GPU returned incorrect data!
how can I deal with it ? Reduce clocks, loosen timings, or reduce undervolt. Works on 21 470/480 cards for me, (and a 7950), all flawless. 8 are bios mod, but not extreme. Each new version is faster, and also puts more load on GPU, so it causes issues for some with more extreme tweaks. all xfx cards are moded for ETH with low voltage mod and none of them had this problem, one card in 120, how can it be ? |

You need modify card BIOS for best results (change memory timings on high clocks). Sources for the mod what to change and where? A good howto or guide? See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mwb67g4skGM - very easy instruction I used low voltage mod for all my cards (200+) they were hashing ETH on 29.8 I was kinda glad with it and using much less power Don't mod your bioses for the RX series like you did with ETH.
They not only will crash, they will FREEZE your system.
they are running for a week or so now and all is good with ETH modded low voltage roms, so far so good |

You need modify card BIOS for best results (change memory timings on high clocks). I did it for ETH on same cards, now I'm getting 61-66 sols with V3 miner, I'm kinda happy |

It pretty much doesn't matter which GPU you have, they are all the same speeds.
My RX470 is 45Sols and my $20 Radeon 7850 is 30 Sol/s

using defualt 0 or 1 works fine -i2 kills my cards and lags my system out even tho i2 runs for a good few hours still getting same speeds as -i 1 or setting at 0 default
52-55 on reference RX480 with moded bios, 90 minutes running stable so far, let's see what will happen overnight. |

v2.1 with -i 2 has given me a nice boost on R9s and 480xs
it gave me 52+ on reference RX480 great |

Ok here's the case. I was hired to maintain little bitcoin farm, configure, monitor and watch over them. The thing was easy, after the end of month they transfer % BTC to my wallet, everyone is happy.
Then I was offered to maintain ETH farm and things got little bit confused to me, I mean the payment system and calculation process. I have to monitor price every day and write them down and at the payment day add everything and get my % coins to my wallet. I was wondering how can I automate this process ? Is there any way to get my % without these routine stuff ? maybe some pools have the option to send some % on secondary wallet or something like that ?
Any help will do a great job to me.

Well if you are OK with taking you pay in ETH, you could simply point that percentage to a pool using your own wallet address. Say you were paid 5% to maintain a 10,000 MHash farm, you would point 500 MHash to your own address. Of course you would need to explain this to the owners and get their approval, but I would think it would make no difference to them as they need to pay you one way or another. for sure that would be much easier to me, but they won't allow it for reasons. I'm also OK with taking any coin as payment, but as I mentioned the daily stats in excel document will be better, I only need to figure out the daily amount of mined coins. |

Hey mettalmag If it is too much trouble for you, why not requesting payment in bitcoins?, i was always paid in bitcoin no matter what coins they mined. now i have my own farm, but if someone asks me to maintain his farm, i will charge in bitcoin price, i have no problem if someone pays me in litecoins (in the litecoin era they pay me in litecoins) or ethereum, but the exchange rate you take (ie your price) is in BTC. BTC today is stable enough to use it as a reference (instead of fiat), they wobble a little yes, but nothing significant to affect your income IMHO. BTW: unless I control the hot-wallet, i will request weekly payment, or at least every other week. In all of the cases i maintained farms, i always controlled the hot-wallet, so they pay me once a month, of course there has to be some level of trust for that  . but that's just me  i am waay to paranoid cheers indkt. for the bitcoin farm I'm doing the same. Farm itself has three investors, so there are three pool accounts and three soft wallets accounts, in this case I have access to all of them, I have no trust issues with BTC team. The case is with second farm, there also are three investors, but I have no access to anything they use, except the dwarfpool statistics and of course systems itself. Most annoying part is that we have to switch from coin to coin too often and it makes me confused. So the solution I came up with was very simple, but it little bit confuses me, what if I'll make an excel spreadsheet and write down every day stats, like hashrate, average coin price (whatever we will mine ETH, Zcash etc.) and my %. But still I can't figure out how. |

what about the power consumption? Has anyone checked it ?
Its less then ETH mining. Sure I noticed that, after switching from eth even fans are sometimes idle and it's much cooler in room. I mean genoil's miner was giving much less hashrate than this one, was wondering is there a difference between this two. I will able to check myself in a day or so and post here but if someone already checked I will sleep in peace |

106 w for rx 480 8gb 1350/2250 core with modded timings. Voltage is not modded. 52-55 sols I have moded rom which was for eth to run my rx480s on 29mhs, but no difference with zcash on custom and factory bios. rx480 44-49h/s |
