xfx RX480 8G 150s/ max, there's an ETH bios mod for low power. Gigabyte RX480 8G 152-155s/ no mod. Asus RX480 8G 150s/ no mod. xfx non reference RX480 8G 160-165s/ with ETH bios mod for low power. Sappire nitro RX480 8G 155s/ with low power mod. These are the hashrates I got after updating my rigs, considering that the farm is quite long way to drive I'm not risking to play with bios, but if there are any chances to increase these hashrates significantly with custom mods I'd be glad to have them.

v7.0:
- improved speed by about 15-25% (depends on card model). About 230H/s on stock 390X.
- added "-benchmark" option.
Is there any chance to upgrade miner versions using remote manager? Updating 2 or 3 miners is easy, but in case of big farm it takes lots of time. I'm not complaining or something you have super speed and great miners, but this option would make it even better! Thanks! You could use the "Execute reboot.bat" option in the miner manager to do it with something like this: taskkill /f /im ZecMiner64.exe robocopy \\server\share\claymore C:\claymore /XF config.txt shutdown.exe /r /t 00 I haven't tested this but it should get you close. I'm assuming reboot.bat goes on each mining rig. Make sure each rig is logged in as a user with access to the network share. /XF config.txt skips the config file so you don't lose your worker names. It makes sense, but in that case I will have to update config files anyway. I'm thinking about active directory there are 78 host PCs already.. |

has anyone tested this PCI-e Express 1X to 3 Port multiplier ?
I have 3x GPU mining rigs and managing them is a pain in the ass, if I could cut in half the amount of PCs that would be great.
Also I have 6x GPU rigs on windows 10, what is the max GPU supported in windows 10 ?

Can I run remote manager on any linux distro ?
I'm thinking to get VPS, Linux ones are way chepaer and I want to run monitoring in cloud. While mailing and sms notifications are done, I will not have to use home server any more for that. So I'm looking for ways to run remote manager on any linux distro

How are you keeping your temps that low, my 390x sits at 93c  93 is too high I'm using -tstop on 80 try cleaning them from dust maybe it'll help also considering that V5 was way cooler than v4 and v6 is same as v5, I can't imagine what temps will you get on mining ETH here are mines  still cold until now  so jealous of your temps, i only have one 390x the rest are 270x and 280x. will probably remove the blackplate to see if it helps I have a quite big air vent and windows slightly open and what I observed is which miners are close to window have higher temps then others. I think it's all about dust, I'm going to clean them maybe this weekend so I'll post what will happen next.. |

When will be available new version with better hashrate?
I have up 2 times better hashrate with Windows zcash Claymore SW than in ethos.
For example (the same hardware) zcash:
R9 270X - ethos 27H/s, Claymore 44H/s
R9 Fury - ethos 50H/s, Claymore 110H/s
similar with 370/280x/290/390/X/
Please do something with that A.S.A.P.
I powered off almost all ethos rigs and change it to Win with Claymore.
Let say OK. if difference is 10% +/-, but 2 times is too much.
and again... 270X - ethOS 1.1.5 -42H/s, Claymore V6 - 69H/s modded RX470 - ethOS 1.1.5 -89H/s, Claymore V6 -145H/s ethos team, wake up! The only reason I'm not buying it now, I have 63 rigs btw |

Thanks guys  to summarise, right now I'm mining Zcash with each RX480 pulling around 110H/s (miner hashrates on the PC itself spikes between 105-130ish) average showing on the mining pool, this is of a period over 24-48 hours, so it's stable and accurate. It's generating me just over 10% per month ROI at these figures. Here in Australia I am paying about 17 cents US per KW at current exchange rate (I use US cents as all coins mined earnings are in USD basically). so this is around 10% ROI after electricity costs which is pretty sweet. I am also a forex trader and at 5% a month which I am getting give or take per month, I can retire in 4-5 years, so these farms are another means of passive income when the markets are bad trading wise such as last week with the election. mettalmag specifically - I've ordered 3 of these to test - http://www.ebay.com/itm/0ship-HDMI-EDID-DDC-Plug-Headless-Linux-Windows-Mac1920x1200-emulator-dummy-USA-/191567271934?hash=item2c9a4c97fe:g:bcgAAOSw~OdVb-7mfrom what I can see they act as a dummy monitor plugged into the HDMI slot, meaning your PC will boot up fine on a power outage/power cycle, the biggest issue with the RX480's, can't tell other cards cause I only have these, but generally without a monitor plugged in, they will not boot past bios, almost like a safety thing. I even tried just plugging a HDMI cable in not connected to a monitor, but it didn't work. I am working on this because my Phase 2 and 3 (30-40 rigs each) will be remote to me, about 30 minutes drive away so I don't want to be driving out everytime there is a small issue haha. I have my rigs set to power on/boot into windows 10, startup batch files to run my miner files and in the config files I have my voltages set for memory and core, this way even if they restart/shutdown and sometimes reset to "factory" settings, my bios mod is factory, they come back at 1000 mv's per card, but the first miner startup they are then set to correct mv settings again I'll go into this more in future videos but something to think about. So I guess I'm planning to order both for testing dummies and ethOS as well. My farm is also about 30-40 minutes drive away if there is no traffic and blackouts are real pain in the ass. I was also thinking about getting PDU's. I have to test every detail and it needs huge amount of time. So far win7/10 are working great if there is no power outage, but you never know what will happen. I want them to be on and mining with minimal physical contact. |

not worth it at all ... just paid for one last night , installed to my ssd just for try , fired up one of my rig ... each of my rx480 card hashing with 24-26MH/s ... the same cards hashing over 30MH/s under windows 10 , tried with single card setup , 6 cards setup , 7 cards setup ... 8 cards setup ( ethos recognized 8th card but 8th card never worked) , tried different miners as a default (ethminer, sgminer-gm, claymore ) all give me a 4-6MH/s less hashing speed than windows 10 /claymore's. with 7 card installed the mining process got unnresponsive , saying is "Miner commanded to start." No mining happening ... still going to give myself a few days to play with ethos , if nothing get better , i must to do a paypal charge back Just a suggestion for all of you who purchasing ETHos ... use paypal , this way you have a chance to get back your money , if the system not working as is should there should be trial period I think, to try it out without lending" money |
