What are you guys going to do to keep this from happening again?

I`m behind this question too.

Maybe you should post here something to encourage miners to get back on PXC or the remaining 50 megahash will vanish.  Embarrassed Im saying this meanwhile mining with 5 mega / sec.

I think the 702n is missing the USB connector, which would make it useless for this application. It also has too small a flash size to run the openwrt firmware.

Still a decent little knock-around router for general purposes though.

Ahh yes, it has only a micro usb. Thanks for your answer.

http://squonk42.github.io/TL-WR703N/  <--- if you need Reverse-Engineering work on the TL-WR703N 150M 802.11n Wi-Fi Router. Imagine that mashup? K16 meets TL-WR703N?

Whats the difference between 702N and 703N? Can 702N flashed with OpenWRT and used for K16 mining? I have a dealer who sells 702N very cheap. Or should I order 703N?

Thanks. Smiley

If you didnt believe in this, just dumped your pxc  Roll Eyes
Otherwise,hold it for months Grin

I have all the coins appeared in the last few months. I dont dump, Im in crypto for long term. Just curious about these new coins, which will survive, which developers have the guts to jump in the business and take care of their coins.

Here is the design mock up for the VP.

I'll post video later...

but that all for now.. Smiley have a ton of work to get done before tomorrow..

M.

So where is the announcement? I want to play poker and spend my PXC.  Grin Or did you created a nice photo to have the chance to dump your pre-mined coins?  Roll Eyes

Yeah saw that. ^^ Staying on PXC for a while.

Why isnt the pool confirming shares?

For European Union.

I asked several assembly companies. Finally I got one cheap and realible offer for manual assembly: ~ 110 USD, 10 days. This is for very small amount of boards, asked them to assembly 2 PCBs. When we order 100+ the price can go lower.

The companies I asked can only assembly the boards manually, because of the really small packaging of the components (0402 capacitors and thermistors).

1x K16 miner price would be:

16x Avalon chips: ~ 151 USD (based on 16 x 0.086 BTC x 110 USD)
1x K16 board: ~ 9 USD (based on current https://github.com/bkkcoins/klondike/blob/master/docs/K16%20Parts%20List.pdf)
K16 parts: ~ 33.74 USD
Manual assembly: 110 USD

Summary: ~ 303.74 USD
4.5 GH / sec hashing power for this price.

Please note: this is for ONE board assembly with 16x chips without delivery costs for EU.

So I'm interested in buying some chips, but I have some pretty easy questions that need answered if you guys could help!

So I buy these chips for 0.086 BTC each.  I should buy them in 16's if I'd like to get a full board full.  Than the buy the K16 board, K16 parts.  The Manual assembly, why is there a price?  It's me putting it together.  right?

You're right, 1x chip for KNano, 16x chips for K16, 64x for K64. If you have the knowledge, tools and nerve to assembly yourself, you can do it. But remember, ONE false soldering and you can wreck your board completely.

I'm not risking my chips and boards to assembly myself, however I could do it.
830  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: May 15, 2013, 03:32:52 PM
So that's about 25% more, without shipping and import levies.

"Please note: this is for ONE board assembly with 16x chips without delivery costs for EU." Its only a prototype price.

Yes ONE, but I don't suppose you'll get "singles" orders. What would be the price for 25+ ?

Just have asked the team. Waiting for reply. Smiley

Very Expensive -- what is the Warranty Period?

Whats expensive? Assemblying one board? Bet noone does 1 board cheaper.  Wink

΄thank you. One thing, can you have a small border around the board 5mm? with such a border it is much easier for assembly lines or something like a pulling border?
There is almost that now but there are a few parts within 5mm of the edge. Not sure about that as I didn't really design it for automated assembly lines (something which I know nothing about). I suppose you could use a slightly bigger board size.

As I asked several companies for manual / automatic assembly (EU), most of them said they would do only manual assembly because of the very small (0402) components. However there are larger companies can do automatic assembly, but you have to order 1000+ boards and pay for the programming and assembly line setup about 1500 USD!

Imho below 100 boards manual assembly is the first option, however its more expensive.

Hi,

I have a company I have worked with for automated doing with small series from 1 to 200 normally.
normal price for a prototype board is 400€ for the pattern and then the price vary on how much and what components are used.
For example a Ztex Licence Production without the fpga chips (quantity orderd 25) 70€ per Board excl. VAT and when you want 1 > 250€ (I have done it last year)

Example calculate for 1 Prototype:
1. 400€
2. 250€
3. Avalon AsicChips (1-16)*7€
4. PCB Board: ~10€ (plus initial costs 50€)
5. Heatsink 10€
~ 850€ excl. VAT

mass production (from 25++) price for 1 Board inclusive asic chips:
1. 70€
2. Asics: (16) ~112€
3. cooler/heatsink 10€
3. PCB: 10€
~200€ excl. VAT

so 4.5gh/s should be possible with 2.5 BTC :-) or in € 45€ / gh/s

Please Note this is only a calculation the endprice will vary.

Posted in another thread, I think this should be here.

If I order 2 pcs of Lancelot, can you please tell me the estimated shipping time to EU?

Thanks.  Smiley

Difficulty and hashrate aren't connected. Diff could be 1 or 100000, my rigs hashrate don't change.

It seems problem is solved meanwhile, i'm hashing like before.

You are quote right. In a haste, I misread your previous post.

I think what is happening that they are averaging the last x minutes of hashing. If they show low hash rate for a long time, though, then it may be a reason to be concerned.

Yeah, it's calculated of the last x mins, as I see it's refreshing really fast.

Weird, my friend can't connect to the pool, neither to the site. Last hop of traceroute is blocked somehow.  Huh
