I am still somewhat new to this.
You should mod the GPU bios to unleash the true mining power of RX cards, also it is significant to know what mem types are your cards are for proper timings. modding is not that hard, tutorials here. Always kudos to Mattthev for the guide https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0

Thanks Bro Phil, this is a good way to encourage also people not to hoard their merits ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) btw, If its not too burden can you take a glance on my posts ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Edit: I really like this infographic, simple 10 https://imgur.com/1NKR2hA

Or does each card have to eat up 2 of the modular plugs on the power supply side (and use 2 seperate cables)? Thank you for the help, I appreciate it!
A one PCIe cable with 8 and 6 pin connector will do, more important is to understand how much power each cable could handle which corresponds to your GPU. this is a good reference for PSU cables. http://www.gpuminingresources.com/p/psu-cables.html

Using Stock speed powercolor AX RX 480 8G card but getting 16Mh/s what do I need to look for? Running win 7 (can't use amd block chain driver) Claymore 11 amd video driver 18.2.2 1 card in system gpu speed 1266 MHz Memory 2000 MHz Temp on card 63C
What would most likely be the culprit as stock should be 26 ish?
its a DAG issue, you must use the latest driver with compute mode, however it is more likely worked on windows 10. as an alternative you may use the robinhood driver for windows 7. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2068446.0

And with GPU 6 turned off nicehash crashed again 45 minutes after I left... UGH!! $4500 bucks in this machine and I've spent more on fuel going to restart it than the damn thing has made me.
It was running fine with 4 GPU's that were split between two 750w Corsair PSU's. They would only accommodate 2x 8 pin VGA plugs each so I replaced them with two EVGA 1000w and added 3 more GPU's.
So it looks as if the problem lies somewhere going from 4 GPU's to adding additional. 4G is turned on in the motherboard bios. I've swapped risers, I don't think they are the problem.
have you tried my suggestion above? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) just use the single 1000w psu.

I am running Windows 10 Pro.
I am pretty sure it is the #6. When I saw the machine this morning it was the only one with the fan still spinning (all the others were stopped) and the machine was completely locked up. On the monitor windows had a a prompt that said some time of error. It may have been opencl or something along those lines but i have plenty of virtual memory enabled. When I googled the error it got results indicating from others who've seen it that their power supplies weren't large enough. But I have dual 1000w power supplies so there should be plenty.
What are the chances I got a faulty GPU?
I guess not, you can possibly check this by exchanging into the working GPU, btw, are the 3 GPU's connected to the other PSU? if yes, try not to use the second PSU and install the 5th GPU aligned with the present 4gpu's. 1000w should handle at least 6 GPU, by then let us know the result.

how possible and convenient is it for one to use a mining rig for more than one cryptocurrency using the ZCash and Ethereumm as a case study.
Very possible, Use a certain miner like Claymore and -di options to mine specific coins on a specific GPU. you need at least to 2xGPU, 1 mining for Zec and Eth on the other. Convenience will depend on your Technical skills and budget of course.

Get a HDMI dummy and install teamviewer.
Sometimes dummy isn't needed, all of my rigs don't use dummy plugs, I'm just using teamviewer to manage them remotely. just like this one Well you can unplug monitor from rig 1 and plug in to rig 2.

I'm going to be building a mining rig soon. I'm either going with 6 GPU"s or 3 Ti GPU's (all bases on budget). I'd like to stay around $3,500. I was looking at 1070's as they seem to be the all around go to gpu's but it seems to me that the price of them is so high I may be able to get 1080 TI's cheaper ( 3 of them instead of 6 1070's).
Is there any reason to go with the 1070's over the 1080TI that it's definitely worth spending the extra?
Profitability calculators will basically tell you, consider also their power consumptions. http://whattomine.com/I'd just rather buy for a fairly price GPU's, I just couldn't take a 1070 with price ranging 800$ compared to previous price at 500$.

Hello everyone
I am building a GPU rig with nitro amd rx 580 8G cards.
The connection of the card for the electricity source is an 8 + 6 pin plug. I have purchased an EVGA 1200W power supply where 4 VGA cables are terminated with 6 + 2 ( 8 ) pins and 2 VGA cables with 6 + 2 ( 8 ) pins plus 6 pins. By default the power supplies come with these VGA cables. So I can only connect 2 cards with the 2 VGA cables of 6 + 2 ( 8 ) pins plus 6 pins.
My question is: Can I connect the rest of the cards with the rest of VGA 6 + 2 ( 8 ) pins? or the cards will not work ?.
In the case of I need more VGA cables with 6 + 2 ( 8 ) pins plus 6 pins, where can I buy without needing to buy additional power supplies ?.
Thanks for your help
you just need to buy some splitters like this one https://www.amazon.com/PCI-Express-Video-Y-Splitter-Adapter-Supply/dp/B00A3OVG4W/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1518955166&sr=8-13&keywords=pcie+8pin+splitter ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
