I am not an expert in cryptography, is there any way to find out at least from which exchange or billet company such LTC address comes from?
If it belongs to any exchanges and the cold or main hot wallet of the exchange is known, then yes, you can know that. Otherwise, there's no chance you can know unless you go with a legal procedure to hunt down them though it's not guaranteed. Seriously, is it possible that a hacker can even imitate the characters of my original address? is what you say real?

This doesn't prove anything. How can you be sure that you didn't give a wrong address. There has been a trend of copy paste malware which can change anyone's content on the clipboard. It's possible that you have been infected with that malware and they changed your copied address into this address. Well, this is a possibility. It has happened with so many people.
Regarding sportsbet, I really doubt they would apply such shady method to not pay legit winnings. They are one of the coolest casino out there. From the last few days experience, one thing I learnt is that they care the most for their customers. Anyway, anything can happen. I will PM SB representative here to have a look here.

For those who don't know the story, 79k bitcoins were sent to this address 11 years ago, in 2011, and they were never moved, not a single dollar.
It is said that they were stolen from Mt Gox, The first 79,956 BTC where deposited into the address on the 1st March 2011. Mt. Gox major hack came in around June 2011 according to WikipediaSo the Mt Gox story is ruled out. Maybe the owner might have lost access to the wallet or is no more alive. Those coins cost less than a dollar when it was accumulated. The wonder of hodling  Well, most of the websites including blockchain.com tagged this address as Mtgox hacker wallet address. I don't have much idea about when mtgox was hacked or what but here I got a chat history which was right after the deposit and they claim mtgox was hacked and `~80k BTC was stolen. The screenshot says it was from March 03, 2011. Don't know who is who lol. The tweet says Craig Wright claims to own the address lol but he doesn't have the private key. This fraud is trying to claim all the dormant addresses but who care as long as he doesn't have the key?
This is definitely an account set up to used for accumulating bitcoin. I checked through the address on blockchair and the owner is definitely using a DCA method to accumulate. The owner does at least a little top every week with as little as 0.00001btc. This has been going on for the past 12 years now.
Personally this seems like a good way of accumulating bitcoin but the problem I have will be having lots of these funds on a single wallet. On security and privacy perspective I don’t feel it’s ok.
I doubt this assumption is the best possibility answer, the address has a name of fees which is something that might be related to services that ask for fees. It might be one of the long running service on Bitcoin or someone just spamming it. It’s very hard to believe that someone with that huge amount of Bitcoin for 12years will never spend a single satoshi and accumulate with a very low amount? He is already a billionaire rn if the owner of this wallet still have access on it. Buying 0.00001btc for DCA doesn't make any sense. Come on. Who on earth would buy this small amount when he owns 80k BTC lol? This small amount we see is sent by on-chain analysts so they can track them fast. There are many people keeping eyes on such addresses and these small amounts are the result of that. |

The signal to noise ratio on platforms like Facebook or Telegram is heavily skewed towards "noise". These platforms are absolutely rife with scams. I have a solid experience in this. Back in the day, there was barely any place where people can buy/sell Bitcoin from Bangladesh. As a result, Facebook was the only source to do so. I was an admin in a Facebook group (cryptocurrency discussion). I used to get scam accusations almost every day. It was a surprise that people get scammed and again looked for deals on Facebook. There were different kinds of traps around which made face-to-face deals risky too. Well, later I introduced escrow service there and it was running smoothly + generating good profits for me until Binance came up with their shit idea. |

They will never learn. In my country, there was Evaly which scammed a lot of people. Their business model was different though. They were selling products at huge discounts, almost at half price at the beginning. But the condition was, you will get the product after 3/4 months, and sometimes, no product but a refund. They have run the project for a long until govt found a lot of illegal activities and complain against them. The project was paused as expected and govt couldn't recover the money from the owner. But these stupid people again invested in similar new sites in the hope of getting a product at a discount. Most of them were scammed. That's why I said they will never learn. |

I don't want to be more off-topic here. Regarding asking someone- I have been asked by 2 people. One from Bitcointalk and one from real life (my friend). I asked them how it works and they told me the details. As it totally sounds like a scam, I asked them not to invest. But the one from Bitcointalk has invested and lost. People here in Bangladesh dream of being rich overnight. That's where the problem is. Hopefully those who have fallen victim to this MTFE scam will learn from it and focus on developing skills that will come in handy for real life earning.
There's one thing common in the Ponzi scheme. Both scammers and investors don't get changed. Scammers create one project, scam, and come up with new projects. While the investors get fucked, regret and again invest in another new Ponzi project. That's what I have been watching in the market lol. |
