861  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: December 22, 2022, 11:55:26 AM
Life that I am living right now is teaching a lot of stuff about the financial situation of me and my family. I am a guy who is always straight and do not want to bend the rules of book. I am going with routine life with a part time job in local bar and at the same time pursuing the education (side courses). Its very hard for me to live on single job so I am also working out my hard time through forum's earnings and ton of side hustles that I keep doing all the time.

Now you guys might have learnt by now that I am just the average earner and not doing great about my financial freedom. For example, I want to open up my business associated with mechanical stuff but there is literal challenge of managing normal funds so what to say about other stuff?
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People who holds 1+ Bitcoin, how does it feel to hold in bear market? on: December 22, 2022, 10:22:03 AM
i have coins from as far back as 2012. so i have no fear or worry at all

i did also buy about $5k worth(0.16btc) when the price was $30k this year, i have no regrets on that deal either

i didnt need to buy more, i have hoards. this little 0.16 does not impact the hoards. so its just lays there as dust compared to lumps when comparing the wallets

but compared to the 2021 peak $70k.. $30k price was a good deal. and dont regret it even now

the trick is PATIENCE, and not investing amounts which you fear losing.
dont invest more then you can risk/afford

$5k is just a years worth of food waste toilet flushes to me,
it would have been lost if not invested anyways(i would have spent it on junk food/luxury food that just gets digested and plops out in a toilet)

Now that's something good to hear about. This person holds since 2012, and here I am who started in the middle timeline of bitcoin. I might have sold my bitcoins so many times. I think if I sum up all the balances from all the addresses then there is possibility that I held around 0.10 BTC or something. However, there is catch in that. I held them back in time, meaning that would be sum of total received coins but not the current balance of that address. I am not a weak hand but I am selling them because I need them really.

I dont know, I may not able to be as strong as franky did but it would be increase my heart beats if I am holding 1 BTC and the prices are going nuts all the time.  Grin
863  Economy / Economics / Re: Texts exchanged by Binance CEO and Sam Bankman-Fried as FTX collapsed on: December 21, 2022, 04:29:41 PM
Hmm, when you know you are doing wrong thing and it can have consequences but still you go further and keep doing it until it fails. That’s what happening here. Greed is perfect player here whose playing since the beginning of these exchanges. We should have stopped at peer to peer system and keep following the same till date but no! They had to jump and they had to invent the trading and use bitcoin as medium to generate more money. Imagine if the peer to peer approach was still in place nobody would have faced meltdown to such high extent.
864  Economy / Economics / Re: California and the Midwest face ‘high risk’ of electricity shortages on: December 21, 2022, 02:25:17 PM
Desperate time calls for desperate measures!
US will need to enforce proper stations and substations around the country. Though they have population under control they have high usage of the electricity. I don’t know why there is always negative news about US which is in the ratio of 2:5 considering US:World. This ain’t funny. How are they managing the entire nation if these are going to escalate day by day.
Is US not prepared for the worst ?
They are one of the powerful continent in the world I just hope they keep upgrading themselves with time and leave the “oldie” administration behind the lines.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very thankful for what bitcoin has done for me. on: December 21, 2022, 01:09:03 PM
Keep it up mate. Lot of things to learn from the bitcoin and its various chapters. Though many of us start with the bitcoin with monetary gains only, one should always be learning about the basics of bitcoin. You can always access the Bitcoin whitepaper here and go through all the tech behind it and principle of its working.

What Satoshi has given us is not just trading asset which many people think these days but it is more than that and it is transactional feature that no traditional bank or government would ever give us. This peer to peer currency has changed the entire exchange system around the world. Imagine if it was not there then we still would have been stuck with paper based and privacy-breaching system of the banks.

Literally, borderless transactions are thing of the past now! Everything is close, everything is nearby.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden is ready to become Twitter CEO for bitcoin pay on: December 21, 2022, 12:46:52 PM
I am not sure if Edward is worthy of this position or not, I am only thinking about the future of twitter and whether I still get follow quick news in the future or not?

Plus, if they start paying this guy in Bitcoin then damn, let him be CEO and hope that Elon keeps buying bitcoins to pay his fat pocket salary each month. At least that will help us as hodler. We will know exactly how everyone else will be reacting to this kind of adoption. Let us hope that other billionaires follow the same trend and slowly it injects the whole damn thing everywhere in the world.

That being said, imagine if Edward is CEO and he enforces the tip button which was thought long ago by Elon. DOGE would be seeing some good days in the future. Though we learnt our lesson about the DOGE, then also there are millions of followers and hodlers, so anything can happen with the event tha tis described in the OP.
867  Other / Off-topic / Re: Neuralink & Blockchain Applicatons? on: December 20, 2022, 03:20:42 AM
I am not sure why this topic was moved to "Off-Topic".

I really thought that there will be excellent debate on this technology. Yes, I get it that it's very new technology and feels imaginary but we are already half way through it. FDA has given permissions and human trials are pending in may be next 6-7 months after they suffice the internal FDA audits.

I really thought that engineers and scientists from the forum will open up for this topic.

It seems nobody look at this project the way future look back to us.
868  Economy / Gambling / Re: 4CryptoBet New Online Crypto Casino and Sports Betting! on: December 19, 2022, 06:46:22 PM
Welcome to the forum mate. The casino looks good but far away from the lucid user interface. I went through the pdf guide that you guys have made. I got one comment on it, you guys can upgrade it a little bit more into proper HD guide. It seems in house editing to me and you could really change the way it had been written. However, you have done a good job doing that because such guides aren’t available on other sites readily.

The tone is good on the casino but definitely you guys will see lot of changes with the time as players starts jumping in and making more reviews. Good luck guys.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who was selling bitcoins during late 2010 to Early 2011? on: December 19, 2022, 06:15:19 PM
You don't have valid and needed information here, so I don't think anyone could provide the needful answers as you seem to be ranting. You don't have access to the transaction details, not the email, not even the computer you used at that time. What else could be provided to you? Also, what did you mean by "x 100000000000000000?" Bitcoin amount or what? Maybe you should reconstruct this question for better clarity.

However, on the second question, I found something that might be useful to you here Mt. Gox

Cryptos have not been recovered till now, but there is hope for that soon.

The number OP mentioned is nothing but multiplying his commotion of how retarded they were back then not to save the information properly and now regret it after decade of time.

I am not surprised because anyone would feel the same way as OP is doing.

There is literally no way to recover your bitcoins because OP does not even have relevant information about the storage, neither the keys and nor the trail of the whole communication.

There is no use of contacting the person to whom you sent them because what you gonna say to them? Return the coins?  Grin
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption and On-boarding of a tailor friend. on: December 19, 2022, 05:27:53 PM
Wow this is another thread with one more picture about people accepting bitcoin in their local shops. How realistic it is to see that bitcoin is actually getting accepted from the base market. That’s what is needed to make it stronger. But I’m also very concerned that such basic level is accepting bitcoin and putting their trust in it. I just hope that big fish does not take advantage of this situation and fill up their own pockets. That would be freaking bad for such group of people. Bitcoin should go in circulation from general people to institutional investors in the same equal manners. That would be really cool to see in the near future.
Happy birthday and good luck for publishing more.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When devs don't even know what they are doing on: December 19, 2022, 05:10:22 PM
Seems like free ride for the marketing guys. Just stick a bitcoin name into your crypto related website and boom, you are all set to gain huge exposure over the internet. Specifically crypto users will start jumping into the website at least out of curiosity and to see what it is exactly and what’s the offering from them.

Just like the way we are talking about it right now. Imaging if that project had another name then who would have published it here and who would have been arguing about it ? No one!

But we are talking about it because that is kind of marketing strategy mate.

Thanks to admin or whoever handle this on freebitco after 9 hours the winning bet just came into my balance
I hope the probably fair concept will run forever, cheers
That’s called as perfect support and team with dedication. Like he was literally worried about his funds and winnings and got negative impression about freebitcoin but within 9 hours everything was sorted. Usually they take 24-48 hours Timeline to resolve any tickets but freebitcoin team did it within 12 hours. This gives me trust that this site is going to live another hundred years for sure.  Tongue
I just hope I keep collecting good winnings from WOF, sports betting and also RP. One day I want to withdraw huge amount of Satoshi from this site by waiting for a decade or so. Keep it up guys.

Hello, the administration has been ignoring my emails for a long time.
My Google account was hacked, my email was changed to freebitcoin. Within six months, I restored access to Google, I did it. But I could not restore access to my freebitcoin account. My account was deliberately hacked with the help of a brute, I had a lot of referrals.
I want to get my account back so far, I can provide account id, registration letters and so on. Now access to native mail has been restored, and freebitcoin simply ignores the person who brought 1000 people to the site.

This is unique. It’s not about how many people you bring on the site. May be there is another reason behind it? You could just drop your query to wetsuit, they might help.
873  Economy / Economics / Re: A breakthrough in thermonuclear fusion technology! End of the era of hydrocarbon on: December 19, 2022, 04:16:38 PM
Yeah last time I checked nature is still giving us free energy from solar, wind and water however humans have not implemented the perfect solution to use them 100%.
So what we have done is, we are trying to create mini sun on the earth itself so that we can power everything in the long with small energy pockets installed everywhere.
I am amazed they were not exploring the ways of harnessing suns energy rather they went behind creating the entire sun on the earth.

I learnt from my last post that people are always agreeing to disagreements, so I’m also going to do same with this topic. I don’t think it’s breakthrough.
874  Other / Off-topic / Re: Neuralink & Blockchain Applicatons? on: December 19, 2022, 10:10:17 AM
I cannot see the connection between neurolink amd bitcoin, buddy. Say, yeah, we have developed a lot of technologies in the past 100 years and these technologies have been allowing us to leapfrog our development in a way that never happened before. Nevertheless, I do not understand the connection you are doing between neurolink and cryptos. Care to explain?

Ok this answer is for everyone guys:

I know that the primary applications are for medical conditions. However Link is far more than that. Since we are anyways implanting it and connecting with neurons, we already giving it access to whole brain and eventually to the hidden areas of the brain.

What I mean when I say Neuralink + Blockchain is:

If you read carefully then Link will be able to communicate with the everyday technology as well. Meaning, you will able to control the apps, write the apps too (one of the feature of link). Once we have technology ready for the general population use (after clinical trials) then developers all around the world can easily develop open source apps which will use Link's interface to let people use their brain activity to control the blockchain applications too.

We may have wallets with extended coding to communicate with our brains and store the Bitcoin or any other crypto currencies in biological memory.

The Link is using Electrical signals to communicate with the brain. With more than 80 billion neurons brain functions as bodies computer. By processing the images, visions, sounds by converting them into proteins and storing that memory in the brain.

Imagine, we can have interface where we will be able to upload the blockchain data in the form of electrical signals to our brain, which then will be converted into the proteins which will carry the information. For example, your private keys, your data associated with it. You can easily transfer the stored bitcoins with just one thought of sending it to a address.

We can have our own biological fingerprints to access these stored bitcoins or any data in personal space of blockchain. This will have enormous applications in all the ways, whether it's security of the data or storing of critical information on our brains.

Yup, I might be sounding too futuristic, but hey come on we are talking about something which is one step away from becoming the reality since the time FDA approval has come for the project.

875  Other / Off-topic / Neuralink & Blockchain Applicatons? on: December 19, 2022, 06:16:23 AM
Those who know about Neuralink already might have started second thoughts already after reading the thread title!

Some of them might be positive electrical surges or some of them might be negative electrical surges that flown through your synapses right after reading it. Now, that so called process of thinking is what makes our brain powerful and intelligent machine. Smiley

I am writing this thread because world's changing a lot and sometime I do feel we are ahead of the time in accepting futuristic technologies. After the World War I and II happened there was enormous growth in the inventions and they led to both good and terrifying technologies.

Today, just after little 10 decades we are talking about Wireless communications over smartphone to small chips on the computers. That also becomes thing of yesterday and we invented Blockchain, which brought another revolutionary way to store the data and have it's integrity for endless time.

On simultaneous scale, there are on going researches in the world such as
1) Powering the Cities with Nuclear Fission
2) Providing Internet to every corner of the world without wires - Starlink
3) Artificial Intelligence robots army as our servants and military work force

and most interesting and mind blowing

4) Neuralink.

NEURALINK - Interfacing with the Brain
Quote
We’re aiming to design a fully implantable, cosmetically invisible brain-computer interface to let you control a computer or mobile device anywhere you go. Micron-scale threads would be inserted into areas of the brain that control movement. Each thread contains many electrodes and connects them to an implant called the “Link.”

As you might have already updated yourself with the news that we can now have first Human Trial after 6-7 months which is already approved by FDA. This means the research associated with Nueralink is moving towards successful implementation in the human brain after pigs and monkeys.

Neuralink is initially being researched for the people who carries one or other form of disability due lack of brain's activity. This technology is piece of chip that can act as fully functioning brain on that spot and get rid of the disability.

Since we are "HUMANS", we are always greedy and want to explore more from the tech. Obvioulsy Elon isn't going to stop here. The paper does suggest Neuralink will be able to have interface with the various external devices through an Bluetooth connection thus we can control the devices and apps on the phone. From our past experiences we know that once such connectivity's start we can keep going on endlessly.

[Source]

If this is anyway going to be technological advancement then what is going to stop us from merging it with the blockchain technology? I mean there could be day when we will link us with Artificial Intelligence robots and control them with our minds.

Going further, Arab country has already launched their mega project of "The Line". It is meant to be futuristic and thus they are also going to invent unreal technologies to sustain the life in "The Line".

Considering the fact that we are moving at lightening speed in the future and thus could end up with the need of storing and integrating the "Data" over blockchain. We can safely assume that there wont be any paper or pen in the future. Whether its small purchase to big acquisitions we Humans will be able to pay, synch, store the data over blockchain with our "Minds" using the Neuralink technology.

I dont know, but invention of Blockchain and Neuralink and other on going research in the field of energy, all seems to be connected and all of them are at right spot and right time to move humanity towards intelligent life.
876  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much uncertanity here it got be more sure here what i say on: December 18, 2022, 04:06:24 PM
The fact that we are in the crypto market makes it more difficult for us to understand whom to believe and whom not believe. The market is huge and it’s bumpy ride all the way. It’s up to us how to make money out of it. We can either keep talking the obstacles, difficulties and volatility or we just straight away jump into it and keep buying more coins. I mean we only loose when we sell the coins which is the oldest saying here and from the fellow members. I would always like to believe them and kee holding until I get best profits out of it.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 18, 2022, 03:05:27 PM
Frankly we are in the riskiest market here but we can always take shot with popular and old projects here. If anyone’s is already guessing then I’m talking about those top 10 old coins we keep seeing on CMC. Literally I feel like they are harmless coins and they could at least give us security of long term investment with them. I know it’s still risky to trust that list but there are some coins which would always be giving us positive results.

With this approach we know one thing always, we are not going to fall for the high Return projects anytime.  Definitely it’s no for us.
878  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla’s stock prices dropping fast on: December 18, 2022, 02:19:57 PM
Thank God I have bought everything in the crypto currency and little less or maybe nothing from the stock market. I’m very terrified when it comes to the Share market games. Don’t know there is too much of wait time for them to boom and also there is always risk like the one is being explained in the Op here. With the crypto currencies that’s what we can avoid. Yes there is lot of volatility and stuff however we can always be sure that asset like bitcoin can always boom itself to unexpected price. So I’m going stick to it only and stay away from the billionaires tweet.
879  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 18, 2022, 01:42:43 PM

They are very active before but when they reach the peak of exposure, they stop doing this and even the art contest is not a monthly contest anymore. Roobet is doing great with this art contest though, there are also participants who are submitting an art work from their relatives so maybe, you can also do this if you really want to participate on Roobet art contest.

I wish they would launch some more promotions on this forum as they did before as it was always fun to participate. You had casino promotions (reach a certain multiplier on a game), sports promotions (predict the final score of matches), guess the slot, ...

Ahh that one, you talking about the Games and Rounds buddy. Roobet was one of the first I think or at least one of the highest roller in that section. I am not sure how they stopped doing it because it was really one of the favourite game section when Roobet was doing it. 😍
I just hope they will be back soon in the new year.

Roobet has been surprising us since they visited this forum. It’s good you have brought this up. I hope Roobet will surely hear us and launch new competitions soon.
880  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Deflationary Investment the Most Profitable Strategy for Our Era of Crisis on: December 18, 2022, 12:09:02 PM
I gotta mention one important thing about fossils and fuels. Though as per your definition they are deflationary assets but we got to agree that they are going to “end” after sometime. They are going to vanish and ther wouldn’t be anything left to dig out of the earth. In short its an asset which will become zero for sure.

Now some of you might just say that there is still plenty of resources for our generations to come. However, those plenty of resources are so abundant now that you will use more energy to dig it out rather than making it viable asset for investment.

I think we should understand it’s not investment option, it’s just last resort burning fuel and nothing more.

With more purer energies getting researched I think fossils got least shot at it.
