and note:  there's no pixelation, that's just because I screenshotted it from my program, all logos are completely rounded and in full res

That second version is definitely more eye-appealing. Reminds me of the cover of that new hardcover book, 2018 Catalog of Standard Crypto Currencies...

lol yeah does look like a book cover

Your BTC looks a little janky compared to the one on this book cover.

I like this but if I were to buy one I would want proper unmodified logos. The bitcoin one in your reference picture just feels wrong. I do understand why you have added your own flair to them and it will be a nice piece in the end.
863  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Special Auction for 5x Denarium 1 BTC Patinated Bronze Coin on: April 24, 2018, 08:29:50 PM
The auction price includes the VAT (EU customers).

What if all USA customers win? Does that mean they will get all get a slight refund? Because if the VAT price is built into the auction price, and there is actually no VAT charged that means the customers are over paying?

How can you overpay in an auction that you yourself bid a certain amount for? Take $20 off your bid if you believe this is a problem.
864  Economy / Collectibles / Re: KeepKey Gold Packaging on: April 19, 2018, 11:46:42 PM
Do either of you have one from the manufacturer to compare against, packaging-wise? I guess not, but was just curious?

I'd call or email them and ask/show them? They should know. perhaps one was issued first etc? Tongue

We'll have to see if krogothmanhattan got the one he auctioned off from the website or not, if he did then the golden logo is moreso confirmed than the golden ribbon. My guess is it falls into the "while supples last" category. I still have a third coming and if its the ribbon style I'll open it up and check it out.

I was waiting to post this exact same thread. I now also have one of each type of packaging but can not say for sure what is real and what is not. I only load these if I buy them direct from the manufacturer so these will remain as showpieces.

EDIT: Poop, 20 seconds late Sad

Maybe not? Ramelius' bid at 2 minutes before end time should extend auction five more minutes. At least that is by my forum time.

20 seconds late. 5 minutes and 20seconds after Ramelius' bid.

There will 50 PRIZES, Yes that is right 50!!!! Once all of the spots are spoken for and paid for than I will pick a future block to start. The last two characters of the hash of it will determine who is the first winner after that, every other block will determine the next 49 winners.
\
-snip-

Does this mean every second block after is the winner?

every other (or every second)
phrase of every

    1.
each second in a series; each alternate.

I know english may not be your first language but this will need clarification if I and others are to enter.

So lets say we start the prizes at block 100,000. Block number 100,000 will be a winner, block number 100,002 will be a winner, block number 100,004 will be a winner so on and so forth

My apologies I see it is written there right in the OP, cant believe I missed it lol.

Previous Mega Raffles always had a picture of the prizes. Can we see each coin in their respectable airtite to prove you are serious about this?

I always interpret it as if there is a bid just before end time it extends the auction by 5minutes from the END time(in this case) but only for the first bid after, then it becomes a running 5minutes from the latest bid.
...

I'm feeling a little ganged up on.   Huh  The language "will add an additional 5 minutes ad infinitum" suggests that multiple 5 minute increments may be added.  So I don't think it means that just one is added.

lol you are not being ganged up on. If the sniping rule said that any bid within the last 5 minutes adds an additional 5 minutes to the END of the auction then you would have won. but this particular one reads as though the 5 minutes is added to any bid received in the last 5 minutes of the auction(in this case I believe GP wins). Wording in sniping rules has to be very carefully read and a lot of times it does lead to these kinds of arguments. This is why these questions and clarifications should be asked about before the auction has ended.
