841  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Secure bitcoin wallet ? on: November 12, 2015, 03:37:42 PM
Bitcoin core is the most effective wallet if you considering security as well as ease of use.
Bitcoin Core does not qualify as a userfriendly wallet. It takes a long time for users to download and verify the entire blockchain if it's the first download or after several months. The bandwidth usage is also very high. SPV clients are slightly less secure as they trust the miners completely but takes seconds to setup.

Even bitcoin core takes lots of bandwidth and synchronization time for set up it's the only wallet indiscriminately developed by bitcoin foundation. But it's not recommended to all type of users only for advanced users can use all the features of it.
842  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 03:26:07 PM
Sometimes I think about it... and then I see it decreasing in value and then I'm like nope nope nope

Maybe someday I'll be able to this but for now it's just stable enough for me to quit my job
You can just concentrate on real time business, and honestly I trust there will never be a fruitful BTC-based business. I need BTC to be fruitful to make a living from bitcoin alone. Now a days everyboday making loss just because of decreasing bitcoin prices.

Yes making full time on bitcoin today is really not a good idea today if your purpose is to support your current life. As an alternative while you have your RL job, make sure to saved some coins so that when the price kicks you will not be dissapointed. Someday BTC will support our daily needs but today it's not 100%. Let them ripe. Time will tell.
However we should discover more choice of business with bitcoin earning. Then making a living from bitcoin would be possible. Even I have a business with bitcoin, I guess only a few customers would pay me with BTC, however that hasn't happened as such. So, we need some time before bitcoin go main stream as business payment.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: November 11, 2015, 07:12:29 AM
I have introduced the bitcoin faucets to many people just like PTC sites. They love the free bitcoins. I believe they are collecting all the bitcoin's and hopefully they have not spent anything from that collection.
I strongly believe they will enter into full bitcoin ecosystem slowly once they understand the advantages of bitcoin.

Yes the faucets are the point that everybody is getting accepted and getting attracted to. Faucets are doing very good work for attracting new users into bitcoin ecosystem. I will try your idea of getting the people via faucets.
844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: November 05, 2015, 03:10:21 PM
get bitcoin of trading is the best and safest way for me  Cheesy

But in my view, trading bitcoin is not a best way to make more bitcoins unless you are not a professional trader. Only with experience anybody can make some profit out of bitcoin trading other wise it would be more riskier way to loose all your bitcoins.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: November 05, 2015, 03:05:00 PM
Sometimes, it takes too long to complete a transaction. However that might be the case with several different currency transfers.

Yes it has happened when the stress test was done and in current price rally also we are forced to wait for conformation if we put medium optimal transactions fees. Soon, we can believe there would be solution for this.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 05, 2015, 03:02:25 PM
So many posts, so little specifics.
We already know that $ 1 per hour we can earn from Signature Campaign.

Maybe now we increase the bar and we ask the question of how to earn $ 2 per hour?

Double the effort you do to earn $1 per hour Cheesy

I already checked, but unfortunately you can not participate in two Signature Campaigns at the same time Sad You can only add an avatar, but it gives only about $ 6 per month ..  Roll Eyes

Yes. You may participate in signature campaign and avatar campaign at the same time.
Some campaigns give out bonus too for best poster and participating one full month. So, most preferable way to earn bitcoin is signature campaign for every one as of now.
847  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: November 05, 2015, 09:23:20 AM
My day just to have started. I still to earn some free Satoshi from my favorite faucets. After faucet Box, there are many chances to get free satoshi is every day.
848  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 03:24:15 PM
i believe that its price will rise a lot in the future

In long-term prediction i also believe.
But for now (this and the upcoming week) the price i think won't increase too much.
I believe that bitcoin price is unstable and for many years it will be lots of pumps and dumps.

I think anything can happen, so as you know we touched $350 so quickly.
yeah of course bitcoin will increase in the long term I strongly believe that Smiley

The recent price appreciation has many reasons behind to it. So, always there are lots of possibilities for bitcoin to hit higher and higher prices in the very near future for that one main reason would be the halving.
849  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many confirmations to be sure about a transaction? on: November 01, 2015, 03:11:33 PM
i think 6 confirmations is enough to get sure about transactions that is 1BTC+.
On other hand 3 confirmations is enough for lower amount of BTCs.

Yes these are the best way of getting your bitcoin transaction most securely. But 6confirmation or 3 confirmations are best suited only with latest bitcoin core client only. If you use old bitcoin-qt client then you must wait for some 30 confirmations.
850  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: November 01, 2015, 03:07:09 PM
I use cryptsy and poloniex....

I heard that cryptsy is having problems lately...

I too preferred to use cryptsy when I was active in alt coin collection. Recent news are not good with cryptsy if anyone share their experience and account access status then that would be more useful for us.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 30, 2015, 04:27:09 AM
Very profitable.

I have an idea of a skill based game that doesn't exist in the bitcoin world yet. However, learning to code it, would probably never happen. Then even if i did get it coded, i could never afford to bankroll it. eh Sad

There ia always a warm welcome to the new innovative things. Many of my friends who usualy spend more time and money on gaming sites, always get feel of boring out of same type of games. So, it would be a nice idea for creating new type of games for gambling that too based on skill set.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 30, 2015, 04:09:18 AM
No you can not win and beat house edge with strategy
It's all luck
Do you think its all luck? For me this is base for a system of the game. You have 10% chances to win 90% for lose. so i f your capital has a 10% profit or much better just control your self not be greedy.. some gamblers if he wins and have a lot of profit he/she still playing because he want to double the profit.

I'm not able to accept that there are only 10% to win. I believe that we have equal chance for both winning or loosing. It must be a 50-50 chances in almost all type of gambling. That's the reason people are still believing that gambling are profitable in long run.
853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: noob question how i can btc walet on: October 30, 2015, 04:03:24 AM
The first simple way to get a wallet must be an online wallet. It's same as simple as opening your gmail or yahoo mail account creation. Once you have opened, you must be ready with your bitcoin address and you are all set to receive you first bitcoin payment from any faucet.
854  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get free bitcoin? on: October 30, 2015, 04:01:12 AM
Hi, I am newbie here. I do not have enough $$$ to exchange bitcoins so how can I get free bitcoin?

There is no such a thing as a free bitcoin, the closest you might get a re the faucets, but they are somewhat useless now if you dont have a ton of refs or don't own one.

Yes I too agree that there is no free bitcoin. Faucets also a has some work namely solving captcha. But the small work will get you very small amount for the time you required for that faucet. That's the reason many people are not doing faucets once they get some bitcoins.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: October 30, 2015, 03:58:43 AM
get them is hard and slow and not cheap in most places.

sadly there is nothing that the devs can do about it

These are the some real hurdles we usually face every where especially along with new technology. But the light weight wallets or online wallets are greater solutions for this kind of initial pitfalls. So, I believe there would be solution for almost all the problem.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other cryptocoin. The best? on: October 30, 2015, 03:55:28 AM
I don't know what you think, but i think that other cryptocoins are just a "little-brake" for the BTC growth. If BTC is world-wide crypto coin, why so the need to make other one?

And, sure, the first wide-known cryptomoney will be BTC, coz is the most known. Have u a little idea about the time need other cryptocoin to be wide-known? BTC has been the first on market, and except some forks, will be the leader.

From here to 5 years, what is the scenario for u?

Like you said, bitcoin was first, and to me, it's the only original...
Some of the clones will live on (in my opinion), but only a very limited amount of them (for example, litecoin).

In 5 years, bitcoin will still exist, maybe 10% of the current altcoins, and 100's of new altcoins that will also be gone in a couple of years...

Hundreds altcoinswill gone next hundreds will come, altcoins are mostly hype market, done by same devs with diffrent nicks,,thayare just to stolen some btc.Therearesome legit, real and there is space ,niche for them, but mostly thay are scams, shitcoins
We can not simply ignore all the alt coins in way you are saying. In my view alt coins are testing for bitcoin with different features like quick block time and any kind of testing we want to conduct for bitcoin in real time. Alt coin are market movers, simply generating some transactions with bitcoin.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys... I'm having this feeling again on: October 30, 2015, 03:51:46 AM
I don't own much of them (which I plan to sell them as soon as the price takes off (about $10.000 Tongue). I store them in Blockchain since it has 2FA. I guess it is pretty secure.
I would like that local wallets could have 2FA as well.

No, it is not safe, i had blockchain wallet with 2fa enabled and still someone managed to breach the security and took all of my coins in a seconds Sad

If you want to keep using online wallet, go to somewhere more competent and capable of securing your coins Wink

Yes only the wallets within our control and no access to anybody would be the most secured wallet. We can not these two things get ensured along with online wallets. Even if prefer keeping funds in online wallet, store the private-key in your local.
858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 30, 2015, 03:48:52 AM

Im planning to sell my btc once it reach $500 Roll Eyes

Why? $500 is a sign of good health but still way below the ground floor in terms of future potential. Unless you have a relative who needs an operation there's really no compelling reason to get out of BTC. No one was sad from making a profit but if you left every single coin far behind that may well haunt you in the years to come.

With today's price of $323, we can confirm that $500 levels are within reach. Those who are holding bitcoin for price raise have proved they are right themselves. I do not have that much coins with me. So not able to enjoy the party right away.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: 320$ , what the hell is going on ? on: October 30, 2015, 03:39:03 AM
It is called the Reckoning. What we have been waiting all this time for Wink When all the holder's dreams come to fruition.
Let us who hold the coins bask it all it's glory. For a short time anyways.. until the dump happens  Roll Eyes

Ah, yes - the dump. The only thing guaranteed in crypto

There is a cointelegraph article that suggests Bitcoin is either headed to the moon or due for a big blowoff top where everyone dumps it back down to the pits of hell. I'm in two minds myself as to what will happen. The last weeks growth has been too fast for my liking, but so was the 2013 pump and that went far higher than I expected.

http://cointelegraph.com/news/115499/bitcoin-price-tops-300-to-the-moon-or-blowoff-top-forming

But heading towards moon with the reason of halving or tax free in some countries would be a steady moving. But we witness a roller coaster types of rally now going on. I fear to buy or hold now. Last August same thing happened with Litecoin.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Government Starting to Buy Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2015, 04:08:32 PM
I hope the rumour is real but I highly doubt it.

There are 50-50 chances that Chinese government may do anything like this. They do get support from government for faking Nike kind of branded products.
Same way China may want to be a leader in crypto-currency, so, they want to hold as much as they can. Then dumping also possible or mining will be more profitable.
