This whole thread is a joke.
A scammer meets only scammers trying scams...

My lesson is: Dont expect a team of "experts" to trade better than yourself.
And distrust any ICO or IEO, especially if it does not provide an own blockchain.
If I want to invest in a company in future, then only traditionally, with shares and rights.
844  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy BTC in larger amounts on: May 21, 2019, 06:44:44 AM
Or use escrow by a trusted member here on bitcointalk.
Offering a Trade without escrow or asking for early release is suspicous.
845  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for workers. If want make from 2000$ write to me on: May 20, 2019, 03:51:55 PM
This is not a job. Its a joke(positive thought) or a scam(realistic thought)
846  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy BTC in larger amounts on: May 20, 2019, 12:31:55 PM
Never ever send coins or release escrow before money arrives. Its so simple to fake a receipt...only scammers insist on early release...
847  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: May 19, 2019, 03:37:11 PM
It is already in liquidation.
Cryptopia has no more its hands on the thing.
Yes the liquidator has the rights...
Quote
Now all their customers will pay the price of their incompetence.
Thats the way how things are. If you send money to an exchange its no more your money.
Yes the company owns you something, but if the company is  bancrupt, your funds have gone up in smoke...
Same if you buy a car and pay in advance...or if you order something in an internetshop, pay and the shop turns into bancrupsy.
Quote
i dont think these liquidators has the right to take everyone's money and pay for cryptopia debt.
Yes he has. Its not everybodys money, its money that belongs to cryptopia.
With cryptopias money all will be paid, but we users are quite behind in the queue.
After us are only the shareholders, they wont see anything for sure.
(I guess they took all before already ;-) )

I am almost sure, cryptopia broke the law before getting bancrupt.

Anyone out there can help me structure this thing the right way?
Go to a lawyer.
Every state or country has different regulations.
Dont expect to receive valuable and true info for free.
I mean its your ass you wanna risk...

Those users who had BTC, ETH and other altcoins in Cryptolia wallets can expect a full or partial refund.
No.

Our funds dont belong to us only because the website showed that amount in our accounts.
If you send coins to an exchange, this coins dont belong to you any more.
Who guaranties that our accounts amounts were ever existent in real coins?
All existing coins will probably be sold.
The Haircutcoin is without value, so it cant be sold.

Then the liquidators salary and costs will be paid(huge).
Then taxes will be paid.
Then bills will be paid.
Staffs salaries will be paid.
Whats eventually left will be distributed among us.
Its by mathematics impossible to get a full refund.

The reason why they closed is NOT because users sent coins to old, hacked addresses.
This is was no loss for cryptopia.
The damage from the hack was already socialised, so also there no loss for cryptopia.
They never promised that they will repay the users losses.
Either they did not hold the coins that they should hold,
and/or they did not have the knowledge and ability to admin the site.
As far as I know the ownership of cryptopia changed shortly before the hack.
Even before the hack, the site was sometimes poor managed,
but afterwards maybe total amateurs and/or reckless scammers were in office.

Dont expect more than maybe 10% getting back after years, if ever.
850  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: The best services for online payments? on: May 17, 2019, 06:42:01 PM
If you want to sell, only accept cash, goods, westernunion, moneygram, giftcards or sell on exchanges.
If you buy use what you like.
Anyway there are many ways to get scammed, and many ways to get screwed by paymentprocessors and exchanges.
You will learn a lot while trying to trade...
Dont trust anyone, no websites and no people.
Especially in the P2P-Market like in this forum, maybe 80% are scammers...maybe even more

If you dont even understand why your accounts will get frozen-better dont even think about buying/selling cryptos OTC.
Do it only on big exchanges and you are relative safe.

A lot of people here can accept paypal or skrill, because they have fake identities, fake accounts and withdraw fast.
The poeople here that want to pay with paypal have almost all stolen(phishing) accounts.
851  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: The best services for online payments? on: May 17, 2019, 06:47:32 AM
So my question, are any online payment providers (paypal, skrill, etc) Bitcoin friendly? I don't want to start trading and then have my account frozen.
Your accounts will be frozen not because of trading crypto. They will be frozen because of chargebacks by scammers.
Accept Skrill, Paypal,Neteller and sell Cryptos: You will loose funds and accounts.
852  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia has been in "maintenance" for the last 14 hours! on: May 17, 2019, 05:11:45 AM
Novaexchange has  hidden hosting as whois shows.
I also cannot find an imprint on the website.
Who is the company behind?
Its shady as its totally anonymous but asks users to do KYC.
I prefer KYE(KnowYourExchange) before I sent a satoshi there...
853  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: May 16, 2019, 07:54:03 AM
Its almost sure it will not be reopened.
Liquidation means, the coins that cryptopia really hold(not what is shown from db in our accounts) will be sold.
Then the liquidator, the taxes and all bills will be paid.
If anything remains-and that wont be much if any, we will be paid out from that percentually.
So dont expect you may click on withdraw again at cryptopia.

854  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: CloudPay - new exchange service for Telegram messenger on: May 16, 2019, 07:12:28 AM
Even startups have to publish an imprint on their website.
Whats your company name and adress? Where is it registered?
Whats your taxnr?

Up to now, all is anonymous and hidden. Thats a RED FLAG
855  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: May 16, 2019, 07:02:39 AM
Never.
Cryptopia is dead
856  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia has been in "maintenance" for the last 14 hours! on: May 15, 2019, 04:17:07 PM
In the last days it looked as if the btc withdraws were long delayed, so maybe they were running out of coins.
That means, they would maybe not have hold the amount they should hold.
Well after got hacked with 9-20% lost, they did the haircut, so the loss was already socialized.
Most coins were trade disabled, even after they "secured" the wallets.
There was no intention to give more than a few selected coins back,
but they enabled deposit of BTC until the very moment they closed.
Kind of scammy eh?
All users that held coins today will probably see nothing any more, or only a fraction, and that after maybe years.
So why did they file bancrupcy?
After spreading lies about their progress and disinformation about the hack, what shall we believe?
Isnt that extreme unfair to the users? What dead corpses are hidden under cryptopias carpets?

Yesterdays maintenance screen showed: DONT PANIC

Thats pure sarcasm, they even laugh about us stupid users loosing all funds...
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is TradeSatoshi Safe? Anyone Used It? on: May 15, 2019, 11:17:56 AM
Tradesatoshi.com belongs to Adam Clark.
Well he is also one of the owners of the now bancrupt exchange cryptopia.
All victims of cryptopia know now how they were cheated.
After the hack around 15% of funds were lost.
But most of the remaining cryptos were not able to be traded or withdrawn afterwards.
So Cryptopia made mode damage than the hackers.
False and missing information from the scammers at cryptopia.
All Funds inside are now lost.
But until the last day they allowed deposits, so they rose the damage.
Just keep that in mind, if you trade on tradesatoshi.com with at least one of the same guys...and think twice if you can trust them....
858  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia has been in "maintenance" for the last 14 hours! on: May 15, 2019, 06:38:00 AM
They are bankrupt.
All Coins that are left in our balance are lost.
Dont expect anything to get back.

14-20% of funds stolen by hackers.
80% stolen by Cryptopia.

LIARS and SCAMMERS
859  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: May 12, 2019, 10:53:09 AM
Given Ex. is Loki, but also other coins cannot been traded now and not withdrawn

And, I cast my vote for binance.  Still one of the top exchanges around, you won't likely beat their fees.  Buy a few $ worth of their binance coin to use for fees, and they'll give you a discount.
Right now no deposit and no withdraw at binance, so forget binance today
